once you find the de 6/30.. repeat the last vowel.. then add s
There's also a de8, related to those?
yes
de 6 is the verb.. de 7 the person.. de 8 plural.. de 7 is plural verb
Ah yes - so there is!
Or are, rather - two more, another 7 and an 8. :)
Thank you...

Hmmm. Debatable in my case also. ;)
after my birthday someone asked me if I wanted a discount, and I looked at them like they were nuts ... guess I have shaved years for too many years and have lost count LOL
lol dee
Ah. I don't bother doing that - would be pointless.
One of the drawbacks to a public career...
the guys at the grocery store asked me if I needed help out with the groceries.. I told them wait for ten years and I'd get back to them..lol
my body feels older, but my brain doesn't (and I agree with ru about the wisdom part)
When I'm an old knacker everyone will know it. :/
LOL ru!!
I know what you mean, Dee. Only too well...
lol jc
as long as you don't get knacker confused with your knocker.. you'll be fine ;)
lol
I could never confuse anything with that, ruru. ;)
anyone need help before I poof?
no.. thanks dee.. have a great sleep
Ah, well yes - only you would be here all morning. :P
I need too many - 43 left.

I'm not seeing anything more. :/
I get a few and get stuck again
Yes. That's what happens...
Unless I list - and haven't yet.
Whatever happened to that invitation, ruru?
to oMG pop.. I accepted it.
Your dog ate it? He would be the first dog to eat an email, if so.
No, I mean the one to Yahoo?
I have to play there more.
We are connected on OMGPOP?
I haven't had any notice about that?
Yes. We play a fun acronym game in our network on Yahoo!
Jill is quite good at it...
There are several Babblers you know there. ;)
One will surprise you, if you get around to accepting that invite...
jilli is good at everything
Quite.
You would enjoy it - just click the 'Connect' button in that invitation. ;)
Do you already have a Yahoo! account?
no.. I don't
If not, it will prompt you to register one - if so, you just log into it.
Ah, just create one when you accept, then...
okay.. I'll get to it
And once you do, I'll alert everyone it's you - they'll all be inviting you to connect. :)
it is our busy season right now.. thankfully
You'll find many of your Babble friends there.
Your busy season for what?
selling
We sell fine wine for a living
Ah, yes - no wonder you're such a wine expert then!
And no wonder you're in the Napa Valley area...
well the other option is that I am a professional lush..lol
As I understand? Vineyards and wineries there?
Ah, well - been there, done that. :P
lots of wineries and almost all vineyards
Don't drink much anymore - cut way back and very limited now. Still enjoy a nice glass or two of a fine wine or a G&T or even the odd Heineken, though.
Yes. Had that impression - knew it's the wine area.
I actually don't drink much anymore either.. I love to smell it and taste and spit.
Ah yes?
I do enjoy French wine mostly and have a little while I am cooking dinner.. that's about it for me.
hello all
I used to entertain more ..but have cut back on that due to age and the economy
Ah. Just took a guess at a word and it worked, to grey out a tile. :)
Hello, ursh...
hi ursh
will someone please clue ni7 for me?
I'm rather partial to Italian wines. I have a nice recipe that calls for red wine, which I've shared with Jill - she's made it several times. Wonder why? :P
think the preservative on bacon flosey
I would if I could, flosey. :/
thanks ru
Ah. One of several good reasons not to eat it. ;)
Bacon is loaded with ni7's
got it, for fireworks
I got it too - but no wireforks for me yet. :/
congrats flosey. you are really getting good at this game nowadays
And flosey's in our Yahoo network, ruru. ;)
ty ru
I'm dragging him there, slowly but surely, Flo...
yes JC but I don't spend much time there
No. Others do, though. ;)
yes, lots of babblers now
My better half and I are there, along with several of our personal friends and online friends and acquaintances - including several Babblers. :)
Yes - I'm losing count, more and more keep joining. :)
I use it mainly for keeping track of bridge partners
And it's fun - we can post photos and blogs, share things with our network.
Ah...
And I update my page almost daily - along with my Twitter page. I think some of my updates will make you laugh, Paul - or roll your eyes. :P
I really must make a point of checking it more frequently
I am not that computer literate but I will give it a try
Don't look at mine from yesterday - or still 'today' for you, Flo. :P When I was travelling by car from Brecon to Aberystwyth...
And made the requisite joke about sheep. :P
When in Wales...
ok, I'll pass it by
Ian commented on that - and naturally, so did our Welsh friend Steve. :P And Jesse...
(Who you know as 'Nancy Boy', Paul.)
oh geez..
(passes flosey the woolite)
And once you connect with me, I'll have the 'Acrobot Host' connect with you, Paul - which will enable you to see and post in the guestbook of that page - where we play our acronym game. :)
:P
That's baaaaaaaaad, Paul. :P
must get to bed now, have to bake in the morning for afternoon bridge
I should head to bed.... I can't find anymore words
goodnight all
fireworks :-)
I feel sheepish about it though
yeah jilli'
you lurker
Jill? You've been here for a while?!
wtg jilli
And not even said hello?!
I thought you had gone to bed, jilli
Yes. :/
Paul...
YEAH Jilli....25 left here.
How about seeing to that in the morning then? ;)
If not before you log off for the night?
(Arm twist.)
okay.. once I aget my orders done
night all
Congrats Jilli! Hello all
:)
He's joining us on Yahoo!, Jill...
hi Lyn
and I'm away! poof
I had the chat covered up with morewords -- needed to get rid of this one -- very full day tomorrow.
Ah - did you see what I said, Jill?
Attaboy, ruru!
He logged off, I think. Don't look at my updates. :P
You'll probably want to slap me.
About ruru joining Yahoo etc? Yes :)
Yes. I mean my updates on my page...
Well pages, of course - seeing as I update that and my Twitter simultaneously.
Oh -- no, haven't looked at Yahoo yet...will do
Third update down, Jill. The ovine one. :P
Tsk tsk. I'll report you to my vet cousin in Aberystwyth.
But I'm going to bed now -- goodnight/morning and *poof*
:P
hey guys! long time no talk :)
Good morning/evening all. Tella, how long is it since you talked?
hello :)
Hello!
*yells* hello spaghettina too!
She's having her morning treats. Not that they happen every morning, of course. That's just spoiling.
of course. just once a year
If that.
It depends on whether she's kept her kennel in good shape.
Blanket folded, floors swept, that sort of thing.
was if perfectly tidy this morning?
It was very good. She'd even washed the window so I thought she deserved extra thick gruel.
what a good spaniel
Haz, what is you dog's name? Each time I see a reference to her, it seems to be a play on spaghetti or spangles (yummm loved those spangles).
*your
Christine, meet Spangle <-----------, Spangle, meet Christine.
Ata and I like to fool around with as many additions as we can fit on.
What a lovely girl.
Well, she appears to be smiling, so I guess she likes the attention.
She is very pretty.
she smiles so well!
and so easy to look after. she probably even irons
I know, she looks so happy. And who wouldn't with the prospect of extra thick gruel once a year?
Yes, easy to look after. Every home should have one.
If she cleans bathtubs, I'd be willing to take her off your hands.
can I send hobbit over for obedience lessons?
She's not that big so you'd have to lift her in and out. Would that be a problem, Christine?
Is Hobbit having a rebellious phase?
she woke me up this morning by bouncing all over me and telling me that she was desperate - desperate I say - for a wee, and so I eventually get up, hobble downstairs to find D already up. She didn't ask him, oh no ...
I will swap you Hobit for a teen kitty
Maybe she's shy, Ata.
she's a spaniel ..
And besides, doesn't it show you how much she loves you?
well yes ... but today I just needed to rest and relax, not have my knee bounced all over! :P
I'll get her a little stepstool. Actually, I saw one advertised in an old-lady's catalog, to aid in stepping over the sde of the tub. I'm giving it a thought or two.
oooo a babbler is in the grid
Those catalogues are something else - things you didn't know you needed for tasks you didn't know existed.
Yes, sp6?
yes!
Ata Mr Lucius is being damn annoying
There was one came in the other day. It featured things like a teabag dunker in the shape of a yellow submarine.
what is brat boy doing?
that's really pushing the boat out ..
Being a shit. You know the equivilant of someone jumping up and down and poking you and being annoying? He is doing that
Groan, Ata. It was just ridiculous, not even verging on being useful.
oh yes, just like Hobbit
very glad the Navy have managed to refloat their super stealthy sub
The mummummumumumumum what you doing IS she annoying Silly?
no, sily's up in her basket out of the way
It must have been a bit embarrassing for them, running aground in full view. There'll be an enquiry and whoever did the steering will be back on potato peeling duty.
it was a computer - a new fly-by-wire syustem I think
I think they'll find that FM is behind it. It's inevitable.
I would think so
She was probably responsible for producing the manual to the computer. Mark my words, she'll be to blame ultimately.
well, of course. it's only natural
I think the little stepstool is what I need - it's about 3inches high, but it'll get me over the rim of the tub - there's a sliding shower door that adds about 2inches to the height I need to overcome; getting out isn't a problem, but some mornings the poor old knee doesn't want to make the effort.
Anyway, speaking of your knee, are you still making a good recovery?
there's a *10* in here? eeep! just noticed
It's a normal word. Think John Wayne.
(Or at least one of his films. Not that I'm a closet John Wayne fan or anything.)
think so ... yesterday it felt just like a stiff blob of cotton wool, today I can actually feel it starting to relax and work like normal - I think just after the physical trauma of the surgery
Yes, when you think about it, no matter how non-invasive the technique, you're still interfering with tissue etc and it needs time to heal.
Hi people. Just arrived home from an early dinner with my daughter and family. And while we are discussing dogs, my little darling is confused. She has been playing with one of Cate's cats all afternoon. So the question is - is she a dog or a cat
absolutely, it's still physical trauma to internal bits and it takes a bit of time, but I can actually feel my whole knee today, it's not just numb and blobby, so that's a good thing!
Hello, jhb. She's a dog!
she's a dogcat
Numb and Blobby sounds like a good name for the Chuckle Brothers.
Yes thanks. Although Tibetan Spaniels have been described as one third dog, one third cat and one third monkey.
I ahve a catdog
<---------- all dog.
Oh good - and I thought I was the only one.
am sure hobbit thinks she's human
Well Lotte is really in no doubt that is until she met Flkash
ah ty Haz, my whole knowledge of John Wayne involves that one film's name, luckily
Well, wasn't that fortunate?
My cat plays fetch
very!
Two babbler names - Esprit.
PB!
I can't believe you just did that! Hello all
Hi. Hey Lynxx I found out something about that show Burkes Backyard
Goodness, I assumed that it wasn't valid. What are French words doing in a grid? This is English, I don't think foreign words should be accepted, we need to keep the grid pure.
Hello, lynxxx.
Yes? is that still going?
No but I will never ever buy anything attached to them
why?
why?
Not even from a catalogue?
Because they said that ACA Kennels (Banksia Park) was a reputable puppy breeder
but how long ago was that?
2005 and ACA is now known as Banksia Park that claims they are reputable when the photos state otherwise
same owners?
I don't think we've been treated to Burke's Backyard over here.
We used to get it but haven't for some years.
Looking at their website they don't do the actual breeding Infernal
Yep.
Article I am reading says ''ACA breeders (located near Sale as well). This puppy farm was featured on Burke's backyard in 1999 and Don Burke stated that it was a “well run puppy farmâ€
what is / was burke's backyrad?
Apparently, Burke is the equivalent of Alan Titichmarsh.
Read the ACA website Infernal - the page on Our Breeders
goodness
Purveyor of blue fences and water features to the Aussie public.
Well - Burke reorganised peoples backyards showing how EASY it was - provided of course, you had the dollars and all the help he had.
Similar Haz - not only gardens but all things found in a backyard - so choks , mowers etc
chooks that is
I immediately assumed that it was something to do with Burke (of Burke and Hare, bodysnatchers) having made it to Australia and doing unspeakable things then hiding the evidence.
what site please Lynx?
Christine - do you remember that brown bread we used to have at home? Well its name is in the grid but it wont accept it.
Google ACA kennels
Hovis! With the ad of the little boy wheeling his bike up a very steep street.
Yep - that's the one.
Hovis is still on the go, isn't it, Ata?
Not here in NZ
Ok not sure that the store in Croydon is the same as getting from puppy farms but ACA Kennels/ Banksia kennels is
oh yes
ye - NCIS is on the tv. My favourite. Be back later.
Did your read the page "Our Breeders"
Bye, jhb.
That should read Bye
errr can I have the actual site?
BBL dinner to seve
See you later, lynxxx.
Ok I did and they are a puppy farm
This is 2007: http://tinyurl.com/2d7gn4o This is now: http://tinyurl.com/37efsou Nothing has changed. It kills me
de6/7 french words too
I know, I'm shocked to the core. What kind of puzzle is this?
a revolting one
Sorry Lunxx
I think I'll write to Dr-G and ask him to make sure that only English words appear.
it is a bit of an invasion today
And more stinking French words -vi7 and vi8.
I can't even see these words
French people don't go window shopping, they go window licking...What an expression!
Ata you can have lucius I have a happy pandora
ah ty I was going round and round that one and not getting the letters in the right order!
vi7 - vi plus the ending of a word that means a rudimentary toilet, la*****.
good clue
It should get the word unless you think that la starts lavatory.
or lavabo
No more of your stinking French words!
lavabos shouldn't stink!
They shouldn't, that's true.
what do you call words - oh I can't even think how to explain, that typify speech in a particular dialect - like londoners saying "innit?"
Bad elocution.
nooo, northern ireland peoiple do it too "will we?" etc
I know, I'm just not sure of the correct term.
nor me!
colloquialism?
ohhh
You mean a speech pattern that only relates to a particular dialect - like Estuary English, or Glaswegian glottal stops?
trying to work out how to look up little patterns of speech that welsh people typically use
Hi Lind
Hi herin, how ya doin?
A colloquialism would confine a word or phrase to a particular area, wouldn't it?
But I tend to think of it as referring to words rather than patterns of speech.
yeah perhaps
In Answers.com, it give the answer to the question 'Which term means a local or regional speech pattern' - Dialect.
I just couldnt think of the right term to look up
Are you writing a book about Welsh people?
just writing a silly torchwood fiction thingy
Does Captain Jack feature? Is the grass green in Ireland?
oh yes Captain Jack features :)
Now why does that not surprise me?
:)
A common feature of the Cardiff accent is, in colloquial language, the tendency to use a 3rd person singular verb conjugation when referring to the 1st/2nd person singular or plural. For example, I lives in Cardiff rather than I live in Cardiff.[1] When asking the whereabouts of something, a Cardiffian may as Where's that to?[6], with the grammatically unnecessary addition of the preposition to, which indicates a direction even though this meaning would not actually be implied. Double negatives are a feature of Cardiff English, as in some other urban accents of English.[1] Cardiff English is marked by frequent assimilation and elision, when two distinct sounds merge into one when pronounced in sequence. Therefore, bearing in mind the dropping of /ð/, in these may be pronounced as [ɪn'niËz] (in-neez), rather than [ɪn ðiËz].
double negatives! horror!
A current peeve is the question 'Where is it at?'
Some of the Apprentices can't string together grammatical sentences, have you noticed?
oh dear, that's not a good question
nor can ALan Sugar
That's true.
sometimes even he makes me cringe
good morning everybody
I know. You wouldn't have found Margaret uttering a double negative.
Good morning,ruby.
how cold is it in the UK? Frost yet?
Rainy here.
what do you think of Karen Brady?
She's just a bit bland at the minute. She hasn't perfected the acidity needed.
She was good when she spoke directly to the banshees, but is a bit quiet normally.
not as good as margaret
you all used the expression chav the other day, so I asked my niece in London for a definition and she said: WHITE, 12 YRS OLD, GUM -CHEWING, PREGNANT AND SAYS INNIT!
No, Margaret is a very hard act to follow. She's from Northern Ireland, of course.
looool yep
is she? did she have her NI accent bred out of her?
I'm not sure what happened to her accent, but yes, she's from Holywood, Co Down (like Rory McIlroy the golfer).
gosh, you'd never ever know
Back. Hi Ruby - what a definition!
Mountford believes that her Northern Irish background has helped her career, saying: “I think coming from Northern Ireland gives you a lot of basic level-headedness and stands you in very good stead. A lot of what’s required is a common sense approach, much of business depends on that actually.â€
She went to Strathearn Grammar, then Girton College, Cambridge. It's possible that she might have had an Englishy type accent to start with.
innit that funny?
I had never heard the expression before
I think she's right. We value common sense very highly.
Not that you'd know it from our politicians, but that's another story.
just innit funny, ruby ;)
and aparently you can put a spirit-level on their heads too - and the bubble is in the centre
'Innit' = isn't it = is that not quite correct, old bean?
I've only heard that on TV as we get a little bit of BBC programming. The French say "Quoi" as an interjection
That's one French word that isn't in the grid.
about the only one
I only found one, so far.... :(
I know, it's flooded with them. Shocking.
Ruby, do your duty and clean the windows.
here's a phantom Fr one, appropriate for this week : greve
am still horrified about maybe having to write double negatives in this story. I don't even know how to write double negatives!
and get the dogs to stop licking them
but I'm on strike!
Pretend that your hero/heroine has had elocution lessons all his/her life and had the double negatives educated out of them.
Ruby - I was giving you hints for the French words - de6 and de7 and vi7 and vi8.
but she's meant to be a normal cardiff person
No normal Cardiff person has elocution lessons? Where's Charlotte Church from?
cardiff
So, think in Charlotte Church speak....
If that doesn't tip you over the edge, I don't know what will.
ty, haz, I didn't realize the de's were Fr. but I had them. The vi's you suggested, too funny that you guys kow that awful expression
it's funny, I can hear the welsh accent in my head, it's difficult actually *writing* it though
I studied French, ruby, millions of years ago and we were taught all sorts of expressions to try to make us sound more native.
no cardiff person would take elocution lessons. What would be the point? We all speak perfect anyway. Believe me, this is a subject I know about.
Here's Dachef to give you the lowdown. He's a scriptwriter and everything. We are in the presence of greatness.
we had lessons on how to say "um" and "er" in French!
hi Dachef
I studied it, too, also a million years ago and although I would read and write it (like an ado, alas), I couldn't speak well until I moved here
We were shown how to shrug in French.
hello dachef
Very useful if you can't think of le mot juste. Just shrug.
Le Gallic Shrug
were you taught how to revolt properly
husbaqnd can't understand why they move their mouth so much when they speak, but I explained that it's the formation of the sounds that causes that, and made him watch a chinese movie
I was pretty revolting to start with!
and yes, we do say 'innit' a lot. especially at the end of every sentence, innit?
We weren't taught how to revolt. We had lessons on Baudelaire so we were too full of ennui to raise the energy to revolt.
it sounds like you still remember all your French, haz
ennui isn't in the grid either
I've retained my French much better than my German.
where is sp***? she is hiding in the grid this AM
me too
Anyway, I must head off and get the shopping done. More ennui.
ennui ennui
Bye all!
bye Haz
bye dear!
bye haz
*disparue*
do you have glorious spring, lynxx?
flowers, halcyon breezes?
rain, flowers, rain, and about 10 really nice days. But no water restrictions to speak of!
you need the rain, though, right?
yay, half!
yay ruby!
am I being really stupid not seeing the left hand O?
I think the Australia wide drought has really broken. Was listening to a radio show about an area in Sth Australia, the most rain in 30 years. TheState's national flower _ the Sturt Pea - is in full bloom and in a multitude of color variations that they have never seen before
I love those peas, gorgeous flowers
I don't have either o!
I have not found it
that makes me feel strangely better :)
that is wonderful, lynxx! Where my son lives in the Texas hill country, when they have a rainy spring, thanks to Lady Bird Johnson, the hills are covered with flowers
the other o is os4 and og4/5
OS 6/18 os & Jerry ****feld the comedian
ty lindy!

ty lindy!
TY Lind!
and I finally found two at the top!

yay Ruby

ty lynxx, I finally got it. monkeys are lying about on the floor, panting
82 words! *chuffed for the morning*
well done!
and, speaking of monkeys, ti** and pl
is that a babblet?
yep
*poof*
my 100th word was the 10, a nice way to finish for the night. Bye all
Take care, Lynxxx :-)
Morning all. I love it when I get a 10 without a clue.
Hello, Molly :-)
+
Hello, Lori :-)
And fireworks for me.
*poof*
Yay for Zoom!!
Done with the evil d's. I think I'll tiptoe around the chat log and eat all the chocolate since no one is here.
Hi Molly, the chocolate is in the PB...you can always put og4 into the chog and then you can have all the chocolate your heart desires ( LOL )
Caught! Morning Annie. How's your tailbone feeling today?
Sore. The thing that annoys me is I cant sit up in bed and read (it hurts) I have to lay on my side and it is very uncomfortable to read that way. Life can be worse tho. How are you coming along, my dear?
I'm okay, glad it's the weekend. Have you tried sitting on one of those donut pillows?
No, I guess I should buy one but I really dont want to spend the money. Might have to tho.
Two of our babblers are in the grid...es 6/21 and sp 6/21
going to make coffee, bbs
Good morning to my Babble buddies!
Hi Scrabbs, coffee is dripping, english muffins toasting
Mmm, English muffins.
*puts out tea and muffins, jam for scrabbs*
I am thinking of making pancakes for breakfast but I know that I shouldn't eat that many carbs.
Morning Scrabbler.
Hi Molly.
good morning Babblers :)
scrabbs, have fun! enjoy!
Hi Nanette!
Hi Nono!
Good morning Nanette.
BRB, going to make 2nd cup of tea and then running to end of driveway to get newspaper.
I always love to hear of people who still get the newspaper.
I look forward to reading the newspaper. I could read it online but it would be tougher. Also, I like the comics and puzzle pages.
i usually head to the comics first. morning.
Hello again, FB.
four Ss, and only 132 words? oh dear.
On Saturdays our paper has the NYT crossword puzzle which (sadly, perhaps) is the highlight of my week.
Reading the comics first is a great way to start the day.
Yep, I have my favorites.
Hi feather, I also go directly to the comics when I get the paper
Pearls Before Swine, Zits, Pickles, Get Fuzzy, Pro & Con...
zits, pickles, baby blues
better go get the heathens dressed. just wanted to peek in on the grid/chog.
have a good day feather
Pearls Before Swine is my favorite. Enjoy your day Feather.
Oh, and I love the New York Times crossword. No sadly about that being a highlight of your week Scrabs.
Bye FB
It is such a clever and challenging crossword puzzle. I spend a few days on it, as I will think of the correct answers after a while.
The only way I can do a clever crossword is to step away from it from time to time.
Yep. And often I will think of the answer when I am not even looking at the puzzle. I will be at the store, or reading in bed, and I say, "That's it!"
It always amazed me how our minds work like that.
Yes, our subconscious is always trying to solve problems.
good morning friends, checking in for part 2 of my morning routine (Babble) - part 1 is the newspaper!
Hi JBV! I decided, with you as my inspiration, to devote some time everyday for Italian study. I was on LiveMocha last night and I pulled out some of my flashcards.
Morning JBV
good morning, all
morning JBV
Hi TNC
I like Live Mocha - do you have "friends" who correct your submissions? I find it very helpful
hello Tea
hello JBV and Tea
I have the paper delivered and read almost everything except sports and business
I was presented with a large number of possibilities, almost chose Paola, then was too nervous.
just go for it - nothing to be afraid of. I haven't done it in a while, because now I'm in an Italian conversation group here with real people (!)
I love tackling the NYT sunday crossword..thinking of getting the Sunday Times delivered again
do you know about another resource online? very helpful and no "friends" involved - it's Loquendo:
http://tts.loquendo.com/ttsdemo/defaul t.asp?page=id&voice=Paola
Of course my mother is/was fluent as she grew up speaking Italian with her parents + sibs. But she hasn't spoken Italian in 20+ years.
TY, JBV
all you do is enter a text in Italian and a voice reads it back to you!
I subscribe to the NY Times online and I can get today's puzzle and the entire ARCHIVE of puzzles at any time!
I must get over my fear of conquering verb conjugations in various tenses.
I like Loquendo when I'm not sure about where to place the spoken accent on a word, like diMENtico, etc.
JBV, then I can print out the crosswords if I subscribe
funny, scrabs, I just noticed the link I gave you has "Paola" as the sample for the demo
ViverO
morning al
yes, Annie, you can print them and go back and check the answers - I think it's about $39.95 a year
hi peri
does anyone know what time Eva's Wedding is today?
Hi Peri
Italian has changed in 20 years, scrabs, I'm finding they use a LOT of English words now, and grammar has simplified - almost nobody uses the passato remoto, everything is present perfect
That is a cool site JBV. Shouting out happy wedding day wishes to Eva!!
I hate all of those names of tenses--present perfect, pluperfect, past, etc.
I get very intimidated.
***getting rice ready to toss for EVA *** (or is that not ecologically correct anymore?)
hi Molly
I think they use bird seed now JBV
Got the 10 all by myself
bubbles too
wtg Annie
thanks, NoNo, I like that :)
yes bubbles also
yay Annie !!! care to give a hint?
bird seed for the do5
gr 10...state of being rough, sandy

BTW, there was snow on the ground and on roofs yesterday near the forestry where we hiked.
non c'è di che
oh no, already, Scrabbler?
(((Mom))) the Yankees are history *sob* but very happy for Josh Hamilton
I watched that game, too, Annie, very exciting for the Texas team and fans
((Annie)) good morning. I saw that in the morning paper. I am sorry for you
JBV, what does that mean?
scrabbler said "thanks," and I said, "you're welcome"
Yes, Mom, and it snowed here for a few minutes Thursday evening then switched to rain.
Annie, are you feeling better?
I dread it when the snow starts to fly
it's like saying "il n'y a pas de quoi" in french
Fox News is carrying the World Series and they are in a dispute with News Corp over fe4 and the Channel is blacked out so I cannot watch the World Series. What gall!
Do you get much snow in Kentucky?
oh are you in that market Annie? that is terrible. We have comcast. no problem in NJ
last year we got an unusual amount. We average 15-20 inches a season
Annie, that is terrible
Cablevision is terrible...last year HGTV and Food Network was out for a month over fe4
Mom, I still hurt..scrabbs says it will last for a while so I am trying to be patient.
around here you had to have cable to watch the playoffs but the world series is on one of our regular stations so everyone can watch it
Haha, Mom, we get that and more PER snowfall multiple times through the winter. Our usual winter = 120-140 in/season.
Annie, you and Bobby pack your bags and come stay with us for a week of so.
thank goodness Time Warner was able to come to terms with the fe**
**cough** I would be in a constant panic Scrabbler
hello all. annie, it's a sad day
*packing*
((TO)) good morning, sorry about the Yankees
Annie, it's different that an injured wrist which you can not use for a while. Our tailbone cannot be rested--we move, we sit, there are attachments..
OWL, *wringing out the crying towel*
Hi Owl
what's up? who's hurt?
TO, Annie fell and bruised her tailbone
hi TO,
Annie I did not know about your injury - so sorry to hear, must be very painful
oh no, i am sorry to hear that annie. ad hi to all
Annie has an injured coccyx and coccyalgia.
Hi JBV
that sounds hurty!
Only Scrabs could spell those words correctly.
Hi Mom
I fell last Saturday on my tailbone and it hurts but not as bad as it did last week. Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts.
I fell last Saturday on my tailbone and it hurts but not as bad as it did last week. Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts.

hi peri
we are both fine, Mom, thanks for asking. How are you?
plural of ti4/4--ti5/10
ok, I already hav a plural, but will keep looking, maybe thre is another
I.e. bottom T = ti5/10
peri, I am very glad Zoe-Anne is well.
Your cat was ill, Peri?
ty Annie, hope you are feeling all better really soon
Peri, I am so glad to hear that. I am just fine. THought I would try for NBT before I have to head out but that is not going to happen
thanks, peri
the ti5/10 I have is not from bottom T
but the pl is peri
she has had ongoing UTI issues, Scrabs but is doing much better. I keep her upstairs with me and have 2 litter boxes per the vet
must be more than one ti5/10 then
yes I have 2
ti5---plural the bird
Are all cats prone to the urinary issues or just females?
My male cat had urinary tract issues in the past
Hi Sukee
Morning all
mostly males but with age many both sexes
ty, did not hae the correct ti4
Hi Mom
hi sukee
tips
oops
my cat is a senior citizen :)
Hi Sukee. Are cats anatomically predisposed? Or is it a dietary issue? I have raised rabbits only and never cats or dogs.
my bad
hi Sudee
Sukee , sorry
males are because of thir anatomy, bladdr stoes stuck i urethra
I don't know what caused Boo's, but he is on special food now
n not working properly today
ok, kids, signing off for now, have to go to my Weight Watchers meeting to see how much I've gained this week :)
I had planned to get up early and head to town to shop but 3 hrs later I am still on the web.
bl
((JBV)) have a good day
Aw, JBV. What is your total loss so far? I am stuck at minus 15.
bye bye Peri
bye JBV
later, peri
bye bye JBV
ash in food is considered one contributor, but there is spec a virus causes initially, perhaps in kittenhood, they have studied litter mates. but no one really knows.
I thought the ti4 was a monkey.
it is Molly
as you can see, having had two males with it, i hav been through the wringer with it. i am sure that is more than you wanted to know.
I must have misunderstood "plural the birds" then.
Molly, sorry, you are right..it is a monkey
More coffee for Annie! : )
*gratefully accepts a cup of coffee*
Fresh ground Dunkin beans Annie. It doesn't get much better than that.
I have learned a lot about rabbit health issues over the years.
I need a 3rd Z. I have 2 pasta words.
not out,scrabs
ze4====not out at end
Isn't that a German word?
TY, I remember seeing that before.
Ah, I see. It's not. There is my new word for the day. I will think of it every time I shuck corn.
seeking the lonne o
os6 ==ends with French river minus last e
ty
Lone o...os + jerry ****feld the comedian. Not my clue, someone used that earlier.
Better, easier clue than mine which was recycled too.
got yours, must be babble muscle memory
hey scrabs, will children's liquid benadryl work? it's what i have in there. took a lysine and two advil, had a smoothie for breakfast, starting to feel a little better.
babble muscle memory, lol
Yes, that is what to use. Swish and spit, or dab it on sores.
hi feather, sorry to hear you'r under the weather
You can also open capsules and dab powder on sores.
time for me to head out. Good luck to all of you. ((Hugs))
Hi and bye Feather. Feel better soon
Bye Mom. Enjoy the day!
mom are you leaving?
i'll swish, as i think i'm missing some with the dabbing. too far back to see. i'm ok TO, (ish), it's just some canker sores that are killing me, and a swollen throat. from the neck down i feel great!
okay, I just ordered a "donut" pillow to sit on..opened a catalogue and that was the first page so I took it as good advice. right, molly?

Ok
phantom "dossier"
Devo is a word
i think there was a musician named devo in the 80,s think he used to set fire to synthisizers or something lol
it was a group
Hi fellow Babblers!
Yes and they had a song Whip IT
Hi Beach
ahh,for 90% of the music in that decade,i try very, very hard to forget
howdy beach
I love 80s music. I will gladly rehouse all vinyl from that era.
i was too busy watching magnum p.i and looking at all the honeys in lycra with big hair
I am proud to say I can still do 80's hair
watching david hasslehoff chase them all around
any clues for the 10?
The quality of having small hard particles.
Sandpaper has different levels of gr10.
gr10 - the true John Wayne quality.
Ack I can't remember this movie on 90's music and it is going to annoy me
"ahh the innocent 80,s when the ladies would get their big hair going and pour themselves into spandex bodysuits 2 sizes too small, wrap a gold chanin round their waist, slip in the 4 inch heels and hit the dance floor..
See two words that don't go together - spandex bodysuit
ty for the gr 10 haz
thank you!!
You're welcome - hello to all.
Huh on the 10 but I will think
see what happens when you do not watch john wayne movies?
lol
I won't claim to have watched them all but this one is pretty famous.
indeed
I am not awake
and welcome to jacq(if you are on)our newest folding at home team member!! yaaa!
my coffee maker is broken...and I'm sad.
poor magyk...
make camp coffe then
Awww Magy what do you use?
boil some water, toss your perk coffee in,boil it some more, then strain it through a pair of pantyhose ;)
mmm camp coffee...
It just broke yesterday so I am still trying to figure out what to do. I need a coffee iv!
We run no risk of that happening in this house. We have 2 plungers and a one cup filter. If the coffee is filter paper system then do as normal but manually poar the hot water
just told you what to do..lol
I think in the shape it's in, I'll be making some camp coffee here in a few! :)
you can also use a square of cheesecloth and make a coffee "tea bag"
Magy what is it?
Morning Babblers!
howdy red
Hi Red
It's funny, but Camp Coffee here is coffee and chicory essence, much beloved in yesteryear for coffee flavouring in cakes.
Hello, red.
Hi Haz.
Well it's the electrical cord on a Bunn slow drip.
Hey Red!
Community Coffe out of new Orleans sells Coffee with chicory.
I considered it today, but bought medium roast instead, I do not do dark coffees well.
i am drinking a volcanic soil mountain grown shade tree coffee from costa rica;)))))
What's wrong with the cord?
sounds very lovely and fancy cross.
very nice and my brother send me 8 pounds fed ex from costa rica;)
The protective plastic covering has started to come off and now when it's plugged in it sparks. I don't plug it in anymore.
well from Cr to miami, then from there to here
Go Manual with it Magy.
hi all. looks like I came into this at the wrong time. I'm thinking coffee or cocaine.
go with the coffee nb,it is better for youy
with this crowd I think we are having mostly coffee.
ok! Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions! :)
gave up the coke in the 70,s nb lol
If you have duct tape you can separate the wires, wrap them with it and then wrap together. Should do till you buy a new cord
well I'm in two minds. I'm not a cokehead. But...I hate coffee ;)
then have a nice tea
thanks hoot!
Red bull?
yw
hi Nancy
hi NB
I had red bull ice cream last night
i still have a old fasioned stove top perkulator with the meta stem and basket and the lid with the glass top..never breaks;)))
Hi Magyk, Hoot :)
red bull ice cream?
Yep
we have a Nespresso machine and it's perfect coffee everytime. Never before could I make decent coffee
And I had with it whiskey cream and it was good
what does red bull taste like?
Nespresso is not real coffee.
err not sure it has a description
HI NB
I can only drink coffee if it's really, really, really bad. Like, slosh some cheap instant stuff in, hot water, done.
it's real expresso in little capsules, not instant
nope..espresso is real coffee
lol,and 2 points to herin, with her red bull ice cream with whiskey cram topping!!
Tastes like medicine, Ruby. It's gross. Fizzy, slightly syrupy medicine...
and George comes with.....
nespresso is just the branding of the machine
is it like a cola?
I am drinking stovetop espresso now
despite having a nespresso machine - LOL
gm
I drink a double in the AM with boiled milk
do yourself a favor kje.. buy a Pavoni
Is that the pod thing?
nahhh, it's difficult to explain, really. Sweet, but not in a cola way. The only way to find out is to try it, honestly.
ruby it is not like cola, frankly I think red bull tastes like liquid tylenol.
Nancy what about um V?
YES Red. Like medicine, right?!
yup. the machines are just a way of selling the (expensive) pods. But the coffee is really wonderful
ope, I think my low tech Italian stovetop pot is quite good, and much cheaper...
sounds delish, red, hahah
i dont do red bull...
go ahead ...live in the dark ages
Hi Ru
what I like about the capsules is that you can have exactly what you want and that goes for whoever is in the house, whenever
Truly the foulest club drink is a jagerbomb. Red bull + a shot of jagermeister, down in one. Bleurgh.
Pod coffee is yuk (unfortunatly)
gladly - like millios of Italian households do...
O NB you are right bleurgh
morning herin you are up late
hello ruru
hi ruby.. I don't like the sound of this red bull ..never tried it
Watching music videos
do you rub sticks together to start your fire too kje?
evidently, club kids drink it with vodka and are so caffeined-up that they don't know they're drunk. really dangerous
We had a pod coffee machine I like the routine with a plunger
my husband used to make it with his plunger machine but I thought the coffee was too weak with the amount of milk I put in
well Ruby, it kills the tiredness. mind you, I think red bull and vodka is going out of fashion, mostly 'cause it just tastes nasty.
if you drink it black, it's probably ok
I've only read about it NB
too old to go clubbing!
and my coffee pot never breaks down, and works eve if the electricity goes out
...whatever.. you are just missing out..
I keep some espresso coffee in the freezer and have an old Italian pot for when the Nespresso machine breaks down
well, I never went much on it, myself. I do wine and I do shots. too many calories in red bull.
unlikely
no calories in shots NB?
calories?
raofl
not none but less, Ruru ;) and less sugar.
I still want this on my bench : http://tinyurl.com/2g8wjp
mmmm uh huh
::dance::
nu uh
hellow evan.
Eva!! Happy wedding day!! :)
ight all
oh my, that was supposed to be Hello.

Hobbit and Spangle are a bit miffed that they're not to form a guard of honour.
My monkeys are napping.
es6 - follow a the petrol/gas people by opposite of out.
theyd look very pretty
ty haz
thanks haz...never would have found it...
You're welcome, wht.
No problem, red.
9 left but I really need to get things done today. I'll be back later to finish. Eva, I hope you have a wonderful day.
See you later, wht. It must be important if you're leaving with only 9 words to go...
Congratulations Eva!!!! Hope it's everything you want it to be~
Not that important, but they are 9 headscratchers. I'll come back to them later when my head is itchy.
They're probably some of those French words that have sneaked in.
si7? any clues?
si7 - ends in American spelling of not day, sounds like a poison?
Hello, All,
Thank you Haz!
Hello, Vi! You're in the grid!
A wee bit of you, that is.
I hope you have a great day, Eva, but more importantly, i hope you have a happy Ever After!
You're welcome, Magyk.
Ah yes, so I am. The whole thing has been in the grid only once, as far as I know.
Have you got over the disappointment of not being asked to favour the bridal pair with a solo?
Hah, how do you know I haven't? I'll be singing Elmer Fudd's serenade to Bugs-Bunny-disguised-as-Bwunhilde, from "What's Opera Doc."
It will be absowutewy wovewy.
(Wonders if all guests have been warned to bring ear plugs)
vi7? please?
I suppose they'll be able to explain their tears as 'emotion'.
vi7 - French for shop window/display cabinet. vi plus the ending of la***** when used to describe rudimentary toilet arrangements.
vi7/40 - a glass case, ends like camp lavatory
And then plural for vi8.
it would be emotion ...
Good point, Ata.
Yes, but what sort of emotion?
we'll leave that to them ...
I would imagine it would be the sort of emotion that would make EvaN's wedding fondly remembered for years.
=D
thank you both very much
There's a staged version of that opera on youtube. Is that you? (google what's opera doc)
remembered, certainly!
I saw that once Haz, when looking for the real thing. I was pretty amused.
Definitely fondly! Who wouldn't enjoy telling everyone they knew about an incident like that?
It's very funny.
Funniest wedding I was ever at was when one bridesmaid fainted, fell into the others and they all collapsed like ninepins on a wooden floor.
The noise was something else.
Oh my! I hope there were no serious injuries! But I suppose there were some pretty badly bruised eg4.
Nobody was seriously hurt, the minister decided it might be more prudent for the bridal party to sit down.
the build up for some of these massive wedding so so intense and so prolonged,it is a wonder everyone does not hit the ground on the big day lol
One of the more memorable wedding sermons I went to was where the minister spent the entire time explaining how dreadful marriage is, and how hard it would be and how much the couple would hate it... Rather horrifying at the time, but funny in retrospect.
Poor minister's wife if she had to listen!
other then getting a day booked, all i wanted was 20 minutes notice and for someone to hand me a bag with what i was supposed to wear inside of it..lol
G'day Cross.
lol - True. I didn't know the minister or the couple. I was there only in the capacity of "and guest."
howdy molly
the second se6/18?
se6/18 - the 100th part of a pa'anga
se6/18 - first three letters of the opposite of junior, then sandwich a beverage sounding letter between two vowels the same.

TY! OK, now I get the dog clue. I was thinking of dog breeds.
I should have mentioned movie in that clue. Need an afternoon nap I think.
I am close to tipping from vertical to horizontal.
tr7 - groups of three + vowel + plural

Hi nef
Goodmorning all !

Hi Lynxxx!
Thanks for a few trs Leslie.

lynx, fe 5/16 is a carpentry tool. An escutcheon is an ornamental plate around a keyhole or light switch. The fe 5, is a piece that fits on that. Vague, I know.
Sorry, carpentry term.

Back with oatmeal + frozen mixed berries.

Plural for letter S
Scrabs goes for fruits and grains. Bravo.
And plural for New Year's ***

Molly, I cannot believe you are typing and not filling a dish with ice cream + hot fudge.
Not me...but I do have some ripe bananas - have you all tried mashing frozen ripe bananas - super yummy
Oh bless Leslie. She has to go check. I always KNOW when there is ice cream in the house.
I had chocolate gelato at the supermarket a few days ago.

Hello! May be called away to chop onion shortly, but I'll see how many I can find before then...
Probably se6/18 involving a baby louse
we have an onion chopper in our midst! :-D
At least that's the weirdest one I've got.
i have one se 6/18, i always think of it as plural sixes
es6.21 or es6.18

yay! I speak french
LOL!
lol
i flunked french in college because i stood up to the professor. told her she needed to shave her armpits, use deodrant, be nicer, and to f**k off.
jmc, were you here earlier when Evanadine was waiting to get her hair done for the wedding? And Babbling! LOL
lovely, cos . . . . it was my majro
*major
darn i am sorry I missed her
lol une.. she later came to me the next semester said she was proud of me cause no one ever stood up to her before lol
twas fun -- we all got to send her wedding wishes :-)
i passed french in college by promising the professor i would never take french again
lol jmc
well that is what i get for actually working
:-(
what time is her wedding?
did you know they're honeymooning at DisneyWorld? :-)
the odd part is that my brother was offered the same deal at another college in another part of the state
yes, maybe they can drop in on redturtle
actually, I think it was an hour ago
well she is a wife now!
indeed! Sadie Sadie Married Lady!
exactly!
wow this grid is a bear
hadn't thought about Red being so close -- what a hoot!

hi nef thanks to you too!
hey, nef :-)
vi7 please
bye all
yw. How are you guys doing today?
bye bye jmc, take care
wonnerful wonnerful nef and you?
on one of the news shows they said the average amount Americans spend on a Halloween costume is $67.00 -- who ARE these people?! LOL
vi7 is French word for window
vi + tr5/10
second se 6 18 please x
Good gracious! I've never spent that much on a costume. Thrift store and piece things together.
I'm okay, Nonnie. Pulled a groin muscle and am limping around, but doing fine otherwise
Unea, I heard that too and was wondering the same thing!
ty une!
yw !
please help...es6/18
I wanted to make my grandson's costume...a robot out of cardboard boxes spray painted silver and use dryer vent ducting for the arms and legs. I thought is sounded cute but I couldn't convince his parents.
es6 old gas brand name + not out
sounds great, nonnie!!
thank you! Thank you!
I bought some costumes once on clearance from a rwental place; I think I got 5 adult costumes (2 monk robes with capes and rope belts; a clown costume, a dracula cape, and a witch costume with hat) all for $50. They are made of heavy duty fabric and we've used them for about 10 years now. But I can't imagine spending that much for 1 costume
one year I decided to be Pippi Longstocking -- a friend came over and braided my hair over bent coathangers -- it was so wide, I had to walk thru doorways sideways LOL
I'd made all of the costumes when the kids were little
sounds like a bargain nef.
and I had to ride to the party with my head hanging out the window LOL
what a deal, nef!
What a great idea, Unea!
And I love the robot idea....
lol, I would have likes to have seen that une.
I hope you didn't have to go on the freeway like that!
One year my husband was a trashcan. We took cardboard (again) spray painted it silver. The handles were straws that fold up on the ends. He was inside with the "trash" all around his head. It turned out great and was a bunch of fun.
god no! LOL -- just a mile or so down the road
that's hilarious!
2nd se 6 18 for fireworks!!!!!!!!!!!
Nonnie, it was a bargain. Through the years the kids have used the costumes and combined different parts together (although the clown costume doesn't go well with any of the others very well).
one year my artist friend Claudia wore a brown Hefty bag, glued pix of eyes all over it, made a flat square yellow "hat" and went as a baked potato!
(she also made giant cardboard utensils to carry LOL)
And then there was the outhouse. We constructed that out of lightweight wood and slipped it over him. When you opened the door, it looked like he was sitting there doing is business because you saw his upper body with the fake legs dangling down in front. We even had a pencil attached so the party goers could leave their words of wisdom on the outhouse walls.
nonnie, that's genius! LOL
lol love the baked potato idea.
ny dtr. was once an oreo cookie: I took 2 round circles of foam, she had white tights and turtlenec and we put white foam pillows on the sides. Her "best" costume ever though was when she got mad at me when she was a senior in HS
so much more fun than a "bought" costume!
great idea, nef!!
an oreo cookie! Great idea...I'm keeping these in mind for the grands when they get older.
Nonnie, my nephew was that style of robot last year, he and my sister made the costume,
Hello everyone! Lots of my favorite people here!
hey, red!
jmc was wondering if you're joining eva for her honeymoon at Disney World LOL
she wanted an expensive costume and I wouldn't buy her one. She went to her room and pouted for a while and when she came out she had a long sheath on (with only 1 arm in the dress, the other was through the neck opening with her head), a torn can-can slip on, her hair all ratted up and her make-up all askew with a big streak of blue from her eye to her mouth.
LOL!!
I asked what she was and she said "Barbie gone bad" It was Perfect!
One young gal from our church took a bunch of name tags with different poeples names on them and stuck them to herself. She was mistaken identity. I loved it because it was a great idea but so simple and hardly any cost involved.
hello red! I bet it was cute too.
I once knew a graphic designer who had a Halloween wedding -- it was outdoors -- guests had to enter thru the "gates of hell"
OH perfect!!!! My friend and I invented a doll that we want to market in Florida, called "Baker act Barbie" she looks like that, but comes with the hospital committment arm band and three hole gown....
lol nef...that is hilarious!
she wore a dress she'd dipped in tea and ripped
We think only other nurses will buy it.
lol red :-)
I believe I shall find the list, 35 left and I see nada....
How is everyone doing? Getting ready for Halloween?
hi red. I love these ideas!
go, red!
Everyone is so creative.
My daughters just gone out, wearing purple t-shirt, purple leggings, and about 100 purple balloons dangling off her. She is , apparently, a bunch of grapes....
Oh wow, she needs to go with a bottle of wine!
Hmmm. I think the bottle of wine bit has been done...........
that's a great idea too; Soodle! I think it's great to use your imaginations instead of buying and dressing in pre-made costumes
Sarah's friend was dressed in black, with 3 pairs of tights dangling off her.... as the Black
Hic...widow...
lucyloo se6/18 se your five se***s substitute vowel for the third letter
my DH and dtr. used to clown with a clown group when my dtr. was in grade school; clown make-up is great for finishing off some costumes
With all the doom and gloom in this country at the moment - I applaud the youngsters throwing themselves into the whole Halloween thing... Go forth and enjoy!!!
So fun, and I agree Nef, I think it was always more fun to build the costume rather than get it from the shelf.
oops sajarn its the other one i want.....se6 18
so, do any of you plan to go partying for Halloween? I usually stay home and hand out candy as a silly witch (because I don't want to scare the little kids)
same here, nef
Heh heh heh.... I love to terrify the wits out of kids/adults/debt collectors......
I think I am working, I hate giving out Candy as it gets the dog sort of nuts. Wish I could do like they did, put a bowel out, but...these days the kids will just dump the whole bowl...into their bag.
red's putting out a bowel? LOL
Hi everyone...house cleaned... now I can play...hi une, red, nef, soodle, lucy!!
well! that would be very frightening, and smelly!
we were talking at work about teens trick or treating. I said they have to have a costume to get treats from our house. It kind of bugs me when they come in their "normal" clothes and have pillow cases and want candy
hey, jilly -- come clean mine!
hi jilly!
I agree nef. I want to see costumes.
hi Jilly!
hello jilly!
lol...need airfare tho une!!
es 6/21 clue?
the essence of somthing.
Does anybody know where the whole halloween thing started? I am not (quite) ancient, but it seems to have taken legs since I was a kid....
hi, everyone. back to finish. just had some friends around, so I have a little facepaint in my hair.
es**** de core (sp?)
Hi nonnie!
Cos... A major oil company plus opposite of out,,,
Hi NB!
e + fairy - final e
One gal said that she had the same rule and when she told that to a bunch of kids, they left. But one came back 5 minutes later and had leaves in his hair and dirt on his face: he said he was a tree! She laughed so hard she gave him extra!
corps LOL
Nancy!!! How lovely to see you :-)

((((Jellen)))
go jilly go and HI jellen.
how cool red! I love that show.
hi, Jellen :)
Hi Jellen!
1
I love that show too, red. post your link
It is neat to see her on there, last week apparently her bowl caught on fire...
If you could vote for her, the link is http://tinyurl.com/29uv9ww
and done! fw
congrats jilly
She is dropping behind a bit, but she's such a pistol, and only like 4 fett 11 inches...
I made a silly agreement with m9 last night that we both would work on our clutter for an hour each day, before we could get fireworks...guess who hasn't done her hour??
okay...I'm gonna go and shower this stuff out of my hair!
uh, you jellen?
Just went and voted red...
DIng, ding, ding! That is correct, red!
brb...voting...
well, there is still time Jellen.
Jilly, you are awesome! I love Babblers! they are always so good to help out.
red, i just voted for her the max 9 times! LOL
Une, you are great!
I didn't see the fire episode, red, but I've seen her before and liked her. My vote is in!
jellen, your discussion in the chog inspired me -- i did a bit of decluttering today!
Thank you all! and she is cool.
Voted red and saved to my favorites so I can vote again each day.
And a product of a good solid Quaker education!
I love you guys!
Okay, my turn, a local NP is going for $250,000 grant from Pepsi. This theatre arts program is awesome...link is:http://www.refresheverything.com/mi ssoulachildrenstheatre

Voted and bookmarked!
Thanks Jellen, Cos, here is the link again, vote for Celina Tio http://tinyurl.com/29uv9ww

Wow, everyone thanks. it will change with all this. and Jilly I just voted for the childrens theatre in Missoula! how neat!
Hello, Une :-)
Hi zooz!
Hello Zooz. Nice to see you, and hello Jellen. Hugs all round....
oh cool, going onto Jillys site now :-)
Jilly, when I first read about the group you're promoting, it said 65,000 children and I thought that Missoula barely had that as a total population (then I read about the touring companies)
hi zoozz
Yes, all over the world now. My kids did it every year. In one week the team auditions parts, practices and the kids perform. Everyone gets a part of some sort....God bless 'em!
clue for ir6/18 (not the flower)
If anybody feels like voting..please go onto www.powerswhiskey.ie, and vote for griffins pub, trim, co meath. (its my local, and I know this is cheating, but, what the heck)
irritate the flower cos.
Hello, Nef :-)
infection of ir4/4
on my way soodle! I love how we can support each other.
going now, soodle..lol
hmmm
Oh, thank you Red, Zooz!!! I love it!! This will guarantee me heaps of free drink!!!!!
No problem supporting a pub soodle...one of these days I'll come and see you!
Oh I want to go to Ireland, I am obsessed with the Giants Causeway.
Really, Red? I went up there this summer, and was bitterly disappointed.... A pile of stones in the sea.
Hmm soodle...it won't take my birthdate...lol...I am of age...
Jilly - Count yourself lucky!!!!
ok thats done, any more voting needed :-)
well that is what it is right? I guess I have seen some photos and want ot walk on it, plus I am rather into some of the Mabinogin stories of Irland that I think involve the causeway a bit...
but I find some of our state parks to be less than appealing...
Zooz - Your a gentleman! Next time your in Ireland, I will treat you to a pint!
I need to get dinner started. I hope to see all you good people later.
Bye Nonnie, have a great day and I hope your grands have a fun trick or treat!
thanks red :o) bye bye *poof*
Bye Nonie.
Hey, Soodle, looks like O`conners is right behind you in the votes, although you are a couple of hundred votes ahead. :-)
Soodle...I even have several "party pieces" ready for my trip!
I voted for your pub too, Soodle. But I didn't register. I was a bit worried; but finally found it back on page 8
Bye Nonnie!
Pish posh, Zooz - with Babblers on board, we will walk it. Jilly - a special place is being reserved for you and your party pieces as I type!!! And thank you Nef!!!
voted for the pub, and missoula and Celina on iron chef, whats next!

Oh yes, i hope , Eva is having a great day today!!
thanks zooz..in celebration of evanadines wedding
Oh my.... A toast to Eva......
I heard they are going to disney land for the honymoon!
How nice! How fun! We did two things, a brief honeymoon right after the wedding then a move and the second we also went to Disneyland!
Sounds great, seen Disneyland on tv, but never been myself.
ok, off to read a chapter in my new book, nice chatting to you, All, hope to see you tomorrow. Happy babbling, All :-)
It's fun but getting awfully crowded.
I have been to Disney World once, not really my thing, but a Super business model. Being once is a bit shameful as I live 22 miles north of it.
See you zooz!
If you go on days that arent holidays its nice.
don
don
t feel bad red. i went cause of kids and never would have gone otherwise ... not my thing either
done? congrats!
I think I might enjoy it more with actual children, or maybe because I did not have an opportunity to meet all the characters, that I would have enjoyed, having my picture with minnie and mickey!
Actually, despite being a MT native, I went to HS in California. The most fun was Senior night...got to go for 3 year (went twice as a caregiver plus my senior year)
I bet the senior night was a blast there.
i probably did enjoy it more because of my kids, but even so, it just smacked of abundant commercialism and i didn't like it at all
We last went when our youngest was 6...would never have traded seeing his face when Mickey Mouse 'found' him!!
In Disney World, I do love some of the Gardens and I enjoy seeing the fireworks (I sometimes see them from home if they are big that night) and I think the night parade is fun...
i think the look on my face when he found a lizard was better. i'm just more of a nature lover, i guess. mickey didn't really even do it for me when I was a kid back in the days of black and white tv
Well, must toddle off to fix dinner for hubby...may bb later
sorry, mean the look on the kid's face. Ihad my wine already)
*poof*
*poof*
yo uknow, I think it's different for everyone. Most of us locals now go down for the Special events which are fun. and there was something so neat about seeing the little girls going about the park dressed up like little princesses.

Ooo, Nan. Can't wait to see the pictures. I'm Irish. We love our salmon. No, I don't need help. I think I'll just monkey type around and see what happens. Thanks though.

Ahhh, this seems to be the weak for frustrating teenage daughters....am glad I only had boys!!
she's 7!
*week,, but interesting misspelling!!
yes, I liked it
Having had 1 of each; I think they both have their moments
Well, I hear this one the other day "Parenthood: the first 40 years are the hardest"
cool, my parentals can finally relax!
I do remember a few hormonal moments with our oldest son....
My baby - my daughter- turned 28 this month; I wish I'd had her when I was younger and had more energy
i have a 16 year old son..monosyabic,angst filled,unless money is involved,then he becomes quite articulate;/
Well, I'm just glad I had mine @ 25 and 28. Some of my classmates were having babies in their late 30's and early 40's.
i have decided,i have a friend with 2 adult boys, both moved back in with pregnant girlfriends,so what he did was sign the house over to them, and he and the wife were the ones to leave!!!
i had my son at 32 and am still happy to romp with him
I had my kids in my mid 30's. I was a late bloomer. ;-)
hi all
hi jmc
they got a nice little place on the west coast, small enough so no one could move in lol
Well my oldest gave us the most trouble in the teens. But our youngest was not obviously struggling...however he was; he is gay and was really going through things...I wish I had known then..
my son finally got the clue last week when I kept referring to the room he called his as the guest room
lol jmc!!!
hey he was dieing to move out-- he can't have it both ways
lol jmc, sign the house over and run!!!

Anyone have a clue for the si7,28, please?
si7 might be a name for someone from a small city near Florence, IT
Found it already, but thank you! :)
* thinking *
Pini, just read your story about waxing, I still have tears running down my cheeks (facial!) from laughing so hard. well written. I have used those same strips myself...
Fuzzy...I've never used 'em...I didn't write the piece (it's something my dau passed on to me and I just couldn't pass up posting it) LOL
Ah yes - isn't that funny? And painful! Made me feel quite thankful to be male! Not that I haven't been waxed - once. Never again! :/
got it! :)
In fact, I couldn't let the waxer continue - agony! :(
Oh - what did you have waxed, Julian?!
Pini, I am glad that didn't actually happen to you.
I can't even imagine being waxed there!!!!
J.C, waxing only hurts the first time!
What do you think, Jesse? :P
And I don't think so, fuzzybunny - why would it hurt any less if I were to attempt it again?
You can't even imagine being waxed where, Pini?
Your skin toughens up to the pain!
as described in the post, JC
I think Pini meant, in Toledo
waxing only hurts the first time because sensible people never do it again :P
ROFL
That's right, NB!!! :)
Ah yes, Pini...
And quite, Jesse. ;)
I have no sense, have been waxing legs for 30 years...
had my legs waxed once. it wasn't by choice. I woke up at a sleepover and my friend had put the waxing strips on me! horrible girl :P
ouch!
naughty trick
Ouch, Jesse. :/
Was that Cathy?
No, a girl called Sarah - the one who was in my previous icon pic!
