well yeah, the whole thing was they used 2 digits to signify a year and they didnt know what would happen after 99 rolled over.

Just got in from a LONG trip to the pet store where we get Saskia's special food, and the supermarket and all, and nothing spices up a three below ride on an open trike like fireworks exploding without warning right next to one! after last year I have a zero tolerance for fireworks. I was so incredibly scared and the police refused to come. We reported 5 times. They said they'd come but did not, so right now I have the garden hose at the ready. If they should get back, I will get them soaking wet with cold water.

It is that way in our neighborhood. Here is some states, fireworks are banned, but they are legal for the most pasrt in Mississippi...that tells you something about this state....that there are a lot of fingerless kids!

I don't have a webcam, but I will take pictures if they come back. I scared the beejeezus out of one of them though, last summer, when he came into our garden at night and I was standing there. He ran off like a frightened dog and they laid quite low after that.

Doing great. There never was much bruising, he says it only hurts if he bumps it with a toy or tries to take his shirt off and scrapes it, it remains dry and sightly, and he was allowed to get it wet today so he had a shower (which he loves) and is feeling good. Thanks for asking!

The doctor said just let the tape fall off by itself and no need to put more on.
Yeah, he tripped over his own feet turning around quickly after putting a plate on the table and went right down. We are uncertain what exactly he hit but it was probably the vaccuum cleaner. Got himself a short but very deep cut. We had to call an an ambulance and go in and have it glued. But no concussion or anything, and the scar will be high enough to be under his hair much of the time so the other kids probably won't call him Harry Potter later...

It SURE did! Luckily I know enough not to be shocked by that. We called because I have no car, the ambulance depot is 5 minutes away, and we were hoping they could patch it up here, but they said it'd leave one heck of a scar if we didn't go for teh glue.

It is a very close relative of superglue and they can use it on wounds that are not gaping too badly. They like to use it on kids-- way less traumatic than stitching.
I've only seen it on hospital shows before this.

morning all. okay, true confessions: my babble learning curve seems to have stagnated. whenever i dive into a new grid, I seem to find lots of four letter words, and sometimes a five or two, but I am not getting much better at finding long words. take today - I have been babbling for a half hour, and have found 9 sixes, but none of the longer words. any advice from you longer-termers?
