I crawled through the dirt under the house to find my cat shallowly breathing, obviously in pain.. took her to the vet and had to get her put down... so long Bonkey!

Vegas was really NICE sunny and breezy with a hint of success in the air...although not inside where the smoking was...I was fortunate to have friends as benefactors and took pity on this poor overworked/underpaid civil servant and treated to a weekend without (much) cost! I had fund and relaxed...

I had the most awesome din in Vegas, courtesy of my friends...my old boss and her hubby took me 8 years ago and invited me back again...we met up with her sis and bro-in-law from California in Vegas for a conference/convention...the bro in law "heard " about Wolfgang Puck's restaurant "Cut" and made the reservations without checking the prices....needless to say we didn't share a bottle of wine with din...the din for the five of us was roughly US $500 and worth every penny...and then they treated to the show "Penn and Teller"...what a day and night!

The points are built up with each word - based on the letters used and the number of letters in each word.

sort of touchy right now. I sent the repair request back with most of the repairs on it done, except for some very very expensive things...we found a leak in the septic! and the buyers have to approve....we shall see.

I'd been feeling so lost without my kids around (daughter at a music festival and son away on hol with his g/f). Got a new stepdaughter, but her Dad is so preoccupied with problems and changes at work he's not seeing either of us. I was feeling so alone. But now my kids are back and they are my sturdy columns that keep my roof intact.

it's one thing to dye your hair magenta, or use some weird colored nail enamel. they're not permanent. but tattoos require a lot of effort, expense and pain to get removed
Yes, I saw that story, too. No one can 'fall asleep' whilst bieingtattoed. She invented the sleep stpry for her family when she saw their reaction to it.
I can imagine that a lot easier than I can imagine falling asleep while someone is tattooing your face ..
