hubby retired from teaching and became a farmer - just vegetables and fruits, no animals
how interesting , that would require quite a lot of physical effort i would guess
he loves it
we have an old apple orchard and also new trees hehas planted
My husband would love it to but our farm is very much in its beginning- we will plant an orchard tho

we have just had our dam enlarged and we are building a jetty
more animals tho
that's nice, we didn't want the responsibility of animals
a few horses , some cows and some sheep
animals definitely are responsibility
daughter wanted us to get a horse so she could ride when visiting - but, lot of work for the odd occasion

5 on weekdays. My son and I are both on the road by 7 and I need time to get ready at my own pace in the morning.
My body seems to be programmed to wake up after 7 hours of sleep whether *I* want to or not. DH can sleep til 10 or 11 if I let him.
UGH!. I'm retired; and never was a morning person before this. I worked 37 years evenings or nights and have just spent 7 years doing days.

Being raised by my Aunt, I find that there are so many times I want to ask her a question about family or something that happened to me when I was young (something she couldn't have answered even when she was alive!) and there isn't any resources anymore. The worst thing though is that suddenly YOU are the elders!
It's sad, people seem very uninterested in family history these days.
for 2 weeks and i am truly grateful for still having them here but i'm too much alike my mam, so after a few days we clash and now my dad is getting older he has a go about things all the time and especially my daughter who is only 13 so now they argue.they are in there 70's now so i love them to bits but at times it is difficult and then i feel guilty saying that as alot of people here and that i know including my husband have lost parents
