We had an advert here for Just Right Cereal. They had a group do a survey on the first add and everyone said the same thing. Music was too annoying and the wrong pitch. They had already made the add and had to run it. The second add they made was animated pre making and they had the same music. When it went to air the music and the actual advert was different to the one the research group saw. It seemed the people had spoken. I was research monkey on both times

My cousin did something similar at this church but they are the recordings of the bells. They had to do it as the bells were old and it was unsafe to ring them but too costly to replace them

yes you are right sprite and being a person...or rather having been a person who as always worked very hard and looked after everyone else ....it is indeed a hard one to learn
at least there is a name for it and some people realize it isn't something you are making up
it is, Barb. It is tough to put yourself before others, and it is even tougher to learn not to be disappointed at yourself for being 'weak' or not able to get as much done as you used to. *hugs* All I can say is: it helps to learn to take yourself really seriously, be mild and gentle with yourself and to realise that your being there and being you is much more important than any chores you can ever do.

Barb, on days like you are having now, I try to cherish the memories, and consider the pain the price I pay. I had to learn this, and also to take a couple of days after in which I take it very very slowly and make up for overdoing it.
I have also learned the FM can lead to MS some of the time...was surprised at that too

I know, Barb, I really do. I wish I could give you something from what I have learned, but words are only words. The being annoyed part eats away your energy, but that can only be cured by learning to be really mild to yourself. Deep down feeling you deserve to take care of yourself now, that you are worth the rest as you were worth the pleasure of the company. It isn't easy.
