No, dee, this was just a little punch biopsy, 2 stitches. The other was a much bigger incision and tissue removal. October's surgery will be a bigger deal with a skin graft. All with local anaestheic.

bookworm is a downloadable game from popcap.com. it is a 1-player version of boggle, hexagonal "squares" so you only have 6 letters touching each other letter, but much larger gr4s and new tiles that come in whenever you use tiles in a word
sounds interesting; surprised they haven't developed a multi-player version
stealth chat room, well, it took my a while to find it, because the instructions are kind of hard to understand. you chat by typing in the "add word" box, starting with an apostrophe, and only then does your comment go into the chat room
tanglewords was one of my favorite sites after the hasbro boggle site shut down

Yes same here. My brother & SIL went thru the same sh**, heartbreaking, and they cut themselves off from him to save themselves.Happily their son found a very strong woman who straightened him out.

they have come a long way since my first cataract surgery. You wear your street clothes and the actual surgery is about 15 minutes. Drops were used to numb the eye, not even a shiot.
aloy, it was not bad at all. the annoying part is the drops you have to put in your eyes. I see much better with the eye that had the cataract removed
when my eyes are dilated for a regular exam, it takes FOREVER before they go back to norm
mine also.

well, the doctor said I would remain dilated for about 3 days. It is better today than yesterday so maybe tomorrow the dilation will be gone\

Hello again - just want to add my 2 cents worth - had the surgery 2 years ago, one at a time - couple of months between, have been amazed at how much clearer everything is. Wear a 1.5 lense for computer work, 2.5 for reading, otherwise no glasses.

yes, when i go outside but not in the house
wear dark glasses because the cataracts cut out the brightness - i had always worn glasses and have never worn them since the surgery
will still need glasses for reading but not for anything else.....hooray for that
bandage came off next morning, then drops which are just awkward putting in, but no problems at all, due to see the opthalmologist again this year, for update
is it true that you don't need your old eyeglasses after surgery? ah.. you answered my question..

what i need to do is work out what my 500 claorie day meal will be - apparently some of the way this works is if you have a 20 hour gap beween the last meal and the 500 calorie meal, or 20 hours between the 5000 calorie meal and the next one
