apparently, the cough is quite normal post-pneumonia.

yeah, he has had viral pneumonia, complicated by his asthma. :(
he was admitted to hospital. i managed to stay out. had to go to hospital twice/day, tending to his needs.
when DH had pneumonia, twice in 6 months, it was bacterial, so easy to cure
with viral, antibiotics are anly a prophylactic. you just have to treat the cough. frustrating, to say the least
