Oh, I am so sorry...I have not updated! He arrived home safe and sound Aug. 16th! It was so emotional. A group (and I mean a large group) of Harley riders escorted them from the airport to the base. We were not expecting that and it choked a bunch of us up.

oh herin, harvard has an "extension school" which is actually night school.. filled with kids like my son david who were brilliant but screwed up when younger, now that they are (average age 30) they deserve a chance.... terrific program

We had a mystery in our house earlier. I came back to my computer after being out shopping and then cooking dinner etc., to find a jpeg on my dsktop that I hadn't put th5/12. It was a salacious pic of a naked woman with a tattoo on her flank. I accused Other Half first but he claimed innocence. I asked my son, my stepdaughter and even rang my daughter to see if she had put it there. They all said that they hadn't. In the end, Other Half said it must have 'jumped' from one of his spam mails. Hmm. Anyway, we ran a virus scan (named Luke Filewalker) and nothing was found. Still a mystery how it got there.

Step's friend is a tiny black girl (even smaller than me , and I'm only 5' 2") with huge eyes. The thing aboutour local high school is that they accept all, hear the story but don't pass it on to the students. They leave it up to the kids to tell what they want to if they want to.
