The same. Good quality fruit/veges. We got the $25 box each week. Good $ value, convenient. Problems - LOTS of apples and pears. You get essential veges but perhaps not enough of them. We usually ended up buying more celery and other greens. You can select what you want but you need to be paying at least $35 a week I think
There is a farm up the road from us that sells fruit and veges direct - that is great and they sell beautiful strawberries which are so cheap

hahah, that is husband's favorite flavor; we used to get that in Miami, a real gelato shop. Not here in the country, however
we have an italian ice shop in Zaandam, and when the father of the owner feels like it, mostly in summer of course, he drives a small ice car with a limited amount of flavours. Even into our neighbourhood :)

Seriously Ruby. My friend had a dog that was a lot nasty and she needed 2 people to muzzle and cage him. He learnt after 2 days that minimal contact no treats released for bathroom that it wasn't fun and he behaved better
but I think this dog, Magique, can never be trusted again. Mayor came yesterday with the gendarmes to collect photos of husband's wounds and SHE wants the dog put down. She said that she was ashamed for our whole village that such a thing could happen here. Very nice, I thought!

the problem with that argument Nono is that it's old and overused... I don't disagree, but I think the more pressing issue is that of drunk driving. Kids aren't exposed to alcohol before then begin driving, and when they finally can (either legally or otherwise) the combiniation is deadly

certainly not, and I have too, NB... but the original stimulus for marijuana to be made illegal was the whole "reefer madness" craze in the 20s when the white upper class came onto the notion that black men would do marijuana and rape white women... that led to fear, which led to widespread support for its outlawing, and without really any medical reasoning, the rest is history

thanks Peri. last year when my mom was sick i felt so fragile and would sometimes wonder why people would act callous or whetever. then i would realize they didn't know i was in a fragile state. i wondered how many times have i been rough with peoples feelings when i didn't know that they were dealing with stuff. just a good reminder bc you never know.

My mom died 6 days after I turned 20 and I was in a pretty intense program at college.. My Dad called me that morning and told me she had died in the night... I started crying and he said 'well now...don't be upset..." And I guess I just felt from my upbringing that I had to suck it up. Went to class that morning and didn't even tell my profs..

While we were changing the sheets we told her we were angry with her and that we would let her know what her punishment is in the morning. She replied that we wouldn't remember in the morning so it doesn't matter.
So what should the punishment be?

I like the tradition of naming houses. Not a lot of that done here. We're in the planning stages of building ours and I think we'll have to name it!
