Their first line of defense with reflux is to add the bulkiness of the pectin to help them keep down the food... in her case it was the worst thing, but we did not know that right off the bat. So, sometimes with these types of things you have to use trial and error.
Once we used oat to add the bulk she was fine.

He had been looking like an "old man hamster" for a while (thinning hair) but he was so energentic I was still very surprised. They say two years is the life expectancy, so I guess he mostly hit old age.

Hamsters don't live long, but sometimes people mistake their kind of hibernation mode for death. It pays to wait a day or two/try heating them up just to make sure. Not that I'm denying that Jake is really gone, you understand.
No, just the one dead guy in my freezer. We are burying hm in his pod (his little nest area) next to the cat I had from age 2 to 13 (my years, not hers).

My daughter had a dear pet rat named Jenny, and she lived to be 7! I was surprised how I felt when she died!
Rats apparently have extraordinary life spans! I also heard of a significantly long lived pet rat.

Hamsters *can* hibernate whenever, but it is supposed to be related to temperature. They come from the desert originally and don't like things to be cold. They can hibernate when it gets colder, and the only real sign is a little heartbeat and slow breathing. I would have given quite a bit to hear a little heartbeat or breathing.

Jai - how did you find about the cancer in the rat? I always wonder if they get vet visits or what. I also have heard that they are prone to tumours/cancer, maybe because of all the stesting over the years?
She grew a tumor on her shoulder, and we have a great vet clinic with one vet who specialized in the exotic animals- he was eager to try, so we gave it a go, and it paid off.
Not sadder. If my lungs worked properly right now, I'd feel pretty good. I am focusing on his cuteness as opposed to his death. Got a dentist yet, TO? :)

Haha, Emma was very jealous even though he was here first. She would lunge at him occasionally while we had him out but then she got in trouble so she learned to glare at him from afar. There are even some shots of them being friendly.

when i was stationed in DC, i opted for the night shifts so i wouldn't have to be out in the humidity.

Winters here as as dry as the summers are humid.

When I was in Vegas in the summer I overheard people ordering cabs to take them a couple of blocks down the street. I thot it was ridiculous to be so lazy.
i was back there again a few years ago... a friend was involved in a trade show. menswear. (she edits a retail magazine for the business) and She had the room, and all these parties to go to. I just hung out at the pool, read my book and gawked at the freaks. then met her in the evenings for the parties.

jilli was an hour ago and i didnt get it at all. i dont have the 10s. the endings are getting me messed up. it is sc the boss of Bob and how many letter is that? then it was another word the es 6 and i again was confused by how many letters. any enlightenment would help plz.
