Anyway, to make a long story short, I went sledding - by myself - at 1 in the morning. just down he hill twice - huffed and puffed on my way up. i will never be accused of acting my age ;)

restaurants lost a lot of Valentines business last night. On the other hand, the ski industry in Vermont is finally up and running. I'm just down here for the week. It's actually a lot easier to weather storms up in Vermont, as we are more self sufficient-have the wood stoves and a generator. Here everything is on the city grid and when it goes, that's it.
