our son got a ticket for operating a vehicle without a license - he was only pushing a dirt bike around! Then the officer came around to suggest that he might want to "see a recruiter" and join up and the ticket would go away. Can you imagine?! I went off! We're fighting the ticket, it's ridiculous.

I see absolutely no difference --- at what point during the day are there not people all at once trying to find words
true, BR, we've all seen the same words asked to be clued for maybe 15 min apart for hours, sometimes, by diff. people, lol
I see the difference at flip as being that everyone sees the grid for the first time, at the same time. The rush then seems to be to find the biggest words and to indicate that you've found them. There's more of a race feel at that time, would you not agree?

I wrote a crisp email to her DR and a crisper phone message to the PA

found out that in spite of everything we were told when we checked her in they just CONTINUED ALL the meds the hospital had used.
I've been very protective and proactive with my elderly relatives when they are admitted. This is terrible!

TO, I do not know the med ort his condition, but yes, most meds can be adjusted, and I cannot think of any heart med that usually causes eyes to tear (doesn't mean that it doesn't in him, just not a common side effect) talk to his doc
he has just become so stubborn. our relationship has fractured.
there are eye drops that are long term eye moisteners that may help if he's so insistant on taking that med
stubborn is OK, keeps him alive... I like stubborn old people - LOL
he has drops. eye doctor says it's internal med drying them and causing overreaction
I couldn't think of any heart med that would have that effect either, kje
gentelgel eye moistener is the best available over the counter for that (been getting for Mother)

TO - please do not take this wrong, but I wouldn't argue with him about this stuff - it isn't worth it. Find a doc you trust, discuss issues with them, and then let the doc argue with him about what is most important - too many kids end up in an adversarial relationship at the end when roles switch - it generally isn't worth it and is often regretted
well i cannot talk with his dr...not sure how i can do this.
i have been just avoiding. i am an avoider by nature.
sure you can... go to his next appt with him, or ask the doc to call you, the doc may not discuss some stuff with you if they feel the patient doesn't want it, but they usually listen to your concerns and can look into the situation next visit
