jes, i don't see how you vote on the petfinder site . . .
no, une, you go to theanimalrescuesite.com
petfinder is sponsoring it, but theanimalrescuesite is hosting it
did that -- was able to view 2008 winners but didn't see a place to vote . . .
some strange ones tonight
if you click the purple donate button, it'll go to another page that says thanks for your donation, and has a banner at the top that says vote today
(you don't actually donate, you click and advertisers donate)
yes, i know -- i've been clicking for years :-)
click the "vote today" button, and it'll go to anoter page with a search for your shelter
you can probably find one local to you, but i'd not be hurt by you voting for Wayward Creatures in Washington :)
did it! voted for Nashville Humane Assn!
so you can vote every day?
you can vote daily :)
if so, I'll be sure to vote for Wayward Creatures!
on the first page, there's actually an option to set up daily email reminders
i just did that LOL!!
fireworks
excellent :) thanks!
yay, dart!!!
well done, dart
Congrats Dart!
yay dart!
just need the top left A for NBT... stats for the words that come off it, anyone?

oh, before i forget -- crazy story -- i stopped on the interstate today at a BP station and while I was filling up, a guy walked over and showed me a knife and asked if I wouldn't like to buy it for a Xmas present!!!

Well, goodnight if there's anyone here -- 65 left
nite, jilli
hello - any clue for in 7 and 8
in8 carved italian jewellery (I think!)
yes - it is - carved in relief
tx lynxx googled it and got it
never to old to learn
We have a shopping channel on our cable which occasionally 'flogs' this type of jewellery. I knew there was a use for it!
Have 30 left and found first one ending tion
TY hadn 't even noticed that ending
di 7/32 - help please!
di + *****glycerine
ty
TY BabRab - that's a new one
hi Dipp
hi lynxx - not usually here now - no voice (cheers all round!) so not at church!
You only go for the singing?
nah - like to sing but not so good (lol) but was supposed to read amd am quite germ ridden.......
not THE flu I hope
no - just a heavy cold - need to be fit for tomorrow - so resting (in theory anyway)
hi all
hi Ardilla!
hopefully, i will be visiting Sydney and NZ in about 3 weeks
You have leave? I haven't seen you for so long, are all your health problems over?
yeah, i haven't taken any for almost a year
i got off the crutches about 2 months but work has been sooo hectic
and i have a bf; he's a sailor
my icon is me at the Navy Ball
very glam too!
what service are you with?
ty
the Air Force
just found the gerund ending :)
and found a dr8/55
sooo many gerund ends
and a tr8/55
also got br8 (just got the 3)
thx ish
8's that is!!!
there is an in8 - clue at 2.54
Brolga - a well known Australian bird - obviously not so well known to enable!
good morning gang
It's be interesting to count up all the -ing ending when we're done. There are a lot.
You can make it from two direction, which helps. I don't think I've ever seen so many.
I just realized that I am totally alone in the World of Babble.
Hey Merk, you are never alone in babbleland
How are you doing. I was lurking cos only got few minutes to babble
This is one of those fun grids that you can add -ing to everything immaginable so you tend to keep your nose in the grid doing so.
In fact I just realized that you cannot even use an -ing in the chat box or it is likely to land you in the penalty box.
lol
or rather lol-ing
yea
just realised I hav been so busy with ing wds forgot to put in the root wds!
lol-ing ... I think the only place there are no -ing are ones that start with g and n.
good morning Merk and dinok
there is an no gerund from the bottom n Merk
and an nu
hi nono
Morning Nono
You are in for some great fun this morning.
my fav wd in the grid so far is the yo gerund
that was my first one
The di 6 is pretty funny, too.
hmmmm dont have that one
b/c it's not -ing
It's two itty bitty compound words that put together I've never used in daily speech
not seeing it yet
not getting that merk
found it
di = a groundhog likes to di- . He likes to di- very much, a ---
tyvm. I cd hav sworn i tried that.
And the in 8 has to be googled. It means carved Italian jewelry in relief.
The in 7 is a from of the word.
ty agn
I have enjoyed this grid (n company of course) so much I overstayed my 10min by an hour. bbl. have fun pplz.
bye ... I know what you mean
bye bye dinok
In addition to the many -ing, there is also tion and ion endings.
yes have a couple of those
Also -nge
i'm back...had to do laundry
hi Ardilla

new boyfriend; sailor
cool!
... and Fireworks!
yay, merk!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh - another ending 'oid'
Congrats Merk!
any clues for the di 7/32 please?
di & *****glycerine (BabRabs clue)
First three letters as the one above and below, then the 3rd vowel and the last three letters of the ni 5, 10
brilliant! thank you! :)
A much better clue lynxx.
last clue ... the ta 8 and to 8 both end with the same four letter word. They are compounds.
It's been nice chatting. See you tomorrow.
bye Merk
bye merk
halfway

Hello ardilla
I am halfway through and not finding this an easy grid..anyone have the gr7--prob. a gerund ending
gr7 ends kinda like the crying vegetable :-)
Hi Une!! Thanks!!!
morning, annie :-)
Hi Yne
hey, scrabs :-)
TY for that clue, Une. I, too, am finding this grid tough right from the start--words are not jumping out.
wonder how the babbler gathering in DC went last night . . .
And thanks for pointing out the gerund!
I thought the gathering is on for this afternoon
scrabbs, there are lots of gerund endings
oohh, thought it was last night -- never mind! :-)
scrabbs, i've got 30 gerunds . . .
Une, now I am confused but we will find out soon enough...I am sure it went off in style
you're probably right, annie :-)
i'm off the crutches, have a sailor bf, and still in okinawa
ardilla, sounds good
Seain posted on FB--dinner was last night in DC.
Nice, Ardilla.
oh, thanks!
my icon is me at the Navy Ball
Une, you are right.
If I click on icons with this desktop PC my PC freezes up.
ardilla, you are pretty
ty annie
from Seain's facebook page: Seain Gutridge Had a lovely lunch today with lil*monkey, jmcnrick, tomhundleyrn at Mama Ayesha's in Adams Morgan in Washington, DC. Another Babble meet-up is planned for late April or early May 2010 in Baltimore, MD. Pictures from the Saturday meetup will be posted on Sunday.

Happy Sunday to you all
hi Babblers!
Hi aloy
Hi Aloy!
Hi aloy
morning Aloy
Love your picture Ardilla
hi hego aloy
I see Broll in the grid. Today is special - our 40th anniversary (-:
Happy 40th Aloy
Happy 40th anniversary to both!!!!!
Congratulations Aloy. That's wonderful!
Happy Anniversary, Aloy!
Hi Aloy, and congrats. K says he remembers it like it was yesterday.
happy anniversary
Hi Broll
happy anniversary, aloy!!
Hi all.
lol. Hi broll! yup, I do too.. a few changes since then, eh?
hi broll
Hi broll
ty all for the good wishes (-:
Amen to that
Is Broll your husband, Aloy?
no, LOL... broll is a long-time friend
her hubby was in our wedding!
Oh, I have not seen Broll here before so I wondered if your husband just entered.
Aloy got me hooked on this game.
blame it on Aloy, lol
I think FM should be blamed as usual.
I often play at the flip. I don't chat much - too slow a typist. Besides, I am the "official" lurker.
Wow, that gerund really makes the 7's come.
yup, broll has lurking down to a science..(-:
Happy Anniversary Aloy, 40 years is something to be proud of
Oh, yes, FM should be blamed, no matter what!
ty, Nono.. lotsa water over the dam..
i know what you mean, we celebrated 42 last month
Congratulations to you and hubby, Nono!
ty Annie
Is your spider bite all better, aloy?
wow, congrats to you both too!
thanks so much
healing, broll.. looking yucky as old skin peels and new grows in
A spider bite, oh dear. How are you, Aloy?
hope I got some magical spider powers out of the experience, lol
I'm fine, Annie... but it was a bit scary
Grats Nono :)
what kind of spider was it Aloy? I hope not a brown recluse
I can imagine.
ty kalyn
Like maybe becoming a superBabbler?
brb need to help hubby with something
Aly is alreasy a super babbler
I'm not sure what it was, Nono.. but the bite did not look like one from a Brown recluse.. tho I did NOT feel it.. yup, Broll... that must be it!
Aloy
aww, hego.. (blush).. I can say I'm a Babble addict for certain
Come on, don't be modest, now.
broll... are you at the library or what?
On the laptop in NC. K watching tv next to me.
ah so, glad you can Babble from there.. (-:
Hey, I made that a condition of ever coming down here right from the start!
Good afternoon babblers... can anyone clue the di7 please ;o)

Thanks Aloy
Hi scrabble
Hi Norma and Katie
Hi Scrabbler hows things
much better thanks norma, just waiting for Bry to finish ordering my xmas pressie on the internet then we are off to the garden centre
Aloy--does your "spider bite" look like a bo**? MRSA infections are commonly called "spider bites". MRSA = type of Staph
ooh, just got a message that "a Trojan has been removed".. first time for that
tailor
Just been up to Planters the Christmas Decorations are amazing
I am on call for the weekend and just got paged--fever phobia is #1 reason for phone calls. I always tell parents: fever is our friend; it means the army is doing its job fighting off the bad guys.
broll, to the pb with you!
What is he ordering for you ??? Or is it a secret lol
lol that is where we are going to buy some decorations, was it busy?
Ruru would make some funny comment to follow that, Aloy!!!
oops, pb for me! See why I don't chat? Sorry. Back to lurk mode.
it's secret but he is working from a list!!
And thanks for the word.
It was heaving ... Santa has a grotto so it is full of little people
no Scrabbs... it first was very red, burned.. on top of right hand.. spread to blotches on fingers.. swelled up, very puffy, then blisters appeared, "burned" area turned darker, etc.. has been eight days
hmmmm I won't tell bry that lol
Sounds sore Aloy ..
ahhhhhh in the pb again
I wouldn't he might not want to go lol
It's okay. Broll is in there too.
exactly, I just told him you thought it was great ;-)
lol, i needed that ta word, broll ... ty! (waves to broll in pb)
Very selective information.... I like it ... never quite got the hang of that lol
I must go start my other day. di 7 clued at 8:26. Bye dear babblers
we are keeping each other company lol
ooh, ty Annie... and hagd!
right off to planters, see you all later!
Bye Annie

Hi JBV, Sprite, Michnick!
Cute icon, Sprite
Ahh got it! THanks all
hi Scrabs, and thanks :)

hello Kaplan.. nice to meet you
Kaplan, did you finish yesterday?
true, kaplan
hi kaplan
I have 55 left. Last night I quit with 8 left. I was just too tired. Nice to meet you too.
Hey Sprite how are you doing? Was in Amsterdam two weeks ago and maybe going back in December?
Ah, too bad.
It just got too frustrating
how nice, Marc! Doing ok, relatively speaking.
And my OCD isn't such that I HAVE to finish the grid...
The gang would have got you through.
No I don't have to finish either. I just enjoy doing.
okay, last load of laundry is done and so am i with 55 left
good night all
Go Ardilla!
hi and bye ardilla - nice to see you again

I'd love to see one
lol, can't help but think of nose hairs
lol
*giggles*
is my god-puppy behaving, sprite?
as good as can be expected from a 10 months old pup! He is testing the limits and loves every minute of it. Pretty intensive but so very very worth it... and he is sweet as ever.
how's the house training?
oh perfect, he had that part down within a few months.
smart pup!
yeah and a good breeder. They trained them from the start and it showed.
how are things at your's?
*minus apostrophe, I believe in retrospect*
okie dokie, sprite.. tho I wish the northerners would keep their cold air out of Fla... I actually am wearing a sweater this morning
send us the cold, it is Winter here. We should be ready for it by now, lol.
it's a beautiful fall day here in New Jersey - sunny, cold, some leaves are still falling
Must be oak leaves
sounds good, JBV. Fall is the loveliest season to me.
yep - the maples are bare
I agree.. I love the Fall
does anyone have a clue for the U - all I have is un5 and ur4
un5 x 2 for sure
same here, JBV
and un4

i do that a lot Aloy
That's a word?
this grid is bad that way. Lots of words that can be made from more than one tile. Or almost.

'morning all (another anniversary, crossy? nice to hear in these times)
morning welki and congrats Crossy on the anniversary
hi, nanette
<--- is planning a meal for supper crossy might like. bacon-wrapped prawns sauteed with butter, garlic, wine ... finished with a little cream and parmesan, served over spaghettini with steamed broccoli rabe
helloooo, mr. cholesterol!
mmm sounds good welki
i try to keep it sort of healthy during the week ... but i've changed my mind lately about margarine, artificial sweetners and other "lite" products ... my (absent) figure will no doubt suffer *lol*
the artificial stuff is worse for you in some ways anyway - your body isn't made to deal with fake fats.
i was the one who said i've got 30 gerunds :-)
hello, hurshy and une
my last word di 7,32 -- please
is crossy still here? thought about him yesterday -- NPR had a segment on candles for men: Mandles -- one was bacon scented LOL
hey, welki
was just getting ready to count them Une
di + ni5/10
di + *****glycerin or what you might take for chest pain
hello? i assuage your conscience and all i get is hello? i was expecting a "wow, that makes me feel so much better, hursh!" :)

:O
off to watch trophy presentation -- BBL!
clue for the di/7/32 please
di + ***** glycerin
TY welki, got it.
yw ... off to make breakfast
Sarah Palin dropped out of a 5k race on Thanksgiving Day in Kennewick, Wash. The former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Governor quit the race because she wanted to avoid the crowds that were waiting for her at the end, BUT SHE ANNOUNCED ON TWITTER THAT SHE'D BE RUNNING! Accckkkk!
she seems to be quite the quitter
sorry if i've offended any of her fans hereabouts . . .
she does seem to follow a pattern, doesn't she?
she has fans?
indeed!
somewhere.. how many books has she sold?
apparently . . . and they're turning out in droves at all the bookstores
Her fiction seems to sell ..
there cannot possibly be Palin fans here...we read and know words
ummmm...
altho I loved the TV segment last week where they interviewed an employee at an NYC bookstore -- the store had bought 7 copies to have on hand! LOL
you'd be surprised.. there are bound to be some, but certainly a minority here
dorens, you're currently residing in France??
nrkii is ummmming...
sorry, but some of the comments are a little over the top to me
another gerund!!
i assume you're referring to Palin's comments . . .
wish i were une. my friend who died recently (and is the only one who called me dorens) just had his ashes brought to aix-en-provence... so i'm visiting him
coming from a family full of very smart people who happen to be right wing conservatives, I don't appreciate the 'right wing' = stupid equation
so sorry, dorens -- you know, that's where I studied and it's my ex's hometown
william f.buckley---need i say more?
even under the guise of "palin fans = stupid"
yes, une... hence the aix in unaixoise.... we may go there this summer actually
i thought it was more, palin can't put a coherent sentence together, so people who love words don't like her. but perhaps i am putting a generous interpretation on.
hope you get to make the trip -- beautiful part of the world
thank you Dorens... I'm not saying there aren't a whole lot of stupid right-wingers out there, but I think on balance it's about equal in terms of which party draws more stupidity
nrk, do you find that the intelligent conservatives are embracing palin? i thought not
Hello again folks. I got busy with beeper going off, newspaper, phone call from mother, newspaper, making French toast...
hurshy, I think that's pretty generous, at least how I was reading the way the conversation was going
Dorens, some are, yes
i stay away from all politics ,get less headaches and nose bleeds that way;0
hello again, scrabbs
hey, crossy, did you see my post about bacon-scented mancandles?
hi scrabbs.. enjoying not working on sundays?
not because they consider her a rocket scientist, but because she is a no-bulls**t personality, which some conservatives would like to see more of
hi scrabbs!
i wonder what buckley would have thought of her
lol,i have a pair of candles une, when you burn them both next to each other it is supposed to smell like a blt;))
I am on call this weekend so worked in the office from 8:30-1 yesterday and have been on call since. I slept very well all night though!
is she really a no bs personality, or is that the image she is carefully putting out?
hadn't heard of Mandles till NPR did their segment yesterday LOL
Dorens, I don't know, but I think she plays to the right as a no bs personality
not sure what the true person is for so many of these figures
they also sell "wet dog" and "burnt gunpowder" LOL
she scares me
first politician to fill 70% of thier promise list wins;)
let's get back to the whose kitty is the most pretty fight
oh, and "rawhide"
lol une
anyhow, sorry to kick back a bit
don't own a kitty
no censorship in the chog, nrkii
I apologize. Apparently I was wrong.
speak your mind.... all points should be examined
I'm not a big Palin fan... haven't made up my mind about her, but I really don't care if she ran her race today or not, and I really don't want to feel like my family/friends or I am being called stupid...
candy, no apologies needed!!!
i want a candle that smells like that elusive woman smell that a man may sometimes find by nuzzling her neck, clean, warm, and just a elusive hint of some fragrance..;0
ooohhhhh
I am not angry about it, just wanted to chime in before anyone said anything that did make me angry
smart nrk
I've resolved to be a little less quiet in the coming year
about this stuff
crossy, meanwhile, I'm enjoying this candle conversation
Hey, kids, look what I am planning to do next August, for fun, adventure and to honor my later friend, Mary. http://joiacs.webs.com/mtmarcy.htm
what do you call 100 politicians at the bottom of the ocean?....a good start
Hello all
impressive, scrabbs!!
hey, pinny
Hi Pinny
that looks great scrabbler!!!
wow scrabbs,, perfect for you!
i think i've heard the same but with "lawyers" in place of politicians :-)
why are lawyers and politicians safe swimming in the ocean?..because sharks dont eat thier own kind;)
My sister found out about the climb and I SO want to do it!
if they invent that "elusive woman scent" do you think they'll also make the equivalent elusive man scent?
i don't think there is any hope for the US anymore. china's the rising power and we're the fading one. our political system is so gnarled up that it doesn't matter who's elected anymore.
of that im sure nrkii
hurshy, I'm quite concerned that you're right
i think in the woman, it was the scent that was elusive... with men, it is the man who is elusive
we like to be mysterious dorens;0
lol dorens
i agree with you hurshy to a point... but it still matters who is elected here
democracy is like a strainer - it needs to get completely cleaned now and then or the holes all get clogged and nothing can get through at all.
il6 help please?
a shame. when i was growing up we thought we were so lucky, and the future looked so bright. for the last ten years at least it gets dimmer and dimmer
if they accepted ghetto talk, it would be illing
il + note dark
*not
ty une!
ty une
ty une
yay, another grey tile!
yw :-)
10 to go -- BBL -- pups have that "need to go outside" anxious look :-)
TY, Une
is di6 a gerung?
the i's are causing me trouble...
no, di6 is a strange sort of compound word
yeah i'm missing 3 top i's
glad to hear that nrk... was wondering what is wrong with me
if you want to use a shovel to get to china, you have to di* a ***
I'm missing in7 and 8, and the io6
it's like poly- , nrk, but with only two :)
io6 like that il6 we got from une
thx nrkii
on a side note i have a friend who has a scary i.q and she says"the best politicians, heads of state, kings, presidents, mayors etc are those that never asked for the position but were asked to take it"...lol it just popped into what passes for my mind;0
well my bottom i is grey at least, thanks
oh, that makes sense hurshy
my pretty mitty kitty is grey too
true enough crossy... what politicians need to go through to attain the power that they want generally taints them to some extent
my pretty kitties are too hursh
dorens to the pb!
my black kitty is best
ooh thanks hursh, didn't have that one yet
i thought sure the 8's would all just happen as i went, with the -ing, but i only have half of them. :(

think of TNT ... then use the appropriate bits for DN(t)
di + first part of TNT
di + *****glycerin
ty torgone, fireworks for me
or should I say thanks all
congrats, Locks!!
Yay Locks!
ata - when i went to my aunt & uncle's for thanksgiving, my cousin had brought with her her 2 month old kitten, oliver, and another aunt had brought a 6 week old, toby, who she's been taking care of since he was found abandoned at 2 weeks old (his poor 3 siblings hadn't made it). it was a cuteness fest.
I bet it was, hurshy!
awww! I can imagine! how lovely :):)
I've just achieved fireworks, myself, as it happens! (finished with the odd ai5 word)
di 6/27?
Congrats Locks + rbud!
though 6 week old kittens shouldn't be mingling before getting their jabs!
Hi Ruru
I am looking for that weird ai word too
but she couldn't leave him home alone...
morning scrabs
noooo, no little kits on their own
they'd have to share food, water or litter to pass FeLeuk or anything, wouldn't they?
i did immediately wash and change clothes on returning to MY cats though, in case of ringworm.
I think so. I'm sure 99.9% of the time these rules are just "making sure"
Yippe, I just passed halfway. And I can shower now as nephew is done upstairs. Then for a walk in the sun. Bye all.
you're such a good kitty mom, hurshy dear
bye scrabs!
di 6/27 to make a hole with a shovel + a large quantity of something
thank you luv
well in a way it's more for my sake than anything. having had one bout with ringworm before, i think vets ought to tell every cat owner about ringworm. it's a simple precaution to take and a HUGE pain in the rear if they get it.
absolutely!
do some vets not do that? that sucks
weird ai5 word = ai + 1st 3 letters of martini garnish
i hadn't been told about it before my cats had it. they don't tell you anything except how to deal with a problem once you have it.
gah! we all get told about teh various worms when they are little kits
OH crap (**** smacks forehead ***)
guess you got it, ru? ;)
considering listing with 11 to go
thanks rb..
I don't believe it .. I tried everythign
that's why I couldn't find it to help you ... I already had it *sigh*
hmmm, just checked def, "garlic flavored mayo" - sounds tasty!
oh yes, it's gorgeous stuff
a staple in southern france rbud
a staple here!!!
why haven't I ever tried it? wonder if the local store might have any...
just add crushed garlic adn mayo :)
ahh, that I could do!
go to a restaurant that has mediterranean foods and you will find it
the stronger the better
garlic, mayo and a sqeeze of lemon
and it tastes good with pretty much everything
I am down to 4 and cannot find them
argggh
chocolate??
somehow thought the word might mean something to do with pulmonary structure, but much nicer than that.
enough mayonaise and you will clog a pulmonary structure though
lol, hursh!
which 4, ru?
but good ai5 is almost worth it
ti7/28 is killing me
it's a glacial deposit, ru. feel happier now? :P
t + an earlier 6 letter word
ti + dbl cons. + mineral ending
yay 7s done
thank you
name that Tolkien elf .... :P
no arwen, no galadriel, no legolas, no elrond... i think i'm tapped
LOL Gildor
and who is he?
he met the Fellowship near the start of the books and cheered them up a bit. And then rode off never to be heard of again, much
Gildor Inglorion
Inglorien even
I was trying "Boro..." - but wasn't he a dwarf?
from Rivendell
yes but who IS he, how does he relate to the others
wasn't gildor killed in the second book?
boromir was a man
Boromir was a grumpy man
from rivendell. friend to frodo
he's from Rivendell. LOL. no family ties known
i thought tolkein always gave the family ties
not when he was feeling awkward, no
I am waving the white hankie and need the io 6/18
but with a name like Inglorien, one could hypothesise than he may have Vanyar blood somewhere
don't you feel better for knowing that :P
io + not heavy
tyvm
speaking of ignorance, i am getting tired of people asking what it means that my bumper sticker says "my other car is a TARDIS"
(now just waiting for someone to clue LI 6/24)
pff!
ok, then I won't ask
if they don't know that, they don't deserve to know :P:P
but you must remember not everyone here watched drl who
Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space
when a woman wants surgery for no more kids, they do a tubal li***ion - use the verb form.
li + fence openeing
oh geez.
ways miss that one
thank you dorens
you're welcome ruru
did you really know William Buckley well?
?? i didn't know him at all... but was aware of his amazing verbal capacity, and I did admire him, while secretary of high school chapter of SDS
while I am not conservative.. he was a very brilliant man
exactly
hello all
hi asl
I thought maybe I was invisible. =0
oops, meant that as a smile, =)
hi all
hello jmc
W. Buckley was smart, but I hated his rich, smug demeanor
he was interesting to watch but you are right he did sound smug
but i wonder how much that was accent since many people thought Jimmie carter and Clinton were dumb because they had southern accent
He came from the rich part of CT [where I have lived for 37 years] and just oozed old money
does that mean you are rich ;-)
was Bush only dumb cos he had a texas accent?
Anyone who lords their vocabulary over his guests turns me off. I loved to watch "Firing Line" just to work up venom toward him
he didn't actually have a Texan accent -- there are 5 distinct regional Texas accents and he did not have a one
he had a made up accent
Buckley didn't make me that mad -- O'Reilly makes me that mad
I was in college then, majoring in Sociology and staying "clean for Gene [Eugene McCarthy]
ah Clean for Gene -- I remember it well
I spent my Spring Break, April 1968, campaigning for him in Levittown, PA
what sort of clean were people staying?
Not using drugs
not looking like a hippie and not using drugs
ohhh
*sticks a flower in in my waist length hair*

Hi lynn - Forget about prudishness...Its ME!!!
Aha!! You may preserve you prudity!! I got it. Thank you!! :)
is the di 6 related to restricting food?
no, but it is a compound
sounds like it might be a communal garden popular in England
Nope! Nothing to do with that! More to do with making a hole in the ground, very very much!!
making a hole in the ground? differently than the di7?
i think it a phonetics word?
di6 actually is a person who speaks 2 languages
time to whip some cream
ah, excellent. thanks dan, that got it
Sorry if I gave you a bum steer Jes!
np - can anybody clue the ai5 - monkeys on fritz
AI 5/10 - the teeny little branches off the lungs
's okay, soodle. :)
ah, where the phlegm's been accumulating this week. tx soodle
eewww
Too Much Info!!!
ai5 is a mayonaisse like sauce with garlic
ai5 is NOT phlegmish!! :P

alveoli = tiny sacs where respiration occurs
*snerk* very punny, ata ;)
LOL
hello everybody
Haha, Ata

Hi jacq
hi scrab, jac
You're thinking of alveoli
lol ata
hi Jaq and Scrabs and funny Ata
any more jokes? i need a laugh like a fish needs water
Yes, quite a difference between mayo + lungs
ease off though, soodle's clue is how i got the word, i just happened to know what it meant because i asked my (foodie) bf a couple weeks ago ;)
not really, not if the lungs are less belgian, then they are both slimey
Could be awkward if you offer to bring the wrong thing to a party.
we strive to be anatomically correct here in babbleland
LOL true sally
Oh and PB for everyone using the lu4 ..
Yep, Dan
party in the PB!
*sprinting off to the PB, hoping to find lunch*
ooops slopes off to the pb with my huge tin of roses
and thanks for the lu4
Soodle hangs head in shame, and goes voluntarily to the PB, even though not actually guity of PB offence. Maybe self-imposed sentence will encourage fellow babblers to forgive her!
Boy, I'm a jerk today ..
oh soodle, you will always be forgiven in babble
And! I heard there were Roses there.........
awww Soodle we loves you
hands out choclits
Phonetically you were rather close, Soodlebum.
the tin is huge but the roses are fewer by the minute
Smug Soodle Smirk!!
Are we talking Roses choclits here? mmm
oh yes sally
Despite huge lunch I could probably manage just one more ..
first ai6 clue please--gerund ending?

thats because they tasted like lavender
they were foul
Never tried fairy liquid :-) But they were so SWEET!
yes
somehow they just tasted soapy sweet ICK
I remember purple candy, violet name, that tasted like perfume smells
Wonder if they're still made.
yes. ick ick ick
yes sally
I am sleepy now after my long hike into the park. I found a new hiking branch/stick--with lichen growing over one side.
Give as a raffle prize perhaps? Then they would be one of those raffle prizes that does the rounds at every raffle.
I still hate that violety perfumey sweet smell
I have very sensitive senses--causes me troubles
i remember as a kid in glasgow i got a whole wagon wheel to myself, it was huge, bigger than my face and i sat behind the sofa and ate the whole thing
the only times I've ever fainted have been when I've been standing by very sweet ferny perfumes
Do they still make those violety sweets? I havent seen them in years
i was as sick as a dog and even the sight of the packjaging now makes me feel nauseous
I think we're all agreed then - no parma violets or strawberry creams in the pb!
yes soodle
agreed
absolutely!
I remember when I loaded too much sugar on my porridge (down, Scots!) and my father made me eat it all. I didn't touch porridge for years.
i sugar my porridge to heck with eating bland glue
and worse yet if it's salty YUKKKKKKKK
Jac, one time on holidays, my family hired a caravan in possibly the wettest location in the Western world. I blew my whole holiday savings on a packet of bikkies (Kimberly), and scoffed the lot on the top bunk of the shared bedroom. I have never been able to look a Kimberly biscuit in the eye ever since!
Actually soft brown sugar is cream is nice :-)
lol
i feel your pain soodle
Don't know Kimberlys.
Ooh, just googled. yummm.
Oh! A most exotic concotion of ginger biscuits with an uber-sugary confection in between 2 biccies. My teeth hurt just writing about them!!
back, sorry. my mum stopped in unexpectedly
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm sugar

bye, lynxxx
Glad thate isn't an S, or I'd never finish. Just 19 left now.
and the t's were good too
hi all. i actually thinki the gerund part of it is fun...then again, there are still a bunch of words that I never would have known before today.. but that seems to be the way the grids have been lately
bye, lynxxx
hi doren
Hello again Doren
agreed dorens, and hello
Sorry, thate sb there
un7 help please
sorry, that's one of my 13 impossible words today... still struggling with them
I am just looking for that myself
Dorens, so there are only 13 impossible words. That is good news.
Splutter. Just got the tr 5 and 8. Haven't seen one of those today!
un7 - start with a single item and add how old it is
thanks vi... was just about to morewords it
thanks, vic
Aha! TY, Vicuna! There are 2 ways to make un** and I didn't know which way to go
ty vi
You're welcome.
VIIII!!!!IIII!!!!!11111!
ty ty ty vic
There are at least two ways to make practically every word int he grid today!
Hello, Ata! How goes it?
There are 3 ways to make un**
just finished scanning latest creation
by the way ata, that is a marvelous pretty kitty photo
Let's see it, then! =D
it's best friend's big fat cat Trouble :)
ok, let me see if I can get it to look ok as a babble icon
That IS a fat cat!
he's 18lb
first un5--is 3rd letter g?
my goodness!
he's big rather than fat really!
no
first un5 sounds like the crying veggie
hello all, need a break from thinking. how is the grid today?
I see it now--twisty. TY, Jacq
there. it doesn't look great squished so small though ....
very twisty indeed
It requires a lot of thinking, Stid.
Hello, stidmama.
okay, refreshing...
that is a beautiful picture, atalante!
yellow
hey vi! how's everything out your way? did your last show go well?
it is in real life! doesn't look so great here but ...
hi stid, kje :0
Beautiful, Ata!
Lovely. The middle is very quilt-like.
hm. twisty thinking. *sigh* at least it's not the history of schooling...
hey jes
Hello, stidmama. Yes, the fall show went much better than the spring. Holiday sale this weekend, too, but that's usually pretty small. Thanks for asking!
How's your way? STill the usual too much work?
good. I will hope for you to have another good weekend!
ai 5/10 and at 5/10 plaese
(I should say the holiday sale is NEXT weekend. I'm just thinking ahead already, I guess.)
at 5 is to do with islands
ai 5 is a mayo like sauce with garlic
a and what you pay to cross a bridge
yes, a LOT of work piled on in honor of our week "off" *exasperated mama look* -- some of the work could have been assigned weeks ago so we could budget our time better. still. it's over for the quarter in two more weeks!
thx guys
ai5/10 - scramble up a slew of vowels, it ends in an anagram of canola
thanks for that mayo - grayed the a
not getting the mayo clue
Yay! Will there be an *actual* break over Christmas/New Year's?
there's only one consonant in the whole word, jaq
poor overworked stid
yes, an actual break -- though I will be reading as much as I can to get ahead... you know how it is. another 40 books or so for the next quarter.
Sheesh. Poor overworked stid, indeed.
I can always drop out, I suppose, but I keep hoping things will get "better" if not easier. if they don't get "better" I don't know ... I don't mind work, I mind not knowing what I am supposed to be doing!
you're not dropping out...just hopefully better profs next semester?
Just keep plugging along. The challenge for you, Stid, is that you have other roles to play besides being a student.
But do you feel that all the work is really teaching you something and getting you somewhere? Or does it seems like a stupid waste of time?
nope. same teachers for the whole two years. THIS is when it's not an advantage to have self-contained programs. Usually this sort of thing has worked well for me.
How many students are in the same program?
grad school is that way... much less structure, much more feeling your way, less guidance and more seeking the profs out... nature of the beast
an awful lot of education courses seem like a stupid waste of time.... even years later, when you're teaching, you wonder why????
no, this quarter has been mostly a waste of time. A clear set of lectures with "review questions" immediately after would have helped focus the learning. the rambling lectures with a sort of summative take-home test (absent clear identification of the main ideas) does not work for me.
Which is why I taught at private schools without ever being "qualified," Doren! lol
always knew you were a smart gal, vi
No, that sounds bad, stid. I hope they have evaluations you can fill out. =P
ge5/16
plz
The "to" words are making me crazy
they should be responsive... if others agree with you stid, maybe you can get them to listen
ge + robotic ending, tij
ANd I always knew you were a woman of discerning taste, Doren! ;)
thx alot
yes, there are evaluations, my question is whether to give a big down eval this quarter, or wait and see how things shake out.
finito!
YAY doren!!!!
I am betting you will feel differently a couple years from now, stid.... unless you are in an abnormally bad program... it wasn't until later that i really appreciated how much they made me think just by being so damned vague and nebulous - I often felt like they could have taught better, but in the end, realized I am a better thinker than many of my friends who went through very structured programs
BTW, not talking about med school, talking about grad school masters in epi
med school is nothing BUT structure
Yippee Doren!
thanks kje (((many hugs))) that is my hope, but right now... If that is their plan, I wish they would make it explicit!
yah, i figured that kj!
That's an interesting way to think about it, kje. Do you think they did that on purpose in your program, or just that you managed to make something good out of something bed?
well, I susopect they would say they did it on purpose - LOLOL
LOL since we are learning to be teachers of children, and since I KNOW that children benefit from structure, I would prefer them to model those practices!
stidd, my grad work in counseling was particularly ridiculous.... we had to dig for everything, read the books and dig, which helped us learn to be resourceful, which is necessary in education. Was told later on it was helpful, but i think the prof (there were only two in the program) was just a lazy old bean
I went to JHU Bllomberg SPH - the top ranked program in the country, so I must believe they had some method to the madness, though while in it at times I wanted to shoot them all
*grin* I am SO glad I am not alone! thanks everyone!
stidkid #1 will be home soon... can hardly wait to hear how the trip went
where was he stid?
Vancouver BC with my parents
stid, our profs in first year vet school used to revel in telling us that school is like trying to take a drink out of a firehose. they're going to throw so much crap at you so fast that there is NO WAY you will get it all
well, adult learning theory is different than child... so it doesn't surprise me that they do not treat you like you are 10 stid ; )
how nice for him (and them)
lol and when you start your PhD, you get given a stack of books 2 foot high and told to come back with research ideas in a month or so :P
i am starting to suspect my raccoon is back again... anyone own a gun and know how to use it... and want to visit texas?
right jes! but what if the piece you miss is REALLY important? at least I won't have to worry about my students dying if I don't know how to teach the difference between alliteration and assonance!
to7.32 plx
or pls svp
PhD! you have GOT to be kidding.... *takes careful aim at atalante with pie*
to + put the *** on the jar and put it ** the refrigerator
you just gotta hope someone else caught it and will share before exams ;)
LOL stid

well, down to 110, and this discussion has actually given me an idea for one of the essay questions. SO.... thank you and I will be back later when my brain is ready to explode again. ((((((many many hugs))))))) LOL *poof*
i'm on my way out... any more clues first?
ty doren.

I'm very late with this today, I'll have to get caught up with words and what's been happening.
You could call her Silverclavinova, it trips nicely off the tongue and sounds vaguely Russian.
loooooool good one
Help please with first and last to6's?
first to is a sort of fishy gerund scrab (but one of my last words too)
last to6 is robotic
First is what you are doing with a line

id6 - what some people might say we are doing when we babble. As if this is a waste of time!
my smart cat lucy has not been in the house since thursday morning when calvin the whippet came to stay. he left at 11 and she just came in. She somehow knows when he is here and never even came to the door till just now

All's quiet today - we had the emergency line but nothing more exciting than a bull that couldn't get up and a man panicking about misalliance with his Yorkshire Terrier bitch.
pls help with ge5 thanks
oh dear! poor Yorkie!
and a bull that couldn't get up? goodness
think earth robot, speed
It hadn't been able to get up for a week but it's always a crisis on a Sunday.
I think I'd rather have a problem terrier than a problem bull....\
thanks har now my last g is the gr7 any help with that please
poor bull!!
you would have though the bull would have warranted a phone call before double rates on a sunday!!
wonder what all the farmers would say if they knew how fascinated we all are by their lives
gr+ UAW
Double rates on a Sunday? Farmers would be up in arms, it's the same call-out fee on a Sunday as any other day.
ty harp

I think ta8 has different meanings on each side of the pond
what does it mean there ata
to drive rly closely behind someone in an annoying fashion
it means that here too Ata
means that also but when you eat and party in the parking lot before a big game or sports events it means that too
but ppl do that specifically at football matches?
ohhhhh
ta8 here also means to party in the parking lot before a sports event or concert

oh Haz, I decided last night that you need to madke a cookbook
But you've never tasted my food!
never tasted Jamie Oliver's eitehr!
I know, but all the same. He has catchphrases and rides motorbikes.
well, unless we made fairy cakes or something at play school
Actually, we did have mint cheesecake today and I thought of you.
see? you have famous recipes :)
you coudl intersperse recipes with anecdotes from rural Irish life
like Nigella does
except she doesnt do NI
Nigella can simper and pout all she likes. Her husband doesn't eat her food. He prefers Weetabix.
her husband is very odd
Well, there's that, but it must be a bit of a kick in the teeth for a cookery writer if your husband won't eat the stuff you make.
did you see the start of Saatchi's School for Modern ARt or whatever it was called? Interesting programmes, Saatchi choses 6 people to mentor. But he refuses to be shown on camera
throughout the whole series
liek THe Apprentice with Alan Sugar only shown in shadow
But his name gets mentioned throughout. Clever use of the licence payers money.
oh yes
I watched a couple of old US apprentice episodes with Donald Trump's hair and him yelling. Why can't he just speak?
Or is he so used to living in vast rooms that he has to shout?

hello, Welki
lil*monkey, jmcrick, tomhundlyrn and i had a lovely time, thank you, welki.
we're planning for late April or early May 2010 in Baltimore, MD
what do Bogglers talk about?
so wonderful that Tom can enjoy such events so quickly after the surgery! I suppose it's not that quick, but still, it seems it
Evening, all. I found that if I make up a nonsense 4 letter word, and then add ing to it, sometimes it's a hit!
And sometimes not.
sorry, Babblers
ata, he and i had lunch with lil*monkey the week after we got home from the surgery. It really is amazing how fast. He goes back to work this week, too.
just incredible!
work! wow. the speed of these things is so amazing now
bichon, a wide array of things, our lives, art, medicine, music, food, places we like to visit.... not unlike here in the chog, really.
kaplan, so true. looking up the words truly reveals the variety and depth of the English language. And odd bits of French, Yiddish, etc
Wordsplay.net 's boggle dictipnary takes "oint" but this doesn't. I'm still adjusting.

in 7/8 is the reverse of a cameo
but we'll miss you while you're gone to essay

Hello again. 44 left. I have not liked this grid but I will try to finish.
I will miss you too jes! but trust me, better take it step-wise now than do an all-nighter in a week! LOL
hey again scrabs!
*thinking about what the reverse of a cameo is*
Hello, scrabs
Tom is baking apple pie this afternoon, will share with anyone who wants some!
i suppose that's true
not an incameo
i had to google it scrabs
1 of 7 uploaded
oooh! I GOT THE REVERSE OF CAMEO~!!!!!! *proud and surprised mama look*
*putting hand up to request apple pie*
What is the lu4 that doesn't have to do with breathing?
not a cameo appearance -- the pin
rhymes with short hit that baseball players do

Many thanks all.
hey, is ru around? ruuuuuuu ... clipped one of bax's nails too far and it's bleeding (a lot) ... applying pressure, have the cornstarch ready (which is what i used to use on birds' nails when i didnt have qwik-stop) ... what else can we do?
i did not get the in7 yet but I have been told the definition
ok, american people, seeing as someone mentioned sports, can anyone explain to me what a fly ball is pls!
i feel slow... can't come up with an opposite for cameo :(
jmc. I believed his name was Allan Funt
hey welki!
I didn't know he is a noun now
Rub bar of soap over nail
google it jes
in baseball, batter hits the ball high in the air, possibly with some distance also
cornstarch works, sugar can work too sometimes
fly ball = pop-up hit
cornstarch or flour.
hmm probably right peri lol!
oh ok ... I guess wed call it a skyer / skier. TY! I can picture that now :)
I would go with jes's answer...
you can put a bandage around the whole foot to keep him from tracking blood all over; it'll stop eventually on its own.
a fly ball is a ball hit hi and then caught
Go with Jess the vet!
oh jes! speaking of nail clippings.... GUESS WHAT????
bicarbonate of soda works too
what are you talking about jes!!!???
he let you without screaming and flailing?
blood -- nail clippings?
talking about clipping a nail too short, jam
YES! I cut ALL 10 of Lucky's toenails about three weeks ago!!! (the front, the back didn't need it)
di6--related to the di4 before it?
ouch
whoohoo!
he's a golden ... he's just lying here, happy to be fussed over (crazy dog)
good job, stid :) did he get cookies for each one that he was calm for?
He didn't actually 'let' me but I gave him 1 mg sudafed per lb of weight about half an hour before, then sat on him and talked gently but firmly. It worked!!!! and she still loves me!
LOL no, but he did get treats right away!
jes! i didn't even see you here ... ahhhh, i am relieved
hi welki
no it is not Scrabs
anyway, that is SO much progress, I am feeling quite successful.
if he'll take 'em, try giving him little treats the whole time, as long as he's calm. it's both reward and distraction in one :)
oh oh... I have passed halfway and didn't even notice. *sigh*
wtg stiddie
this grid is like that, stid
's okay, welki... more of a mess than a danger in a critter that large :)
oh, that's a good idea for next time. I think I'll try again when my quarter is over, that will be about 7 weeks in between.
aww. bye stiddy
so. I shall return in 20 minutes, another pair of essay questions under my belt. (((hugs all and doggie treats and choclit for appropriate species))) *mini poof*
if you can, you might try filing his nails with an emery board while they're not too long; just goes quick, no pinching or snapping, you can't quick him, and he gets used to having his toes played with with a little less stress
ok .. cornstarch on (bleeding through), paper towel, pressure ongoing .. treats would excite him, he's being a calm guy on his own
bye stiddie
the treats were directed at stid, sorry to confuse you welki :)
now just hold that pose for an hour! :P
yeah, most goldies just belly rubs is sufficient restraint :0
we used to use a dremel on our basset hounds, one loved it, one hated it ... the golden has always been clipped, but maybe time to change back
(old clippers broke yesterday, new ones (expensive) used today ... maybe it's just a learning curve, husband has never clipped too far before .. and he's feeling mighty guilty right now
bo5/14? the one after the pop sound
eh. it happens occasionally no matter how careful you are; especially since the dg doesn't seem fussed i would tell him not to guilt too much about it ;)
jes .. hints on bandaging, please. this is going to be tricky
?popping sound?
well... what kind of bandage material do you have?
french for 'box'
jmc, think french box
i have a good kit
(retired emt)
I don't know word in french for box
pretend you have a palm injury and wrap the paw up like a fist
alright. something soft/absorbent but not too bulky (maybe just leave the paper towel) over the end of the nails, then gauze around the foot up past the carpus. coflex over that, and white tape around the top to hold it in place
bo5,14 bo+ how many ***ms in your shopping basket
Monkey found it; list hepled
snug but not cranked tight; not looking for a tourniquet :)
Help with di6 please?
usually just leaving it on for an hour or so is sufficient.
and have more bandaging material to hand it case it leaks!
di6 is someone who speaks 2 languages, scrab
ty jes
dilingual, dilingo, ditongued
as in a poly****
think poli****
polynesia, polymer
di6 use a spade to di* + parking ***

good job zooz
TY, Zooz---new word for me!!
yw :-)
34 to go--must fetch some nutrition
clue please for di7/32 please??
so... i found an in7 and in8 that are reverse cameo... but i thought that clue was for the in6. i was confuse-ed.
di7 is 2 explosives
il6 please?
di7 di + what some cars use in games to make them go very fast
il + not heavy
thanks, ata
I do
I don't know what a reverse cameo is, unfortunately
i didn't either kaplan. google reverse cameo :)
update : carpet looks like charlie manson paid a visit. baxter is humoring me. using a latex glove over bandage, let's see how long it lasts
kaplan, cameo is an example of the in8 process - from Italian
I know that carpet look, welki!
heheh. get the carpet cleaner going now, before it sets, welki! :)
and be very VERY glad it wasn't an ear! you'd have spatters on your ceiling as well as your floor.
and why would you be clipping an ear?
Hey Babble Family :)
do ears often need trimming? :P
so what is reverse cameo a clue FOR? And the second google entry has another word on the grid.
trimming the matts in the hair behind it
in7 and in8, kaplan
ohhh!
hi aussie
hi, aussie
OH, I get it. I know that word from etching.
jmc, trimming hair, one may hit the ear itself
hi aussie
though usually when i've had bloody dog ears at home, it's because one dog tried to pierce the other dog's ear...
i have in8, but am not getting the apparently related in7
Ig, anyone?
Hey Ata, Seain, Kaplan, Jes, Welki, JMC, and anyone else I missed :)
Hello Aussie.
kaplan, that which causes burning
ah, found it :)
some one who starts fires kap
I thought that was the root- I just don't have the proper ending
just drop a letter, dc
so i found, jes, thanks :)
Oh , yeah. Thanks
baxter and husband are de-briefing each other on the couch ... so we're sitting there, i'm putting on the bandage and there's MORE blood! where the heck! from a back claw! these new clips are dangerous ... i bought a good pair instead of the cheap ones i bought before ... that's what i get for upgrading! calamity of errors ... bad sitcom ... visit from the spca *lol* (jess .. how long to keep bandaged? an hour? would hate to take off and have bleeding start again)
have to say this is NOTHING compared to when the kids raised 4H bunnies and one would clip too close
hahah. sharp cuts bleed more! they hurt less though, so that's sort of good?
eh. if he'll leave the bandages on the rest of the afternoon, it doesn't hurt to leave them on. but at least an hour so a clot can form
it's so horrendous, it looks like you've been murdering your pets, doesn't it
will he lick it off? (of course he will .. i just washed the sheets and blankets)
sorry to monopolize the chog, folks ... will gladly clue to make up for the intrusion
the clot? it should form inside the nail. usually once they stop bleeding they're good. but he'll probably lick all the blood and flour off from the hair between his toes
but don't start panicking if you do see little blood trails - when I did that to Hobbit, it bled on and off a little bit for a day
hi all, icon theme updated. St. Andrew's Day tomorrow, the national day of Scotland.
or the bandage? if he's trying to pull the bandages off, wipe some vick's vaporub on the front
no no if you have an emergency its fine
Hey Spritey !!
hey Aussie!
hmmm now i am torn sprite i changed my icon for tomorrow already with a poem
hi je .. we're past 'emergency' and have moved on to 'embarassing moment'
Vicks? What a wonderful idea
but I should support St. Andrews
alright, uploaded pix to my flickr, made a babble set, and you can click through from my profile :)
well that's okay too lol
these pets trust you with their lives and then we up and cause them pain ... humbles us in a big way
okay, back. *runs off to check out seain's flickr stream*
also uploaded a few pix of Feldspar.
lollll at the poem though! I like it.
stiddie! *hugs*
no permanent damage though, welki. you'll all recover :)
OMG. TOM HAS COLOR IN HIS FACE!!!!!!
and my tom just brought me chips and dip...
glad you like it -- it came to me watching t.v. today
*faint* SPRITE!!!!!!
welki, if it makes you feel better, when I cut Hobbit's quick, I was ready to give her away to a good home because I was such an evil person!!! So much angst
color in his face?
yes, as i he did right out of surgery, too. :) he's doing much better, and returns to work this week.
Mama !!!
jmc, you aren't even CLOSE to wearing birkenstocks and hemp clothing, are you? rofl
hey aussieme!
jes, go back in my photo stream, and you'll see what she means
Feldspar is soooo pretty
ty, ata
hi, sprite :)
heheh. you guys should have heard my cousin crying when she cut her daughter's toenail too short!
lol you thought i was an executiev hippie?
feldspar is indeed a lovely kitty
hi seain :)
I sorta did, jmc! LOL I had visions of dreadlocks and all!
how are you sprite?
hehehe.. thought you were asking about baxter .. his face is fine, husband's is a little pale ... but tom's looks wonderful :)
I once managed to get my son's baby fingers between the door. He just started going on all fours. I wanted to close the door, it didn't quite catch, so I gave a yank... yeah. Guiltridden.
dreadlocks! I am not a black panther or rastafarian!
when my human kids were small, i had a friend who was a neonatal nurse .. she cut nails for me
it's terrible the guilt we all put ourselves through!
owie, sprite -- but realistically, what loving mother hasn't dropped her baby on its head once or twice? *cautiously raising hand*
once my son got a HUGE splinter while crawling but i didn't notice it until the next day when he would crawl crawl ow crawl crawl ow
stiddie: scared for the week to come... too much in too short a time, re-assessment for my invalidity benefit... heeeeeelp!
many many people around here have dreadlocks, though I admit not many professionals. *grin*
hello Ata!
*sings 'no woman no cry* in a weak attempt to get je to go rasta (or at least buy a bob marley cd)
oh gee sprite! *sending POWERFUL good thoughts for benefits to continue*
{{Sprite}} Hope all goes well for you Honey...
awww poor son, jmc, lol.
actually my german intern has blond dreads
I have an overwhelming desire to brush his hair
**buffalo soldier, dreadlock rasta**
thanks all :) Such positive thoughts should make all the difference.
*hugs spritey*
yes jmc, I often do also! kids!
I have serveral bob marley cds ty welki
sprite, i'm sure it will go well. Try not to stress too much about it.
are you looking in the mirror, practicing looking pitiful, sprite?
yeah i felt like a terrible mother not to have noticed sprite
I think (rationally) that when you take care of someone intensively, it is inevitable to goof up occasionally. But when I am the one goofing up and my dog or child is the victim, I feel soooooo bad and evil.
<-- ran over her daughter's foot
omg i think you win welki!
stiddie, I am such an awful liar... can only tell the truth. Which is bad enough, but god I hope they will listen.
parenting is like that, I think -- the really good parents have the guilt when they mess up.
i once shut my great-grandmother's hand in a car door. :/
argh welki, with a car??
or lose, depends on how you look at it *lol* she was fine, no injury
yes, a car
ouch seain, that is awful too. You must have felt bad.
oh oh seain -- I bet she was hopping mad!
my dad closed the hood of the car on my thumb
when I was young, we used to spend a lot of time in a nature reserve that my parents were wardens for. They don't feel the cold. They always thought I was whinging when I said I was freezing. Now mum realises I wasn't ... so I spent half my childhood shivering. She feels suitably guilty LOL
i closed a car door on my sister's hand
that is one of the worst things, getting between the car hood or door. Eeks.
update: both asleep on couch, both snoring
hello 20 to go
my mom sent my brother to school with pnemonia - he still talks about it
Hello. Wont stay too long. Sprite make sure all your paper work is intact and bring everything neatly in a folder they get a bit over welmed at that much paperwork
yeah, but which sister, jmc?
hi harp
I stabbed my hand making a penny jar for my Sister :)
stid, she had been a kindergarten teacher, and handled it well. I was 6 or 7 at the time.
and hi everyone
I was going to saym 'Hello' but there are too many violent people here. :-(
\oops, wasn't meant to be a smile...
grandma, however, was livid
I closed (and locked) the car door on my own hand once when I had two young children with me. In an underground parking garage. With the keys in the car. *sigh* that's just feeling stupid though, not guilty
LOL Jac
lol.... Hey Jacs..
jac, pix from babble meet-up in my flickr
hi jac
hey stud! join the tragic parade!
hey JAC!
hi lady and Jac!
aww, it's my day!
i made my 5 year old walk on a broken leg for several days - the doctor said it was just sprained
and stud
not violent jac -- talking about accidents with kids pets and other loved ones
Hey Stud !
hi, stud and good
good idea lady, will do that
hugs to your spritey
ooh. almost missed lady's entrance! *waves vigorously*
hi good!
HERRRRRRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNN !! Pounce !
hi there, tragic, have not seen you here in a while
awwww Good E, that is a very bad memory! Did it come out ok in the end?
hi periwinkle, thanks :)
Hey Peri :)
aww, hi lady :)

*dang note to self stealth is better*
wow. chat's going so fast i can't keep up!
hi, herin, good advice
that's rough, good. but you have to go with what docs say, don't you?
hi tagic
hi trag, aussie, peri, good, everyone
and herin!
*tragic
yeah- going through a breakup - i've been hiding
i'm trying to come back
is herin here?
Yeah -when she refused to walkand kept complaining we finally got an xray. OOoops!
Hi, popping in for a second before I race off to bed. Does anyone have the gr 7, it is my last g and driving me nuts.
Howdy I have been absent for an age but there was so many people I haven't seen in an age
it's amazing how this community stays the same - it makes me so happy
peri, i found that perfume!! lovely! i liked it even more after it had been on my wrist for a couple of hours! (but i think i've fallen for warm vanilla sugar)
gr + the flag ***** Jack.
ahh, thanks Sprite.
**snugs for Herin**
hi mich
these are funny, at least if you know about US fast food and breakfast cereals. http://tinyurl.com/ycb28k6
ty for the twofer, sprite
glad you like it, I like the vanilla noir too
my younger son broke the same arm (different places) near the wrist twice in 9 months a few years back. The second xray was not completely indicative of a break, but I ended up insisting we cast it and treat it as if it was (wristbones don't always heal properly) just in case.
hi, mich
this is a nice place to be when you are going through a rough time, stud.
aha! smelly little fish clue! thanks for that gr sprite
hey mich!
my pleasure :D
Nice pics dcs.
(((((tragic)))))) break ups are tough
Sprite if you are not organised just spend 15 min putting all the paper work together.
thanks, jac
hi herin
Jac, your icon is brilliant :)
Hey all, and bye. I got a-g but the i's will just give me a headache, so I'm off to bed with 60 left. ;-( Good night friends.
44 to find. I'd better dive in.
*singing loudly* BREAKING UP is HARD to DOoooooooo......
hi/bye mich
O TS your grrl seemed so nice. Sorry huggles. Yes I am here so many people
when i broke my arm I went in thinking i'd broken the other one... they xray'd both to see the difference, and i left with a cast on the other arm
I will, lady, and I will insist he gets in touch with my psychiatrist.
and yeah... breaking up is terribly hard to do
*wink at stud* but choclits make it all better, right? *offers lovely truffle choclits*
night Mich, sleep well
she did, didn't she lady? sigh...
wow stud! that's pretty weird.
:)
sweet dreams mich
thanks mama
My last word for the night is id 5/12 which I take as a sign!! Good night for real!
bye mich
(who i have apparently stopped calling stid)
Good Sprite you dont wont a person that meets you for 5 min and doesn't have a clue.
YEs I am here. So many of you.
well that is basically what they are, aren't they lady... sigh. The system is much sicker than I am.
Hi everyone. Stid, how is the cat that was worrying you the other night?
i never know what part of a nickname to choose when i don't want to type the whole thing and then i worry that i've offended .. should be the most complex problem i ever face *lol*
LOL stud! call me whatever you like.
Doing very well with classes currently sitting on a High Distinction average
lol
wtg herin
Sprite I am sure you are fine
well, i'm happy with all of mine... TS, elliot, tragic, and stud
lol welki, try not to worry! If people are offended by an abbrev, they will tell you. And if not, it is not your problem, grin.
hey bugs -- thanks for asking, we stopped by for an hour yesterday and she seemed much better. The owners get home today and so we aren't going over, I hope she will be okay, but she is an old cat.
OPPS I meant to say you will be fine
WOW lady! *impressed mama look*
hi bugs
thanks lady, *hugs*.
Hi jmc. Always good to see you.
woweeeee lady! That is better than good. Better than better! :)
hi Bugs
Hi Sprite. I hardly ever see you. I hope you are keeping well
One teacher got in a snit with me so she got mean and made me get 69 which is a credit not a Distinction off by a mark which i was not impressed with.
See and this is why I have been babble absent
ooh nice lady! sorry i got lost in chog
our schedules don't match, i think, Bugs. It is after midnight here and I should be in bed right now :) Just too nervous to sleep.
*makes lovely warm milk with sprinkle of cinnamon for sprite*
a very worthy reason to be babble absent, I'd say. Though I miss you... but you are going so strong, lady!
{{{{sprite}}}}
ti7/28?
I hope you settle soon. I find this a fun place to let go of things when I can't sleep. Too much laughter here
ti + not heavy alt. spelling, double consonant
TS she is missing out a lot you seem like a terrific and strong person.
is the io6 related to the io5?
thanks all :) Yes, this is a great place. With great people.
jes: not really!
thanks
ok, i'll stop trying to force it then
okay, I am down to 67, so will attempt one more set of essay questions before I organize my materials for the week. I have tomorrow to keep working on tasks before classes on Tuesday. *suddenly feeling a little less whelmed*
you're doing terrific as well, stiddie! *hugs*
11 to go bbl
bye again, stid
sound like you have it under control
thanks for being here, friends -- you always help me calm down enough to refocus on my work. *stern mama look* Sprite, take care of yourself. I count on you to know how to breathe through the anxiety and refocus on something that you have an ability to change.
JEss my friend rescued another dog. I swear she is just like you.
*hugs all* *Poof*
wise stidmama :D I will - promise.
Stid has your brain stopped trying to escape?
bbl
rescues are good, herin :)
bye jmc
speaking of rescues, all 31 of my kitty fosters have homes and are healthy
wow stud, that is a great record.
31! not at the same time?!
yup...sadly
they were babies
good grief, that's chaos
philly had a ROUGH kitty season
li6,24 please?
This dog is nuts. He is basically feral. She had 2 choices. Hopefully a the new trainer can train him or he will have to be put down.
they were broken into different rooms
TRagic do you have the many toed kitty?
li + garden door
2 of them
i think you can see some of atreyu's toes if you look at my profile pic
gaaah. THAT is a word I should know.
thanks
babble blindness is a common thing here, jes ;)
help with the nu7s please...26 to go
that name is from the Neverending Story, isn't it stud?
yup :)

there are 2 nu7, both are gerunds
hi Scrabs, nu + consonant, then same ending for both

i want to thank you, jes, for your help with bax. there seems to be a little bleeding through the bandage, but it's not much ... hopefully, he'll stay still for a while longer
me too ata - it's my favorite movie
yay Ata, another connaisseur of good books
Jess: http://tinyurl.com/ylcq8pv this is the article about the dog. Sweet thing but sadly so badly treated by the breeder that he is a lot nuts
ti7,28?
i want one more polydactyl cat - female all white...and she'll be the childlike empress
moon child :)
ti + not heavy, alt spelling, double the consonant
TS you are so awesome helping the baby kitties.
I have to admit that I refused to ever watch the movie because I love the book so so so much that I refuse for the images of the characters to be changed from how I see them
that is so sad, lady.
this is a recent one from calgary .. breaks my heart http://tiny.cc/W8hyE
TY for oi5--another new word today
the book is well filmed, Ata, but nothing compares to one's own images.
yvw Scrabs
well. that is one i'd put on my NOT REPUTABLE breeder list. what the crap is wrong with taht man's head? "I don't handle my pups at all"
it's the only movie i like better than the book actually
thanks sprite :)
and thank you lady :)
he is out of his mind, jes! Nobody should get a dog from that man.
no 6 help please
one more left....can anyone help with DI7/32 ?
I love the book, because I have such a beautiful copy of it, with red ink and green inked chapters
the first movie was good, but stops 1/3 of the way into the book. the second movie was crap
I did get to meet the dog. He was ok after 3 days of restricted access. Jess. the girl in the article is my friend. The journalist is trying damn hard to get this man to back up ''his good reputation'' by allowing media on his property to show that he is a puppy farmer and a bad bad man
di7= chemical explosiv
no help, Scrabs? lol. It is a gerund...
di + ***** glycerin.
yeah - my version wasn't the different ink one - i think i would have loved that one
there is no way on this earth that not handling the puppies at all is a good thing. NO WAY to sell that as good, except to crazy people
Ata, I have a copy in red and blue!
Got it, Sprite...flatlining here after being on call all weekend
got it....thanks !!!!!
mine is big sized paperback, with wonderful illustrations at the start of each chapter. I got it as a school prize when I was little!
Seethe thing is with a dog like that he has been put on the register for dangerous dog so he has to be trained and muzzled at all times and no children near him. He will became a security dog
Sprite - Thanks for the di7.
oh dear, I don't blame you one bit, Scrabs! Tough weekend. Any free time soon?
my pleasure, Jac
Yes--all weekends off until 2nd weekend of january!
Hi jacula
what a delightful prize, Ata.
ah, that is good, Scrabs. A bit of rest for the not-so-wicked ;)
Hi Scrabbs.
Ata is that the book Neverending Story you won?
yep
lady- those dogs don't last long here...
ok dear babble friends, send me off to bed. It is 1 am and alarm will ring in 5 hours. Thanks for being there and lifting my spirit! *hugs*
I think I read that book solidly for about a month, over and over again
Bye, Sprite--sleep well!
sleep sweet, sprite
aww... i want the multicolor copy!
Sleep well, Sprite. Try not to worry. xxx
Wow. Yu are so lucky.
TS I know that is why she gave him to a reliable trainer and would not give him to anyone else. Night Sprite
you'll have to ask for one for Christmas ;)
Ata one of my US friends when she visited bought with her the Hitchhikers guide in a leather bound addition it was pretty
oooo lovely
yeah- it's all about going to another country to find these things
i don't think they have this stuff here...
anybody need clues before i wander off?
ig7 help please?
one who lights fires
Neverending Story is tricky, cos I think the author was German (?) so all the pretty imprints are European, for once
ig7 - arsonist maybe?
i have a hardback copy with different color text for real world/book world time
Well, I see the first 5 letters but not he last 2
hi everyone -- almost forgot I only got half way through this last night :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Thx jac. I most not be downhearted enough - I couldn't figure out the word you meant.
now that i have that do, I am trying to make sense of that USA clue earlier
usa clue for what?
do5
someone said USA spelling of...
do5 means pain/depression in English and in Spanish
clued it at 7:44
I only use it in spanish
me took, but it exists also in English :)
i have it, cyber, was just trying to remember the previous clue
It's not often used in UK these days unless it has 'ous' at the end.
that makes sense to me, jac
here neither, jac
interesting... yes, it is more familiar with ous ending... without it, I only use it in Spanish
uno
My husband is laughing at me because I have just finished cutting about 6,000 photos from our trip down to about 2,000. I was really pleased with myself -- he says that is still excessive!
Tee hee, I must be getting more effective a 'nagging' my Other Half. I just went into the bedroom to get my dressing gown and found him on my side of the bed. I didn't touch him, just quietly said, 'Get on your own side,' and he DID!:-)
that is a lot of pictures!!!
and done
i say job well done, nan :)
nice, jac :)
I have to point out that is less than 12 photos per day!
Cyber - that's a lot of photos, but if it was a long trip...
OK, I am going to go do the dishes... enjoy the evening all
uh can comeone tell me how to properly spell tounge.
in that case, well done on the restraint, cyber
take care, kje
ahhh tongue.
tongue
oops -- *120/day -- but we did cover a lot of ground
tongue
i stand by what i said, cyber
ahhh I have latent dyslexia. I think
red - it's a common spelling error.
I feel better. I tried it multiple times.
runt
off to produce some supper -- see you at the flip :)
oops
'Bye cyber. Enjoy your food.
No need to be insulting, Red. LOL
Oh I try, I try!
I know I'm only 5' 1" and a twiddle but even so... *sobs*
be well, nan
what on earth is a twiddle?
dcs - How's Tom do5/16?
red - a twiddle is a little bit or a word to describe someone winding their hair around their fingers.
we twiddle thumbs in the US. and Jac you arent a twiddle, your awesome!
very, very well, jac, thank you. in my profile are pictures from the Saturday meetup in DC
that ing ending is coming in handy a lot
Good evening to my fellow babblers! How is everyone?
welcome, minver
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! YAY!
dcs - yes, I saw the pics. I also saw the ones of Tom, which prompted me to ask how he's do5/16. Glad he's on the mend.
red - I guess twiddle in the sense of something small comes from the term tiddler and has been changed in local dialect.
The proper meaning of twiddle is a combination of twirl and fiddle, I think.
Red - thank you!
Hi Min.
Min - have you just started the grid?
i used to live in a section of Capitol Hill in Washington, DC called TO8
You had to pay to get in there then, dcs?
not since 1956, when they extended Maryland Ave NE and removed the tolls to enter the L'Enfant City.
ai 5 plz?
I started the grid at about 6:00. I have 28 words left
it was 50 cents to enter the L'Enfant City at the time the removed the to4s
mkg, sickly
and jac, i added another picture because of your earlier query about Tom. I'll upload more from then soon.
isnt that the 6?
oopsie. indeed it is
dcs - send him my very best wishes.
will do, thanks :)
ai5 is a garlic mayo sauce from France.
jac beat me too it :)
I often mix it up with the air sacs of the lungs, which are alv***.
ai5/10: Put definition into a reverse dictionary mkg.
yes, though those are not so nice on a sandwich
dcs - LOL. Probably not!
Here is a link for ai5/10 word and it is #1 on the list: http://www.onelook.com/?w=*&loc=revfp2 &clue=+garlic+mayo+sauce+from+France
Have you never tried toasted ai5 and al7? LOL
LOL can't say that i have, though i have had cow tongue
Actually, pressed ox tongue is nice.
I've not eaten it for years, but it was often on my lunch box sandwiches for school.
Can someone help with the in8?
do you have the in7?
in8 is the plural of in7.
There's a 7 too? Oy...no I don't have that either.
smoove, it's from Italian - an engraving process related to cameo
smoove - in + *** (label) + first 2 letters of king of the jungle. Use his first 3 letters for the end of the in 8.
good clues Jac and DC... I could not think
It's the opposite of a carving done in relief.
The carving clue/italian did it...Thanks so much.
could I get a clue for the di 7, 32 please?
y/w smoove.
di7/32 = di + *****-glycerine.
(Explosive)
thank you
ty Jac
first to6/24 please?
torg - keeping the tips of your feet close to the line.
through the tulips torg
Thanks Jac!
2 left ..
Does anyone have a clue for the to 7/32 word please
Or try... to* the line or you will be whipped mercilessly! LOL
y/w Torg.
to + jar top + not out
Good clue, ruru.
Thank you for the to 7/32 clue. I just found the word
:)
I think Torg might be having to take time out after my last clue. ROFLOL.
i am not getting any of these clues. gee. cant even get the ai 5.
Sorry, gang, I disappeared without notification. I have to get dinner now but will be back to clue later.
ai 5 is garlicy french mayonaise mkg
This grid was a real stinker, IMHO -- no S makes a big difference!
Jilli - how dare you just disappear and then casually wander off to eat! *sighs* :-)
I'm still here ..
just got it but i say no fair. this grid is english and that word is NOT.
LOL, Torg.
need bo 5 14 please.
bye for now.. have to run to the store for groceries.
See you anon, ruru.
nm just got it.
(was gathering info for the next icon theme -- St Andrew's Day)
sorry all.
bo5.14 is French for box
Is oi5 a normal word?
no, torg
No matter, mkg, you just did a Peri. Having said that, she doesn't do it often now. We might have to change it to 'doing an mkg'. LOL
Yes, torg, especially if you like popular music from the 50's or 60's
torg, add a spanish day
sorry that was ol5
ty dcs. I had no oi5 what that word was.
Thanks ..The monkeys earned their pay today ..
oi5 is a fungal word. oi + the ***meter of a circle.
Nice clue, wht!:D
Extra bananas for all!
good one, wht :)
to4.5 is escaping me completly.
Thanks for the bananas, Torg. There's only one left in our fruit bowl.
ah, found it :)
dcs, I've TO** you before!
i keep forgetting about bottom T
t'was the last one, but thank you :)
Well done on fireworks, dcs.
The bananas were for the monkeys, but you're welcome to them ..
ah, no, have 28 to go yet :)
t'was the last to4.5 that i had been missing
Not really for me, torg, but for stepdaughter, who's recently discovered the joy of a homemade banana milkshake when she gets home from school.
hi folks
Can someone clue the two o6s?
One banana, 2 and a half scoops of icecream and about half a pint of milk. Whizz with a blender and drink. If you want to make a meal of it, and you trust your egg source, add a raw egg to the mix.
Hi welki.
Hi welki
nice yo word....very nice. again not english.
make that the two lo6's. Not only are my monkeys on strike, so are my fingers.
is english, mkg, alt spelling
hi, welki
the cabana boy would apply tanning lo**** to your back while you recline on a padded lo**** chair
talk about a fantasy :)
ty ty ty.
hi all
jmmmmm
hi jmc
Hi jmc.
i post a cabana boy fantasy and jmc appears ... coincidence or esp?
mmmmmmwelki
gr 7 help?
I must look up what a cabana boy is.
gr + state of the ***** address
gr + the ***** Jack, flag of the UK
gr7 is a fish (really!)
thank you...I know that word....just couldn't see it.
this is what wiki says, notice the " " marks! A cabana boy is a male attendant (boy in this sense) performing 'personal services' to the guests of a hotel or a large private estate
The gr7 run is something of an event here ..
can only catch them with your hands! would love to see it!
gr7 could be a contraction of a former supermarket here
"Cabana boys are typically viewed as scantily clad attractive young men who cater to their clients' every whim." Ah! Now I see!
gr7s that is .. not cabana boys! *lol*
the cabana boys and i get along very very well
... and sailors, too
I guess that's why I've been living with a man 12 years' my junior for the past 6 and a half years. *grins*
makes perfect sense to me, jac *grins back*
my hubby was younger than I too
but the relation i have with the cabana boys in the pb is veryspecial
you actually have relations with them? in the pb? *grabs the sanitizer*
help with the ai6 please
jmc - 'was' younger?
Did it end badly?:(
tr 5 12 plz?
ai6 and abetting
he died 15+ years ago jac
2 ai6 - both gerunds. to help ... and to feel poorly
Welki - panic ye not! The PB is regularly disinfected.
jethro tr*** (with that extra r in there)
nurses, regularly ai6 the ai6
jmc - Oh! That's a b*gger.:-( They're not supposed to go before we do, are they? So sorry.
really welki I cannot understand why you think i would leave random things smeared around
it's not just that, jmc ... but that i've been there with them, too! will have to check calendar to see who was first in the pb *lmao*
texas pete is hard to get out of the bottle, too thick, or the shaker bit is too small.
ty jac it was a bugger (since I am not british it is not such a bad word for me)
welki that is the tr 5 10 i think.
oops no welki, it is the word. sorry.
sorry dc how did texas pete (one of my fave hot sauces) get into this conversation
dc, run the bottle under hot water for a minute to thin it out a little
i get up to get the last of the beans and rice i made earlier. went to add more texas pete, but it took forever to get enough out, mild stuff texas pete
smack it good on the bottom dc
mild but tasty
i cooked some into the beans, but not enough. i need to get some Srirircha
it's got xanthan gum in it ... will thicken the sauce
a little mo-hotter mo-better is what you need
i like sriricha too ... i love spicy food
jmc - I said, 'Oh,buggeration!' when something went awry the other day. Stepdaughter asked me if it was really A Word. I said I had no idea but it made me feel better to say it. Then she looked closely at me, (she's 14), and asked if I knew what bugger and buggery actually meant. 'I'm 52,' I told her. 'I do know what both words mean.
ol 5 please?
golden ol5
lol jac
ty. got it.
spelt both ways
di 6 27 plz?
well, back to pooch patrol ... bandages are off, but i'm not convinced the floodgates won't open again before this day is done
so ai5?
garlic
galic ai5 with fries -yummy
garlic mayonnaise
hehehe, foodies abound!
welki - do the bandages refer to cutting into nail quicks?
yes, jac
If so, I take your dog is either a wrigller or has black nails?
The first ni5 for fireworks, please?
mmmmm garlic mayonaise
ni + 2000 pounds
Hold his/her nails up with a lamp either above or below next time.
whoo hoo wht
dark nails, jac. he's perfect when having his nails done .. it's us who are the culprits here
ty - even though that wasn't the explosive, I have fireworks.
Once you gauge the nail length, it's easy in future, if you cut them regularly.
at our age, not much is explosive .. and that which is, isn't mentionable in mixed company
congrats, ht
welki - use a bright light - it will show you the way.
ig word please?
Well done wht.
oh, we're experienced at it, jac ... have had dogs all our lives. was the first time this has happened
anyway, g'night everyone, "see" you tomorrow!
g'night, welki
the person who starts a fire mkg
bye welki
Oh well, one of those things then. I've done it myself with both dogs and rabbits.
ty got it.
rabbit claws are so much easier to clip than cat ones
Rabbit's nails stop bleeding sooner than dog's nails do.
di 6 and di 7 please?
You should try clipping cat claws!
di6 - speaks two languages, like poly****
i do so regularly, jac, and have for 18 years now
di7 - add ****glycerin
Cats genereally do it for themselves on clawing posts. But, when they get old, you have to persuade them to let you help.
dcs - your cat must be more amenable than my old cat was.
i clip them from kitten onward
scratching posts not enough, in my experience
Problem with both my cats, dcs, is that they came to me asking for a home as older strays.
dcs - do your cats go outside?
no, jac
ty dc. got it.
That's why scratching posts aren't enough then.
quite so, jac :)
i have heard of bilingual but di is stumping me.
poly**** - speaks many languages
di**** speaks two.
ty got it.
do 5 12 please
do5 - sorrow/pain, often with -ous
bi prefix is Latin, di prefix is Greek.
our Lady of DO5 or nuestra Señora do DO5es

they still are for me, Harp. along with cell phones and dvd's lol
I appreciate the silent effort of your compatriot mkg to silence me; however, note that her efforts have been largely disregarded and my incessant violation of your club will continue unimpeded.
