but only about 40 states require Electors to vote as the electorate voted. So there is some variation, though not much.

i have several yank friends who are now also Canadian living in Canada. They find the healthcare in ON MUCH easier to use and nicer to deal with than what they had in US.
My Canadian friends here say the same, and many return to Canada for health care.

Tom went to dental surgeon, who dispensed drugs at 1/4 the price of going to a pharmacy. It was odd. But that was in Maryland. Here in VA, i don't think they can dispense, only prescribe.
Our system came in gradually -- at first as I recall it was just hospital stays which were covered, later doctors were included. And oh yes -- they are not paid a salary by the gov't -- they are paid by the visit just like any doctor in the USA.

2 weeks ago, I attended the funeral of the first victim of swine flu in Northern Ireland. However, to say that she had underlying medical problems was an understatement, she was terminally ill with cancer and the flu only hastened a certain end.

walking is great! but diet is 80% of weight loss
He's looking younger and better all the time - it's good to see! :)
Yes, but for him the exercise seems equally important. He's dieted before and not lost much weight.
just juice and water tomorrow, then friday is water for eternity!
I think it does a lot to rev up the metabolism, besides obviously burning calories.

mix your ground beef with a chopped onion, some ginger + some smashed up ginger cookies. brown those for about 5 minutes, flipping once. meanwhile, mix up a sauce of 1 jar of gravy, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, brown sugar + more smashed ginger cookies. pour the sauce over the browned burgers + finish cooking them, stirring the sauce allthewhile (about 10 min)

the cats i had never cared about the rabbits either..i taught them yung they could only catch mice and they were very good about not killing them...it was so cute to se them prance into the house with a mouthfulo of mouse trying to meow to get my attention for praise

Please excuse the daly. Husband came home with a request...... My cat brot a snake in once and before I noticed at was beside my foot, all curled up and displaying fierceness. I went nuts and dropped a cooking pot on top of it.

my sister had a cat bring a garter snake in, so she covered it up with a bucket. When she got to it later, to take it back outside....it had delivered babies and there were three more snakes in the bucket!

i like that idea for an apartment complex. not everyone is bothered by the knocking and noise and mess!

see, I'm very strict about trick-or-treating... I make sure the kids actually say "trick or treat" or they get nothing from me... it's my way of teaching the teenagers some manners :)

here's something fun: I was working out in the yard today, and the girls were chatting away to me, and tertiare decided to go back in the house, round the front way. Around the corner she goes, and suddenly shrieking, and upset. Some yelling about a dead bird near the front of the house....came around to see -- wow! not kidding! a HUGE Cooper's Ha4 had slammed into our glass front door, and broken his poor neck! He donated some feathers to us, and then into the bin he went. poor thing!
