i had sent out invitations at work to a lecture followed by dinner. some people have asked me what time the dinner is, with the lecture being at 4. so i tell them, about 5:30. this doctor replied to me (who did not set the date, time, venue, guest list, or anything) and said, "we're not driving around florida looking for an early bird special here!" and went on about how he couldn't leave his patients that early and whatnot.

i was living in rhode island when we went on this field trip.
kids still think the back of the bus is cool. i always sit in the front row and pay no attention to them unless they get very very loud
another boy kept coming to the back of the bus, to the bathroom. my mom was wondering why he needed it so much and then we found out he was "checking his hair"
how about the statue? or do you just remember the busride?
so the next time he came down the aisle, my mom said, "your hair looks great, joey", and he just went back to his seat without going in the bathroom.
