ah, that is true. Yes, that is a problem, both for me and the therapist. But I have reached the point where keeping the job is less important than being stable and happy again, and my husband agrees. As long as I feel I am getting something out of it, I'll continue. If I start feeling it is a waste of time, I quit. Both therapy AND the darn job. It will be tight, but I trust I can find something else to earn some money with.

I work in the social security. Some years ago the government decided that all different branches had to be put together into one huge, centralized, national firm that handles all social security and all unimployment and everything related to those.
that sounds suffocating!
as everybody except the government saw coming from the start, the merging does not work and the HUGE firm is incredibly slow in everything except making their personnel go bananas.

no job is worth getting sick over sprite - i gave up my "real" job a year ago - I make 1/2 of what i was making but I am much happier and relaxed
yes, it is almost funny. If it weren't so sad. We have to uphold more laws and regulations with less people. We have to move every few months to another location. I used to work with a team of 4 or 6 people, now we have a workfloor with 25 - 30 people, all angry and afraid for their own jobs. No team spirit, no working together. And since I have some issues with safety, I am basically terrified when I am at the job.

I will keep that in mind, saphyre. I am working on it. Having a steady income gives me some kind of safety, so giving it up is kinda hard for me, but I am learning. At least I reached the point where I don't want to be manipulated into becoming sick and having to handle impossible odds, just to keep that income.

turbotax is great
once you have them complete, you pay, I think it was $15 last yr, and it gets sent directly to GC
I think taxact is only $9.95 this year
and turbo tax was a bit more expensive this year......

hurshy -- ive never had the patch or the pill, but im on nuva ring now. my period is definitely lighter + shorter than it was before. (except when i was on depo, where i had NO period for 3 years!)

yeah the ring seems pretty ideal, overall. and my doc said that you can shift your period a little if you want, if you have a special event or whatever - leave it in an extra week. that's pretty cool.
yeah, ive noticed that too with the ring -- ocassionally i forget to tak it out until a day or 2 after im supposed to, and everything shifts a day or 2...heh
the only comment i have on the ring, and its not necessarily a negative, is that your partner can feel it. or at least mine can...hehe doesnt hurt, isnt uncomfortable or anything, but he was like "uhh, whats that??"
with the patch my period didn't start until 2 or 3 days after i took it off, but with the ring it started up earlier. that's good too, because the patch never delivered on the "period free weekend" concept for me.

i am not a great proponent of kids driving too young. actually, i think the driving age should be much older. we c an't stop kids from drinking, but we CAN keep them off the road. or impose a driving curfew, unless they have a job... anything to cut down the incidence of drunk driving related deaths.

Well there is a drink problem in the UK. It's not just kids, a lot of older drivers are used to the old days when they didn't have to wear seat belts, and a couple of drinks was considered 'ok'. These two groups are the most dangerous road users.

weight is meaningless -- muscle is heavier than bone so if you are healthy and active with lots of muscle at 145 you are going to both look and feel better than a person who is at 120 and never lifts a finger.
take Madonna's advice... don't obsess, throw out the scale, go with your gut on how you feel physically. your body has a set-point.
