happy birthday mrs ru xxx for putting up with him ;-)
interesting, belated b'day greetings Mrs. Ru
hmmm, haven't had lamb in about 25 years, used to date a guy who loved it... should renew my interest in it, maybe
I had never had lamb until I met hubby
make sure you get SSI lamb -- or NZ
Colorado lamb is better here than NZ lamb
I'd love to try SSI lamb
Yes and what about Welsh lamb - even better?
come and visit, ruru, with the missus and Dylan
have trouble with hubby wanting to cook rabbits, turtles, other wild things all the time... he'd no doubt like lamb, too - anything unusual
lamb is unusual????
I don't think Welsh lamb is imported here??
it would be for us
(unusual, I mean)
We don't need Welsh lamb -- bet it's good, though.
it shouldn't be rbud.. it's pasturized..lol
for me too, had I not met hubby!
not in the local stores, really, don't know where I'd have to go to get some.
*giggle*

central Illinois
not near enough to Chicago to shop there
what does the 9 begin with?
the former BF and I used to have to go to one spedial store to get the lamb back then, too, not common in Iowa, either.

Finally, one off of that stubborn fourth row t.
gm people
molly, I am not really here yet, but did want you to know - yup! missed it. But THEN I remembered, and got it!
Hi! Good morning!
Hi Car. Hello Trif, who is here but not here.
Hey there Jean, how are you doing today?
just slogging through
early flight to NJ tomorrow for wake and funeral
Some days, that is all you can do. How is your nephew's fiance holding up?
she is devastated
it will hit much harder when all the commotion dies down
She will need a lot of love and support. I will keep her in my prayers. What is her name?
Kelly
Jean, there was a story about your nephew on the news last night. They said he was a much beloved police officer. They were down in Lakewood, NJ and showed a picture of Chris and his fiancee. Also spoke to his friends. Everyone is very devastated.
yes the outpouring has been beyond belief
Good. I will send out special blessings for Kelly. I think the nicest thing you can do for someone who has lost a loved one is to be there a month later, when everyone has "gone back to normal life".
and the month after that and the month after that . . .
Hi. Blessings be
she has a wonderful mother and sister, a lot of friends, and the cops will be looking out for her
I can tell you from experience that a lot of people promise things early on that they don't follow through on later.
Molly is absolutely right.
I tend to try and have faith in my friends
hello for real, now. Esprit, I did not know you had a loss in your family. I will pray for Kelly, and for you all. I am so sorry to hear this news
thank you all
car, my love, are you still here?
What I have learned is to gently remind people. For instance, the other night my son was really missing his Dad and step Dad. I called his brother and arranged for a "guy day" yesterday. It was very good for the boy.
Molly - I like the quotes in your profile, and I remember that episode of B&S
Yes Trif. Just got back on.
{{{espritdjean}}}
ty car. hugs are good therapy
Hi Trif
and Car
I will also be praying for Kelly, the family, and for you for safe travels.
Good morning Herin! How are you? What is the status of the flooding now?
No idea Care I stopped looking
I am frustrated by the very little coverage on the news here, but I have told everyone about it and to pray for our Aussie friends.
I know that Vic is flooded near the border
Jean, I have to go back and read that quote from time to time, to keep things in perspective.
Car, need to give you a quick heads up - -- tertiare has a rotten cold, but went trundling off to school anyway, as I am working 10 - 3:15. If she tanks, the school will call you. If that is not going to work, lmk, and I will arrange something else
molly, that quote helped ME a lot as well, so thank you for posting it.
Car www.theage.com.au is the better for news
I am taking Mom to her podiatry appointment this morning and then will be here almost all day.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww there is a baby warthog on the telly
okay. fun with dr lawrence!!! Love that guy, he is a riot
herin, check out my icon pic today!
Is that a Terra Pic?
WOW! When did he do that one?
primo did it.
Wow
Need to get Zack on the bus and then shower. BBL. Have a good day all.
over the long weekend, car...it's for an advanced grade, or something. Jody and I both said the exact same thing, which is so funny: "great job, but see? you DO need to sit up straight!"
morning..i see annie finally has her larger grid
Your son drew that Trif? Wow, he is VERY talented.
morning carlee, and LOL, I thought that exact same thing!
yes, molly, he did, and I am the usual proud.
it is a lovely self portrait ( i am presuming is a self portrait...)
Trif, my oldest did an over the shoulder full length self portrait for his senior project in art school. It hangs proudly in my hallway.
Trif, Wow. That is great. Your son has talent.
Opps I meant the oldest. Sorry. I was desperatly trying to think of his ''name
yes, it is carlee. the nose isn't exactly right, but the expression is DEAD on, and the posture too, sadly!
hahaah...but its...natural
I marvel at all the small details - the pattern on the rug, the necklace he wears, the folds in the shirt. I just marvel at what he can do
hmmm - sad. no love for the Hoff in todays grid, lololol
Esprite did I scare you off
i am still trying to see out my eyes
what carlee?
they are sooo sore this morning..i slept..but my eyes really hurt
what is wrong with your eyes, my love?
they are just...sore...
tired..i woke up feeling like i was in a smoky club all night last night
whoa. are you going to get that checked out? it sounds awful!
no....in another 30 mins will feel normal
are you sure? that sounds most concerning
i think with onset of menopause my eyes are just dryer..if that makes any sense...i've had to use eye drops for first time in life..about the same time as i became premenopausal
god help us all. menopause. A pause, to reconsider men.
i just wake up with super tired eyes...
so....annie..are you enjoying your big grid?
Carlee, are your eyes itchy? Could it be conjunctivitis?
no..not itchy...just...tired :)
they already better
I wish we had this grid yesterday when I had the time but will break this up into segments throughout the day...do you like this grid, carlee?
I am addicted to babble...I am powerless
i think i am just bored with babble again.... in another week or so i will sink my teeth in again
whoops! just found my daughter in the grid!
Dry eyes are a side effect of menopause. It can be worse if you use antihistamines.
Trif, first 2 letters please
there we go...menopause... as i thought...the timing coincided :)
its not a real word, annie....fi, anyway
good afternoon all how many words today please
fiona?
239, sandra.
Apparently, lack o'estrogen messes with a lot of things. It's recommended that you boost your water intake.
and yes annie, and drat, it is snowing again. sigh
ding ding ding for me
alrighty then....thanks molls :)
It is a mixture of rain and snow here
thanks a biggie today
I am getting a lot more relaxed about using their real names on line, now that 2 of them have FB accounts anyway....
rain freezing rain and snow for us today..yippee
We had freezing rain overnight. Everything is closed. If I go into work, it will be much later.
just a first name is not a problem..not the entire name
i never worried about my kids names.. my theory is..there are millions of people online....why would anyone specifically pick me....the odds...
we had FR overnight too...but was done by 4 am ( when my cell phone went off to let me know the freezing rain was done)
My husband used to post his kids pictures on line. I put a stop to that real quick.
I dont know why I am paranoid about it. I just am, I guess.
my kids post pics....
I put family photos on FB, molly....
better to be paranoid then sorry, as they say
I have everything private
Yeah, but Trif, I would assume your Facebook settings are for "private".
My husband was posting his kids pictures on a general message board.
I think they are, yes, but I know primo and secondo dont privatize their stuff, and they are friends with hundreds of school mates, and friends from other schools. at a certain point, they are out there, and it's done. I tell them ALL them time, don't ever, ever ever put something online and think it's private, because it just ....isn't. not even email
Isnt barette an accepted word in the english language? Is not Enable an english dictionary? Oh well, no fighting with Enable
I think it has two r's, annie
there nbt
thanks trif..I feel better now ..I thought it might have 2 R's
oh! I almost forgot! Took my mom to see "the king's speech" this weekend, and was BLOWN AWAY. It's so, so so amazingly good! Highly recommend!
is it enertaining or gut wrenching?
that film is on my netflix list
hmmm. not gut wrenching. but difficult, yes, in parts, only because you feel so keenly for this poor man, trying to get his words out. Mostly it was funny, and really inspiring, and so well done. And did I mention, Colin Firth?
i am in a place right now i can only handle entertaining movies...too much drama in life..i dont choose drama in my spare time
Jennifer Ehrle (sp?) who was, of course, in P&P with him back in the day, plays Geoffery Rush's wife, and the scene when they meet has an extra layer of humor on it, just for that factor
carlee, you would love it. I promise. it's a great escape
i can handle sweet home alabama and dirty dancing..that is about as much as i can take
Carlee you need to watch the early years of Roseanne
Thanks for the recommendation Trif. There are so few movies I will spend my time on these days. I'm with Carlee. Too much drama in real life. The Black Swan? No freaking thanks.
we doing last season of ugly betty and first season of glee
people actually broke out into applause at the end. when that last time you heard THAT?
but thanks..i might consider it..my son just got netflicks for his xbox...we enjoying this season of top gear
Rocky, is the ONLY time I heard applause in the movie theater.
the king's speech has MUCH less drama and angst than last season on glee, I promise!
sadly when i went to last twilight in theatres... the 3rd one
I hope nancy boy drops in today. he doesn't speak to me anymore, but I would love for him to see primo's art sample....
My shows that I watch on DVD are Brothers & Sisters and Parenthood. I seem sucked into family shows these days. Perhaps it's the circle of love and support they portray.
molly, i am a b&S fan too, and was concerned to hear that are not sure they are being picked up for another season!
Trif, I hope you and NB can work out whatever went wrong. Perhaps ask him for an email talk about it?
I would LOVE that molly!
i never watched that one...
he just stopped speaking to me, entire
Trif, the Brothers & Sisters writers are not up to snuff this season. I will be sad, but not surprised, if they are not renewed. Did you see it this week? What is up with Balthazar Getty? He looks ill.
I agree, molly. Too much time with Sienna Miller, I guess! She looks like she could wear a man out.
morning all, help with bottom i pls

hiya all
hey thre mm, have not seen you in a long time
hi mm
hello movie man!
what do you favor this year for the oscars, MM?
I saw 'The KIng's Speech' yesterday and I thought it was fantastic as well
The King's Speech, Black Swan, Social Network
I have not seen the other two yet.
Hernin, Getty already left the show. He was back last night as a special guest.
Black Swan is next for me (on Friday)
did you get the golden globe awards show on sunday night over there?
ricky gervais was REALLY rude! I wonder why they keep asking him to host things.
Didn't see it, can't stand Ricky myself
he was mean, Trif.
O ok Molly
did anyone see piers morgan last night?
but I have to admit, I did laugh, at places, but mostly the shocked kind. Like when he introduced Bruce Willis as "Ashton Kutcher's dad...."
That is so worth it though
i didnt carlee, no
hmmm.. i like him as an interviewer but the continual self doubt was annoying...it was don to be self deprecating..and to presume to bow to the master of interviewers ( oprah..whom i cannot stand....) but it got annoying
will be interesting to see how he manages howard stern
Hi fellow babblers!
hi bb
I think Gervais was over the top and did his career a HUGE disservice with his comments at The Globes.
be 6/36 plz
I tend to agree, molly. I LOVED the Office, and Extras, but I won't ever watch his stand up again, and I thought he was just mean on Sunday.

there is a lot of horsing around in the grid
I love big grids and I type furiously until I hit a wall after a 100 words or more.
Happy Tuesday everyone.
Hi Sue & Mom
{{MOM}}

Wooo hooo, Sue!!! Keep going!
oh no, no question. I wanted to tell you that your beloved will be filming a movie here (he also grew up here) and they are looking for hundreds of extras and a few small roles
which beloved? johnny depp?
Congratulations Sue! What a great achievement.
George, Trif
good morning Babblers :)
((nono)) good morning
George! He will be Piers Morgan's guest on Friday. Nick Clooney was a newsman on one of our TV stations maybe 20 yrs ago.

Scrab it sounds like this could be your chance
Hey Nono

whooooo - indy is looking to get his little doggie arse KICKED. He just picked up one of diggity's toys, ran over to diggity, and dropped it right in front of his nose! bad move, puppy of mine!
I have enjoyed watching my friend's 2 dogs together--3 yr old Choc Lab + 2 yr old Peke-a-Poo. The size difference makes their actions even funnier.
indy has grown so big, and so fast! diggity is really not too chuffed with this development, and keeps giving me this "you never said it was going to get BIGGER" look
too funny trifs...
I think indy must be the size of your average beagle about now
BBS, going to play words on FB.

hi river, nono
hi Annie, hows your weather this morning
rain and snow mixed, just generally miserable and yours?
lets see how far i can get w/o any stats
cold but no precip right now
snowing pretty hard here
Back again, briefly. I must get on with my day off.
another nasty ride into work - supposed to get 6 inches or so and then change to sleet and freezing rain - would rather it stay snow
i live in an area that seems to be a protected little pocket in the winter, a bit too far from the lakes for lake effect snow and just far enough inland to avoid the storms that come up the coast most of the time
*mother is on the phone*
be careful, river
i dont blame you River, you have some control in snow, Ice is a whole different story
hi scrabbs..
Icy roads he4.
will do - just take it slow - no hurry either way
kids are home from school - another snow day - lucky them
Only one local school is closed he4. A school 15 miles north.
I think the whole state is closed down here including colleges
I must get back to work - leave my last 82 for later - enjoy your day everyone
Bye RD

Scrabs, tie up or te6 your horse
Aha, now I get it.
sorry scrab - i never know which tile it is going to register for - ea5 could be spelled from either of 2 e's, so i dont know if the t's i could clue for you would be for that t or the other one.
I know, but it turns out I did need those ea words from that e anyway. I have had a migraine for > 24 hrs and am in a fog.
it always comes from the upper left tile first hoya
ah - learn something new every day
poor scrabs! *brews a cup of green tea*
it took me forever to understand that rule and I still forget!
If I cannot abort it within the first few hrs it will last approx 2 days, so I have to wait til tomorrow.
i dont have the patience to figure out if a word can come from more than one tile - i'm just happy to get it! :D
lol
Alright, time for me to get going. I will spend the afternoon and evening with my friend's 3 kids.
well when you are going for nbt you gotta learn the rules
have fun with the kids Scrabs be careful on the roads

Is the dh6 an uncommon word? I can't think of any words beginning with dh.
not common--one of those "no dictionary results"
dh + double vowel and sun god
ty!
Yes it required a trip to Lickety's lists. I think it is another way of spelling a word to do with rugs
Hello hoyadoc. Have you seen the plant called a hoya? an amazing plant.
i cant say that i have heard of it. is it blue and gray? ;)
No, it has spherical flower heads with little florets that look artificial as if they are made of cream velvet. Seed pods are little cubical packets. Maybe a Mediterranean plant.
also a vine - hi all
Used to work in a greenhouse and we hung them up high. Beautiful, long-lasting flowers.
Been trying to find one here but no go

this is a nice grid for a snow day
freezing rain day here, Dorens. Yucky!!
mix of everything here.. rain..snow.. freezing rain.. wind.. YUCK
well, we had a couple of inches of snow up here before it turned into freezing rain. lost electricity for a while this morning and i am afraid it might happen later on for a longer time.
Oh no Dorens! Didn't clean the car off yet because it's still freezing rain. Thankfully no power problems so far. Fire whistle blew earlier; thinking an accident on the local highway.
still snowing like crazy here - hello everyone
I'm driving up to Boston on Friday river, hope you don't have any more snow in the forecast!
I heard 1-3 on Friday - still too soon to tell
48 left, gotta go. Bbl.
Hi riverdance, would you ratner have our freezing rain? We dont dare to leave the house in southern Michigan
i once drove up there during snow, when Phoebe was only a couple of months old and i just couldn't stand not seeing her. a very memorable drive!
Oh I am sure - best to be careful and take it slow if you must come
unfortunately inge, its supposed to change over here this afternoon to sleet and freezing rain - hope they let us out of work early before that happens. I would much rather drive in snow.
and this time i know to avoid the merritt parkway! it was just dreadful... but it was lots of snow coming down..
hi all! did I hear merritt parkway?
I've been shovelling slush off my balcony to prevent collapse
yes harry, just said that i have learned to avoid it in heavy snow!
we had major leakage in the house last week from an ice dam
oh no. i've had ice dams... they are nasty
good idea dorens...avoid CT in general in heavy snow :)
Hi Harry - are you vented into your attic?
hard to get from NJ to Mass without CT... it can be done via thruway, but not sure if it makes sense
it's a mess rd - we've only had the house a year - they replaced the slate roof with asphalt shingles, and made a mess of it....there's a section with flat roof and no insulation (!!!)
dorens - TZ to 287 to 684 to 84 to mass pike
it's the hypotenuse
oh no Harry - when we first bought our house 24 years ago we had bad ice dams - once we revented the bathrooms and insulated well, it all stopped
yup.. i used to always go that way harry... i've found i much prefer the merritt.. mch more pleasant, no trucks and i manage to make good time... but NOT in bad weather... 684 then for sure
yes, we'll ahve to replace sections of roof and insulate well
you have summer projects planned now harry, yes?
insulation is well worth it
merritt is nice when there's no traffic...but one slowpoke and you're finished
May I ask why you replaced a slate roof???
I've spent lots of time insulating the knee walls and crawl spaces, but hadn't know that the ceiling spaces were uninsulated
hoot - previous owner.
i know how to get around slowpokes on the merritt.. and it keeps me awake, having to figure out my moves...
oh - idiot
house needed a new roof and he didn't want to spring for slate
then sells it to you... nice
went with some fly-by-night roofer, and they screwed it all up
hi,just shoveled ice from the back driveway and my jeans are soaking wet :(
it was his mother's and she died
My ubderstanding is that slate is forever. Maybe replace afew over time?
slate is very expensive, though. and does need replacing sometimes.. my bf last year had to
slate lasts about 100 years, I think. The house was built in 1915, so it was about time
we'd be out about $40k to put up slate
fortunately he was ridiculousy rich..
so can he pay for ours too?
pity - you should sue him...and report that "roofer" to BBB
Doren, who is the cute baby?
my grandson Levi, the pic is old, but adorable
ok...kids are fighting. bbl
he was my bf LAST year, harry
ah well. i'm down to less than 100 and ready to have some breakfast... coffee alone just doesn't make it
when I sat down I reqalized I was soaked to my skin, had to change pants :)
Good morning everyone
hello seaspray
Hi River...thought I killed the chog
nope - just busy looking for words
Morning SeaSpray and Riverdance and Peri. Watching the View while Babbling.
Did you get snow, sleet, and freezing rain like we did Judy?
Sea, that is what we are having now
Dorens, my daughter works in Milford and she said the commute was a "bitch"
Was nasty overnight, roads a mess this morning but I guess its with you now Annie :(
getting deep outside my window here...
I had to walk about 3 city streets and it was horrible. Not going out again today.
River, maybe you should start thinking about calling it a day and going home
stay in warm and safe Annie - nothing is that important today
SeaSpray, yes--snow overnight and now the sleet/freezing rain. Really sucko. I opted to take the day off.

It's nice out here in Napa

*looking for suitcase*
"tosses Judy spare suitcase"
""prays airport is not closed""
you guys have really been getting a ton of snow
actually this is a rather mild winter for us ruru, last year we got nailed with 4 feet in 5 days
more down south than us up here but we did get 18 inches last week and now predicting another 10 before it turns to freezing rain/sleet
Wow River, you must be North of me

Hi there all. Anyone want any clues before I go get apple pie from oven?
hello inge
crossy..i think if you and i lived closer...we'd be in danger of creating some pretty fab stuff
No clues Scouse...just pie and ice cream please. : )
I'd rather have the pie than the clues! hello scouser
*Molly and Ruby line up for pie*
Hi ruby. It is not a proper pie from scratch. It came out of an Aunt Bessie's box...
i'm full from watching the video...
repeat: I just got fireworks and alll of you are my wtinesses. The perfect score I got yesterday set me back 9 points in teh rankings. I am al little pi____off. Dr God sasy he is rewaming the archives, not to worry.
I'll get the warm sweet cream ready!
of that i am sure carlee
!!!!!!!! INGE !!!!!!!!!!
There are some food words in the grid today.
that is definitely poopy, inge. Congrats anyway!!!!
*~*~*POMPOM TOSS*~*~*for inge
yaa for inge!
Well done inge
since I almost never finish, I have stopped looking at the rankings
i never do either... food porn is how i gauge a grid
i look at them once every 6 months
Perfect score?
yaa for food porn!
How does someone get a perfect score here?
finishing the grid every day for months on end..i dont know
I get what I get, except when FM carries me over the end. In a year and a couple of weeks, I think I've finished 5 or 6 times
Ah ha...well that will never be me. What's up with the new flag Carlee? Did I miss something?
just.....my silent support
perfect score, that's me in a bathing suit RAOFL!!!
well, getting fireworks means you got a perfect score that day. Now the chat log is acting up for me.
best way to have it ruby...less stress
Aha - I did wonder about the flag too. Good idea Carlee
oh my god... just saw sex in a pan carlee..... will put me right off my diet!!
aaah, I just got it, yay carlee!
politics are always a bad idea in chat....i keep ending up with people PO'd with me for it..so... am silently supporting...
how could anybody get mad at you carlee!
ok..dorens... word to the wise..do NOT go back in teh chog and look at the videos i posted for crossy
i like politics... except when people are idiots
lol
ok i won't.. but next time i need to bring something to a potluck... it will be sex in a pan
unless of course....u want to imagine crossy having a mental coronary....
hahah dorens and hello
for those who missed it,here it is....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZDv9pg Hp8Q
oh no......the tears are starting again...and i need to pee
someone once got angry at me here for politics... she wa being an idiot.. of course. And I am going to resist this video, whatever it is
mmm sex in a pan...with or without da gravy?
its a desert crossy
look at carlee's profile crossy.. no gravy, no bacon, might not apppeal to you
OH a deseert..i am sorry was thinking of something else...
oh..man...i think i need to watch that video again..just to laugh my ass off again
but i have made a topping for angel food cake that is somewhat similar and it is delicious, this looks even better
would need a pretty big pan!
One of the ba- words is to do with bacon. Have you found it yet crossy?
indeed, better have a nice edge on it so things do not slide over the edge
hello all, back from donating blood again :)
oooh..my fav for angel food cake... is soo simple..cool whip with those candy sprinkles..the coloured ones....after a couple hours they just become coloured dots on the cake
Ha!
hello peri
this one is coolwhip/pistachio pudding/cocoanut/pineapple
Here in UK I have not seen the flour we had in Canada for making angel food cake.
( and i cut the cake in half...make a little trough in it and put cherry pie filling and put top back on...then frost just with coolwhip laced with candy sprinkles
down to 34 with no list... definite wall now
can I come to your house, carlee?
There is a recipe for angel food cake mix with canned pineapple. no additional liqueid, Mix and bake 30 minutes.
i think molls had a heart attack after that video crossy..she's been pretty silent
that sounds like heaven!
Well done Doren. I had to go to peek in the lists at about 84.
I have 75 left but that's about it for me, I fear
come on over ruby...i'll save u a bottle of misty jack
she probably fell on the floor laughing
i have 76 left and stuck
lol carlee
(i have caught a couple of clues that were freely given when i was on before, must give credit where credit is due)
No Carlee - if her computer is not in the kitchen you will have to wait until she has finished making everything. Twice.
nobody told me, what is misty jack????
I presume you drink it?
barrel wash from canadian mist and jack daniels..blended together
never heard of it
jack daniels? applejack?
crossy and i made it up :)
carlee and crossy make for a great party!
crossy..thats it..we are just going to have to try it sometime
Hmm - in Newfoundland we used to have something called Screech - bottom of rum barrels. A head-removing drink.
a barrel was mixture of canadina mist and jack daniels
much like screech scouser
I once spent 2 long nights in Gander!!!
you know crossy..i think we might need to tweak it a bit with a bit of sugar....not sure tho...
and how was hospitality rubby?
the newfies are amazing.salt of the earth people.would give you the clothes off their back
warmer than the air
I was there in the 1960s. One time we had to go by bus from St Johns to Gander cos no fly from St.J that day. Aargh
i really want to visit the rock
However we did go on the "Newfie Bullet" - the train that went right across Newfoundland. I believe they have abandoned it now. Sad.
I was there in Sept 1964 when the charter airline had a wildcat strike -- en route to St. Louis from Paris
so..crossy what for dinner at your house?
Ah - just before. We were there Jan 65 - summer 69. I had super job as PA to M.D. of an import firm specialising in engineering: bridges, railway, X-ray, you name it.
funny, scouser, I was there with a baby in diapers -- not much fun
your story was much better!
We came back to England before my son was born. I pity you at Gander then - pretty basic airport - and this is before the day of dispo-diapers.
I go rescue the pie now. Bye now. Aaaargh - a poet!

It was a doctor's regular habit to stop off at a bar for a hazelnut daiquiri on his way home and, aware of his habit, the bartender would always have the drink waiting for him at precisely 5:18 PM. One afternoon as the end of the work-day neared the bartender was dismayed to find he was out of hazelnut extract but, thinking quickly, he threw together a daiquiri made with hickory nuts and set it on the bar. The doctor came in at his regular time, took one sip of the drink, then exclaimed: "This isn't a hazelnut daiquiri", to which the bartender replied, "No, I'm sorry, it's a hickory daiquiri, doc

A hungry lion was roaming through the jungle looking for something to eat when he came across two men; one was sitting under a tree reading a book while the other was typing away on his typewriter. The lion quickly pounced on the man reading the book and devoured him proving even the king of the jungle knows that readers digest and writers cramp.
i came across a video that had crossy's name all over it

It's just how my brain works
wow that was useful i just got the email that tells me the feds are operating on a 2 hour delay today--8 hours late!
Typical, Jmc.
what does that mean jmc?
actually i usually get it at 5 a.m.
it means you can come into work 2h later than usual if you're a federal worker, in this case due to ice that fell overnight.
hey, yall :)
i told my staff that if the federal government is closed due to inclement weather or planes flying into buildings the office is closed
oh, I see. Hi and thanks DC
so i keep track --2 hour delays means nothing to me personally though
Hello, DC :-)
Two food-related words that are in the grid but not in Enable: b**ner (but I gather bad slang in America?) and hoosh which is a W. African stew.
hello, lyn, jmc, zooz, boo, kaplan, et al
neither does liberal leave (you can take a vacation day without prior permission)
b***er is a baseball that hits someone in the head.
i was surprised about be**er too scous
hi dc
liberal leave?
Unscheduled Leave is the current term, jmc
Do the liberals have to leave?
Where can we go?

Look at jmc's clue then helena

One is a plural of an icy geographical thingy in places like Finland
Sometimes spelled with a J in it

ty lynxx
well some folks spell it fi dc
That's the one
Did not think they could do that, Kap..not very good relations with the workers i`m sure.
yw
To make it worse, the storm was on a Monday which is the 12 hour day city workers have to work to get their 4 hour Friday.
oh, thanks kaplan

thanks for the clue, though!
now this has been on the net for a bit now..but i post it here for those who have missed it...
If a dog were your teacher, you would learn stuff like: When loved ones come home, always run to greet them. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy. When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience. Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory. Take naps and stretch before rising. Run, romp, and play daily. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do. On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass. On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree. When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body. No matter how often you’re scolded, don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout… run right back and make friends. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk. Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough. Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you’re not. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it. And MOST of all… When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
and have a good night all!...poof!
*!* ta da *!*

All day, Amy Winehouse.
Because of one little r word.
Is that a good thing, Kaplan?
Is it a good thing? Is snow a good thing?
???
(Keep in mind that my head is in the sand... so if something is on the news, I missed it.)

*poof*
Oh Kap, I have such a dirty version of that Carolina song. Cannot put it here. No, no, no.
You can't? We can just tell everyone to plug their ears.
Hi Babblers
All who want the dirty song, say aye!
aye :)
you could email it to me but then I'd have to give you my email and my cover would be blown
Aye!
All opposed, say Nay!
You could "clue" the bad parts
Just think of a word that "sort of rhymes with" Carolina and use your imagination.
I double dare you...
May I please have a clue for tr5-10 the 2nd? Thanks
yep, an old standard
Ok, Ok.
I'm laughing like an idiot.
Peach, the one that rhymes with what a King sits on?
In the real song, do you think they meant North Carolina or South carolina?
Thanks, Molly, I have that as tr5-10 the 3rd....need the 2nd, please.
definitely south
oh, i thought you meant for the bawdy version :)
GGGAAAAAAKKKKK Welki!
Welki!!!! *Pats Welki on the back*
what'd i do this time?
That was me choking. Wrong back!
Strolling with my girlie when the dew is pearly early...
who else feels like an idiot sitting laughing in front of their computer?
I was just going to say that anyone who isn't snickering right now is lying
Peach, the second one is the same word with first vowel at the end.
Thanks much, MollyL.
Molly, my mind is kind of muddling along here. HA HA!
This is a family chog.
Now it has to have an advisory.
are we talking pg13 or n 17?
I do not feel like an idiot when I laugh. No matter where I am. Laughter is a saving grace for me these days.
Yeah, but what were we laughing AT?
hey owl
hei welk and all.
When my brother and I were little we would try to make each other laugh while drinking so the milk would come out the nose
I was laughing at Welki's immediate offering of SOUTH.
We were in our forties at the time
We were in our forties at the time
I did wonder why she was so sure it was south/
i'm not so good at innuendo *lololol*
Making someone laugh liquid out their nose is quite the accomplishment. I am in awe of the talent.
try it with spaghetti
Money flies out the door when love flies innuendo
here we go again, madame swempski
I have seen something truly disturbing done with spaghetti and the nose.
"I don't like your innuendo."
In Carolina?
At the same party where they were singing that song?
done. anyone need a clue or two?
No, and surprisingly, not at a Rugby party, where I learned all my other dirty songs.

Do do think the people we gravitate towards in things like the chog are the same people we would gravitate toward in "real life?"
grr ksp, don't know but did you hear the news feature today that says there is evidene that our best friends share a certain number of genertic markers with us?
Yes I do Kap.
sorry for spellling
i wonder how many people have clued with Winehouse since the grid went up ?
not at all kaplan. In here i chat with all sorts of people and some are definitely not who i would start a conversation with if for example i met them at a party
What if your favorite chog people have really bad breath?
never a problem here, that
*thinking she should NOT have eaten those onions in dinner*
lol it doesnt matter cos the only "talk" is visual lol
No really, I am not sure if the vibes on a chog are the same as in-preson vibes
Clued with Winehouse???
well i am not the same.
Yeah- anytime anyone has asked for the re5 since 1 A.A. EST, the response has to have been "where Winehouse didn't want to go."
Chog has a part of me that is real, but often doesn't get expressed...
because of inappropriateness.
that is very plausible
However I have passed notes during meetings that have made people lose it.
We were once doing a group interview and I wrote to my neighbor "She looks like Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie" and my friend had to run out of the room coughing to not laugh
in a chog you can express any of your thought or opinions because even if people judge you for them it doesnt matter because they are not in your life to make things awkward
And I don't have to drive anyone here to the mall.
hello all. I would hope that my behavior in a chog would be similar to my behavior in real life. What you read is what you get. LOL
On the other hand, I have seen people get deeply hurt when they have been "taken to task" in this chat log.
I wonder if someone was really unpopular in a message board, they could come back and be someone more popular.
in a chat on another site we were all joking about the urban meaning of snool. But there is nooooo way i would bring that up with most of my conservative friends and family!
Yes, we discussed that the other day. Hypersensitivity
Yes, we discussed that the other day. Hypersensitivity
What is snool?
actually i probably would just to see there reactions lol
hmm... just googled it.
BRB
no necessarily hypersensitivity, kap. i remember o few feuds that spilled over into other aspets of life, with folks sending awful emails and spamming babblers
I just found out what snool is. I can't speak.
very very nasty
Hope it's not cause... oh nvm
lol shocking isnt it!
gross!
How did fights spill over into email? Were people posting their email addresses?
I have seen that kind of thing happen, and just don't get it. Not snool, I mean flame wars on line among people who never met
well.. nbt, nbs and 1/2way. I'm going to come back later.
This is a very dirty evening.
This is a very dirty evening.
i would never bring snool up in front of my grandma but i was joking about it with an a woman my grandmas age online
I keep repeating myself but it's true
How do you know it wasn't your grandmother on line?
There are some people who totally dig drama. I think they are the ones who perpetuate on line feuds.
luckily my grandmother hates computers!
I agree- I think it is a kind of addiction /compulsion that some people have to stir things up. It's like bullying, but worse because you don't know who it is and what areas of your life theyy will invade.
well in one ase, the person begged the other's email address so they could allegedly apologoze for being nasty in hog
I'm on this other board that began very randomly but quickly developed an honor code and privacy system to prevent that sort of thing.
my c key is hosed
I have been participating in/Administering internet message boards for 7 years. I can spot a pot stirrer/drama queen almost from post one.
Good evening Babblers
thathappeswithmyspacebarsometimes
How can you tell that quickly?
there are some folks who are truly nasty and others that are truly disturbed. sad if they are met on line
In real life, it's called "tone of voice". On line, I call it "tone of post".
i mean, one person introdued another to babble and to all of use to play on line srablle and then just turned on here. like a psyhotic break. and i am trained in the field.
Are you trained in the field? (Resists pun.) As what?
and then tried to ome after the group one by one. kap is on a roll. or is that a bagel :P
No, I am trained in the field, so to speak, too.
how about a nice bialy?
There are a couple of loose cannons who post here on a regular basis. And no, I will not name names.
i think i want to go wash the dinner dishes, it's getting late
I still am curious about yr profession, if you want to say.
I have posted a couple of mean messages in here but only cos scrabblerox was annoying the crap out of me.
Molly, it's Allan Sherman.
I do complain about my in laws a lot and i have said some mean things about them and i kinda do worry that one day they will be in the chat
and as my actual name is crystalle they just might know its me!!!
Wouldn't that be horrible to find out someone you liked on a message board was really your mother-in-law?
What is said in this chat log is viewable to the general public. It's good to remember that.
"The art of losing isn't hard to master." Anyone know that poem?
I would be worried about what i might have said about her or her daughter .
did you know the chog can be googled?
NO
and i seriously hope others dont know that too
i've seen it, unless something has changed. a while ago
I wasn't familiar with that poem, but I looked it up. Good advice. And anything can be Googled.
Elizabeth Bishop
VI!!!
Hello, TO! =) How are you?
Our profiles show up on Google as well.
during the past 6 months I have been a grumpy cow(to put it nicely) and i have used chat more than once to vent. Mostly because online friends are not prejudice in their support or advice.
dont' be alarmed;what are the odds, crystalle?
lol it would be just my luck
awwwwwwwww
vi will sing for you, that will take your mind off of it
on the plus side if she did read some of what i was said maybe she would take note and make some changes
howdee there fellow addicts!

Hello babblers, back to finish...how is everyone?
good, jilly, andyou?
Doing well!
hey jilly and tea! (((hugs))) just came in and working on getting to NBT
tea, how's your family?
hi stiddles
another surgery tomorrow for dad - hernia repair this time
I try to keep caught up on facebook, but there are so very many days I don't even get online there.
kids are good, I'm over extended, as usual, and hubby is working hard.
Hi there Stiddy!!
Hi Jilly & Tea. I had a bad day yesterday but tomorrow will be better. I can clue if anyone wants, since the one thing that did go well was the Babble grid. LOL
oh, I hope it will go smoothely
or smoothly
hey jac
hi jac, sorry about the bad day
Tea - wishing your Dad all the best.x
Hi there Jacula...haven't seen you in a long time!
I hope so, too, stid - his 66th birthday is Thursday
glad kids are good. that makes the difficult parts better
Hi Stid.
the solo i please? from the second row down.
if6.36 - more questionable, stid.
I made the decision to NOT try to do a lot of "schoolwork" this evening. I am pretty much caught up for the work this week at this point. Will babble to halfway, then quit.
that's the one from the bottom row, jac, need the second row please?
How is school going, being caught up sounds good!
I'm just here for a few - have to be at the hospital at 7 tomorrow so I need to get some sleep
school is awful, wish I were "just" a housemom again. *sigh* but this close to my goal (this quarter and next) I am too stubborn to give up! LOL
One of our guinea pigs died earlier. Her name was Geri (she was named after Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell, due to the colour of her head tuft).
I'm sorry stid and jac
so sorry to hear that jac
oh gee. found it. very fishy babblet. NBT
She was 7 and a quarter years old, which is pretty good going for a mini-piggy.
hello babble friends - stopping in to see if anyone needs any help
and firewords
that seems rather elderly! still, any loss is hard...
hey river!
YAY jilly!
but just saw jacula here so you are all set
Her sister survives her, but I don't know for how long. We also have 2 male g/pigs who are 2 or 3 years' younger.
still needed a friendly hug from my babble friends
Hi there River, another babbler I haven't been on with in a while! ((hugs))
Well done Jilly.
river! you-all doing okay?? ***hugs and choclits***
River - any help is always appreciated. We clue in different ways.
River (((((hugs))))
and people like me need varied clues to get a clue!! lol
Hi (((jac))) sorry to hear about the loss of your pet/family member
Hello ((jillyjill)
Sorry to hear that river!! Pets are so hard to lose and it's so hard to go thru.
(((((Stid))))) I am good - busy running kids as usual
glad you are well, and kids are busy!
skiing/snowboarding/indoor soccer/taxi mom at your service
I sorta miss all that...sorta...well, the boys but not their schedules!
need to start the college financial stuff and scholarship stuff - ugh!!!
Sarah got accepted at her first choice college for the fall - now we need to figure out where to come up with the money....
we have put all that off, river. we can't afford to send the elder to college until he knows what he is there for... so will wait until he demonstrates significant motivation! Or independence...
oh...that is actually easier - Sarah has the motivation - we have NO money
I woke up feeling 'out of sorts', not ill, but clumsy and kind of depressed. Not a good start, since I had a complicated themed birthday cake to make for Other Half's birthday on 19th Jan. The cake, which ws supposed to be a lorry, since he's a trucker, ended up looking like it had been in a crash. I've made many theme cakes, but this one looks like a 4-year-old tried to put it together. Then, whilst kneading the fondant icing to colour it, black food dye squibbed out all over my white tee-shirt. Then the g/pig died. Like I said, not the best of days!
(((Jacula)))
oh jac.... *gentle hug and cup of tea*
I was also worried because my daughter is in Slovenia at the moment, on her travels, and I'd not heard from her. I did hear from her after some frantic texting from both me and her father (my ex) but, in the end, she spoke to me through Facebook. Seems she's got a rotten cold.
River! January 19th was my dad's birthday...a good day to be born!
cant believe you actually tried fondant....are you crazy????
we always worry about our children...wow - Slovenia - what is she doing there?
River - I hate fondant icing, too sweet for me, but it's the only way to go for themed cakes. I don't normally have problems with it.
well happy birthday to your Dad - here or not - its still his birthday - I just celebrated my Dads birthday in December even though he has been gone 9 years
evening all!
hello Dan
Well, have a few scrabble games to catch up on, will be back and forth
Do you all watch Cake Boss - dont know if you get if on the other side of the pond
Thanks River...I do miss him. Coming up on 11 years.
River - she's taken a year out after getting her BA Hons to travel before doing her Masters Degree. She's not doing a lot in Slovenia it seems, due to being ill. She's off to neighbouring Hungary next week after a couple of days at home. Before that it was Barcelona, and before that Munich. In March, she's off to Australia, Tasmania and then on the Canada. Unfortunately, she's supposed to be starting off in Brisbane, and the ticket was paid for 3 days before the floods. Not sure what's going to happen about that.
aha scandinavian coastal word/s!
((Jilly)))good to see you - have fun playing scrabble
Hi Dan.
hi Jac!
Barcelona was our honeymoon city. It was great
Dan - yes, fi words that can also be spelled fj (but not in this grid).
Wow Jacula - what an experience for her - I would of been too afraid to do all that in my youth - WOW - you have an impressive daughter
awwww Dan
River - she's amazing.
you are very lucky
dh6 clue anybody?
so does anyone need any clues - its heading on witching hour for me
I also need the first th6/21
dh+ double circle letters + **ce you to the finish line
dh6/24 is a type of Indian maize plant. Sounds a bit like lt. O'Houra from Star Trek.
th6.21 - the God of Thunder + 2 vowels.
th+ similar to an opera but change first vowel
lol Jac - its the race to the clues
ty both - that's firewords!
whoooohooo dan
River - re my daughter's travels, she's been almost everywhere and she's only 23.
Apparently there will be a God of Thunder movie this summer
I really need to get to bed - 11pm - 5 am alarm wake up - its time - good to see you Jac - its been a long time
Well done, Dan.
River - sleep well.
will do - enjoy that special girl you have - it goes by way too fast as you know.... - night all
Dan give that baby an extra hug
I wonder if there is a God of snow and ice? He's certainly visited most of us this winter!
I had to google it! The God of snow is Glacies, little brother of Persephone.
thanks River I shall - we are treasuring these weeks and months as best we can - it surely does fly by
So, I suppose that's where we get the word 'glacier' from.
I need to push an updated photo to my profile, but not tonight methinks
We'll look forward to seeing it when you're ready, Dan.
All seems quiet on the western front, so maybe I should go to bed. 10 mins left for anyone who want clues from me.
8 mins...
Done with scrabble...
How about Babble? LOL
Babble is being kinder to me lately...letters I'm drawing are terrible...one with all i, o and u's...
Jilly, you should try WordTornado on FB. It can be evil at times.
4 mins left to ask for clues...
Not sure I need to start anymore addictions...lol
Maybe it's just you and me now!!??
The love of word games is a handicap since we all got on the internet!
So many words games, not enough time....
Isn't that true!! but none with the social aspects that Babble has..
I think it is just us now, Jilly.
Well, it's close to bedtime for me too....
There are some nice people on Word Tornado, but it's only transitory chat during the game really, and you do get some prats on there. Mind you, prats can enter any game.
Seen my share here...
but we're more of a secret...
Well, I think it's time we both called it a day and leave any future gridders to work it out for themselves. See you next grid, maybe. Nice to chat again for a while. x
Same here...take care Jacula! Niters all!
Hello all -- hopeless case here with 86 left
dan2bit -- what an adorable picture of Button!
Hello Jill :-)
hi diane -- thought I was alone here!
..... coming to you from sunny Arizona :-)
Oh! Where in AZ? I have several friends wintering there.
We have a satellite dish from home, ( Star Choice aka Shaw Direct ) .... was watching Victoria news and saw some good coverage re: your Lady Minton hospital. ( not sure if I've got the right name )
We are in Casa Grande... midway between Phoenix and Tucson.... and we have many friends from the Edmonton down here too, although spread all over!
Lady Minto -- I missed that -- what was it? We're very much involved in Save Our Surgery here.
Our son built a home here 5 years ago and we and his inlaws get to enjoy it for free !
There was an interview with a doctor,... and they spoke to a group of ladies; I believe they are part of a group working to save services.
Lucky you! I just switched from Sahw Direct to Shaw cable, to get their bundle with phone and internet.
I think that's the name of the group... I even looked to see if you were there!!
Oh I wish I'd seen that! was it on CTV or CBC?
I really miss our Canadian and local news when we come down here, so this satellite is so nice to have.
soft
oh, drat
I did go to an early SOS meeting. I wonder who the doctor was -- Roy Preshaw?
We just happened to be watchiing the Victoria station, so not sure of the network.
I don't remember his name... it showed quite a few pictures of the facility... looks modern and bright
I think that would be CHEK, 358 on Shaw Direct.
Of course my ears perked up when I heard Salt Spring Island mentioned , so left the kitchen area and sat down and watched it .
It' a lovely little hospital and islanders raised about $80,000 for the operating room, back with more form the gov't -- then someone fired the surgeon and claimed they couldn't find another one and closed the brand new OR, now wanting to get rid of all the equipment.
sorry about the typos -- hope you can deci[her the meaning.
that is what the item was about.... and what was to become of all their efforts back "when".... I'll bet you knew the ladies in the ... they looked like seniors.
the thing is, all surgery now has to be done off island, meaning ferry fares and time, plus hotels to stay in, for anyone wanting to visit an ailing islander. Having been in that situation, it's stressful for a patient to be alone.
I see "little miss Muffet"....I haven't checked to see the icon theme.
Oh sure I knew some of them.
The icon theme was Nursery Rhymes. Too bad so few participate. The next theme is Fictional Detectives. Just scroll down in my profile for coming themes.
I usually always check, but it's been a busy few days.... we just got here Sunday
Nice icon, Jillibus; that pictur is in one of my Sunbonnet Sue quilt books.
That's a lovely picture of you, Diane, though.
Hi Christine -- cute, isn't it!
hmmmmm... Boston Blackie ?? .... lots of choices .... Dick Tracy....
Hi Christine :-)
Btw, Diane, my friends are in Yuma, Tucson, and Havasu Lake.
Perry Mason
Yes, Diane -- lots of choices!
okay... we've been to Tucson, and driven by Lake Havasu area , the year we took the Las Vegas route.
Hello, all - thougt I'd come in to enter the words I found during the day: turns out, I'm reentering what I found at the flip.
I've been to Tucson, but not the other places.
Oh, I gave up on this grid although it was quite fun. Just didn't have time today and won't have much time for the next few either.
I don't plan on finishing every grid... but I DO plan on popping in most days :-)
chatting here is half the fun for me.
st 5/22?
Hey.... just thought of a funny detective... Fearless Fosdick !! LOL
I have one st5/22 It's what happens to your neck when you sleep the wrong way
do you another clue for that diane?
We'll be here until the first week of April... I really miss my home, and the grandkids, but I soon settle in.
nm, got it. Looking at wrong s
I think I only have the one so far.... let me try
Oh lol! Fearless Fosdick!
you mean a different clue ?
good... glad you got it !
NM, Diane -- bichon got it.
but tyvm Diane
:-))
Diane -- I just googled Fearless and enjoyed the Wikipedia writeup so much! Ah, the memories -- and the bits I never knew!
I used to just devour the comics every weekend.... and Li'l Abner was one of my favourites !
It was the epitome of "spoof", and much of it passed over my young head. That's also the reason I like to read a book again, many, many years after when I originally read it.
-- when...
So do I, Diane
Li'l Abner should be revived.
Time to post my next icon -- a pretty obvious one.
remember the little guy with the cloud over his head all the time.... Joe Bfstkk or some funny name like that.... and the Schmoos .... loved the schmoos !!
I grabbed an image of Fearless, but I'll post a different detective... :-)
Hmmm -- I wonder who!
I still think of Joe Bflstkk or whatever when things goe wrong.
me too ... LOL
wait and see... posting another favourite !!
Tease....!
Cumberbatch !! LOL
Isn't that a gorgeous name?
Yours are always informative, and I always learn something from them! I almost posted Miss Marple!!
Benedict Cumberbatch rolls off the tongue like the Sunderland Bomber in WW2.
jillery-dillery-doo!!!! ***Happy mama hugs***
I love words....
Hi stiddie!!!
Hi Stid.... :-))
hey all!
Diane, have you read Bill Bryson's "The Mother tongue: English and how it got that way"?
I have never read the whole thing, but have read excerpts from it.... I should see if I can get it on my new KOBO E -reader
I loved every word of it -- son gave it to me for Christmas.
I guess the KOBO is like a Kindle?
yes it is .... I still like the "feel" of a book in my hands, but it will be handy to stick in my purse...etc.
oh yes -- very handy (big purse?)
hello all
stid -- how have you been doing?
hi cos
i love my new kindle.... i read stephen king books much easier now
hey cos!
small Kobo :-) The Kindle is on the Tablet I think, and it is bigger
Hi Cosdem :-))
I've only read one Stephen King book, years ago.
hi diane, stid, jilli and everyone else :)
I am a Stephen King fan too, Cos.... although not his later books... they changed :-(
I'm busy borrowing Rebus books from the library.
not bad, jill, all considered.... still HATE the coursework, just plugging along and asking questions. And being VERY VERY grateful for the specific faculty supervisor this quarter.
Oh, glad to hear you're happy with the advisor, stid. It will all be over pretty soon, though, oui?
*supervisor, sorry
Our library just moved into a brand new building with all the bells and whistles, and they DIDN'T make that feature one of them :-( ( To borrow, using the Kobo )
i agree diane.. his older work is much better
I just finished reading all the Robert James Waller books.... not deep, easy reading but well written... I like his style
June at the very latest, Jill. I won't go to the "graduation" thing of course, but the 10th of June is the very last day of official "work" for the quarter.
our library is just about to be torn down and replaced with a spiffy new ecologically excellent building. Meanwhile, icky temporary quarters... :-(
I still remember the VERY first book I borrowed from our tiny library in my small home town... and having my own library card....
((Jill)) hang in there... when it's done you will be SO happy! And so will I. I promise to come visit you and try out every possible library chair and corner and let you know what the best nooks are!
IT WON'T BE READY FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS, STID!
Oops -- hit the cursed caps lock!
yep. and in about two years I shall have saved enough money to visit again! LOL
explain "Rebus" books to me, Jill. I can only think of using pictures to express a phrase.... LOL
I heard a woman on the radio the other say, saying she took a screwdriver and pried off the caps lock key. It's tempting...
Rebus is the policeman featured in Ian Rankin's books set in Edinburgh. It's also been a TV series.
aha.... perhaps Inspector Rebus ??
well past halfway now... I think I am going to rest my eyeballs. ((((jill)))) Have a lovely evening, all! *Poof*
I just googled it !!
Yes, Diane ;-)
night night Stid.... it was nice to see you !
G'night stid -- you're here so briefly these days!
hello
One of my favourite authors is Anya Seton... I've loved ALL of her books.
