Even though I've been playing this game on and off for years, my skill with it really has not improved. So the fact that I may type a word from the list in the chog and then someone tries to tell me I have to go into a PB for that even though I have no idea that that word is even in the puzzle totally irks me. I basically want to type, “**** You!!!†But I don’t want to get kicked out of Babble so I do my best to ignore the whole thing.
it is never meant to be irksome, or punitive. It is just a confirmation of the fact you posted a grid word, something we try not to do. And of course, when you haven't even seen it yet, it gives you a word. Part of babble fun for some is to stock the PB with goodies, so often it is more a matter of getting in as soon as possible.
anyway, now I know you hate it, so I will try not to do it to you. Forgive me if I forget though :)
I can recall a time when, at least to me, it did feel punitive, and I just stopped playing for years. It stopped being fun. 'Cause I loved paying and it's hard to play and not chog as well. It's only recently I've started playing again when I started reading the chog and it looked like the whole PB thing was way toned down or almost non-existent.
Well I can certainly learn to adapt as well. But thank you :)

Lickety did spoil us all. I loved the Bulk Add feature he developed for his list just b4 he devised Babble Expert. I think it won't continue though (BE that is) if DrG ever gets his new version of Babble up
nope, I have the impression anything lickety added will be made impossible. And I think for 2 letter clues you will have to hold your mouse over a tile in the grid. Must make sure I won't do that by accident.
Prior to BE or even to the tile stats her on Babble I can remember trying to figure out words by hand on sheets of paper around my computer. Then someone recommended a2zwords.com. No more paper!

I pleanted pansies in my dreadful windowboxes this AM; I had mushrooms growing in them yuck

Pansies are a better option .... much more pleasing on the eyes
my only question is, how much sun do they need?
Not a lot they will flower thru the harshest winter with little or no sun, our pansies were lovely thru all the snow and ice last year
they should be perfect, then. We used to have geraniums, very traditional for here, but there just wasn't enough sun on that side of the house as the trees, especially the tulip tree, have gotten too big
My pansies last year reseeded themselves and they were growing between the paving slabs on the patio they were a lovely show of colour
it's interesting to see which plants flourish and which die out. As this is my first garden, it has been a revelation for me
and to learn that perennials are not necessarily.....

I remember getting fresh lobster from the boats on the Jersey shore - wonderful!

It's a primary spec ed room, so probably the paras will do most of the "work" and I will assist. They will already know the students and be able to guide me as necessary.
I am really not sure what all the tasks are going to be. It will be a surprise for me when I get there! I think it will be nice, though. The paras I have worked with before really have been the most amazing people.

any grade, cross -- as a substitute I get called out for nearly anything and everything. But I am certified in different things for all grades, anyway -- Elementary (K-8), Middle school Humanities (4-9) and Reading (K-12).
In theory, I know what I am doing ... in practice I find I have much to learn!
