happy they are coming this weekend, got disappointing news today that my brother won't be able to come for Thanksgiving, so I have been in a snit all evening.
it was an impulse buy but on reflection I'm really pleased with it. Hubby now has 3 decent bottles of peaty malt. I might get him a membership to an appreciation society for Christmas
how disappointing, dee. there's nothing like a family get together with everyone there.

Rufie, on the other hand, sports his "vcouilles" proudly and they are black and large and very obvious
I was very embarrassed as the dog next door was a puppy. and, it didn't go away. Had to call the Vet for instruction on what to do.
I deal with so much stuff that the dogs had better work it out themselves
Rufie is so cute and funny that I wouldn't ever tell him "no", I leave it to Ruby to growl and discipline him
but I can imagine how embarrassing that could be....

It sounds to me like he hasn't found his bottom yet.. and that's the first step to recovery.
That is true, Ru. And it's very difficult for parents to do the tough love thing. That parent/child bond is very strong. Especially in Ivesy's case.

I don't recommend tough love to parents of addicts and alcoholics. I know someone who did that with her son, and he commit suicide two weeks later. She will never be the same again.

hi, all..how's the grid going? I finished very early this morning. I am having such fun working on the rough draft of my book. I almost deleted it at 45 pages...so frustrated that it just did not seem to be coming together. Now, it's 172 pages, and going very well. So glad I persevered! I hope to have around 300 pages in final form when all is done.
