I'm not going to dig the specifics of the past, it's not fair, jilli. But a few people were truly worried and creeped out by his behaviour, and whenever he was asked about it, he'd just deny everything and say we were the bad ones and that he had his spies out for what we would say about him. I'm sure he'll tell you something completely different.
I dunno. But they started making up all the rules about cluing and stuff, and I just had to stop playing for a while. Dr. God defended me, but it did not matter.

kate, a camwalker is a huge boot/splint, goes to my knee, it keeps my foot at the correct angle ( to prevent foot-drop)
too bad you weren't more mobile, putting foot up higher than heart would help a lot...hip level is not much help, but better than nothing
i am allowed to remove it when in bed, but especially in the evening it seems to increase the pain
oh camwalker...thought you were talking about a 4-footed metal frame that surrounds you front and sides , hold with both hands...know what i mean?
stillearly days, and the foot and ankle are quite swollen, am wearing compression bandage
probably because swelling increases through day as you are vertical

had surgery last year, repair of fracture etc, but the post-tibialis tendon went slack, like cheap elastic, the bones had nothing to hold them in position

told you i eat zantec like candy..just had 2 matter of fact
rapid fire zantac 150's 2 at a time as often as you notice symptoms....when it seeems a little better you can reduce frequency or use 75's in middle of day...keep using 150's first and last of day..
right now i have 2 in the morn and 1 at night..sigh my have to cut down the bacon and booze lol

Sorry to chime in in the middle, but I also found something on an alternative site, which i was very sceptical about, but have found tremendously useful, which is a teaspoon of pure liquid honey. At times I can use it instead of the zantac. Also exercise-walking, is really important for me. and no dairy, which is my hardest challenge.

i know. But anything you read about reflux will mention dairy as problematic. And if i cut dairy out (except for some really good parmesano reggiano which I use in moderation) and walk, and eat almost no chocolate, and no caffeine, and of course nothing greasy or fatty, and no popcorn or peanuts, and am moderate in everything else, then i sometimes actually don't have to take the meds. And of course have the head of my bed elevated and don't eat anything for 3 hours before going to bed. use the honey by itself.

you can baste with it, or take boneless chicken breast, or turkey cutlets and brush with maple syrup before dipping in herbed bread crumbs, or mix with some mustard and use as a sauce.
in general I like sweet with savory-garlic and sweet being one of my favorites.

have also done grilled polenta drizzled with olive oil, syrup, garlic and topped with goat cheese.

I have worked out a method though-bird seed in backpack, snowshoes and poles - bird feeder is only around the back of the house, but in mid winter it is quite a feat to get there and back. the idea of wearing a ski suit in public is only slightly less alarming than a bathing suit

solved the squirrels by feeding them in a more accessible place, thewy usually go where it's easiest. deer is a bit trickier, can you put feed corn or hay further away - gets expensive though
It's against the law to purposefully feed the deer hear - and if I feed the squirrels closer to the house they get the idea that IN the house would be even better.

Even for status migrainous. It has worked in the past (several yrs ago) if us4 early, but I am 4 days into this now.
It causes the blood vessels in the head to constrict, less blood flow to head. Unfortunately the side effect is that it raises BP.

My corporation runs a bunch of group homes and before we started using PTO, it was a MAJOR headache making sure everyone got 8 hours off for Columbus Day, etc.
including people who usually work ten hour days and people who usually work six hour days. Do they get a DAY off or EIGHT HOURS off?
Plus, I'm never sick so I get more time off than people in poor health
oh yes, that kind of issues. I think my ex-employer wanted to make us pay for being allowed to work in the4 end.
we used to get off whatever our schedule is. now std i 8 hours and you must take leave if you want more. while other entities keep the policy, our lawyers say it is against regs.

yes, sad -- but important to understand when dealing with people who have developed those particular "coping" mechanisms. It took me half of last year to help a student move from "I'll never get it so why try" to taking an interest -- and it wasn't until a month before the end of school that there was significant self-directed interest.
