yeah sprite - nearly over it now - poor Aknitter - that must really hurt - its very difficult to do anything with a broken hip - my sister had an accident a few years ago and broke her wrist and discloated her hip and she was in pain for a long time - particularly after she had had her arm in palster for 6 weeks and then they dfiscovered she had also broken her humerus as well!

I knew they weren't all dressed in red and all....we had a huge problem with the horses getting sick on cold days, and no one could figure it out. then finally they discovered that on REALLY cold days, the breath of the horses was freezing on the way in, and the little ice particle were piercing the insides of the horses and they were suffering from internal bleeding, poor things!

No, JBV, since I speak it I usually just rely on one-word translations from Interglot and the like and then have a Dutch-born person check my reports for grammar.
My neighbor's son has a nut allergy too. He's only 2 so they need to be very careful at public places wehre someone might give him something to eat.
my daughter in law is allergic to nuts... I'm not even allowed to put pecans in the turkey stuffing... the oils leach out into the meat

My middle daughter started smoking during her year abroad in high school and just quit a few weeks ago. She asked what I wanted for Christmas and I told her "I want you to quit smoking so you have a longer life - the world is a wonderful place" she burst into tears and quit!

Smoking is evil. My oldest brother (55) is currently undergoing chemo for bladder cancer. Bladder is clear for the moment, but he just found out that it has spread to his lower spine. He quit smoking when he was diagnosed.
