growing up in the sixties was great
Growing up in the 90s sounds nowhere near as good
we were really imaginative, made up practically everything
I was always a really imaginative child, but I didn't have to rely on it as much.
one day in january my father,his friend and i were on the lake ice fishing with one snowmobile as transport.we were about 3 miles out on the lake and i wanted to learn how to use the snowmobile..well my dad put me in the seat and showed me the basics(i was 9 at the time) and told me to do a slow circle around him and stop..well i cranked that throttle right to its stop and took off like a scared rabbit in a straight line to the horizon till i vanished from sight!! my dad has this moment on 8mm film lol.well just as they were getting ready for a 4 hour hike across the ice to get back to shore and call the cops to find me,i come roaring back with a big smile on my face!..about ten minutes later i fell through the ice with just one arm on top stopping me from going under.my dad and his friend rescued me by laying out on the ice and throwing me a rope.we wnet back to shore where i was dried off in front of the wood stove and fed piping hot beans and franks
yea we did also must of know fifty different ways to play tag or build forts in the woods lived on a very steep hill great for biking down or sledding down

Sorry, being too flip about a real problem of snooow for you. We have rain and that causes slides, puddles, road washouts, and floods. But eventually it winds up at the sea. Maybe you need to push it out to sea.
I think they do that some, but it can cause wicked flooding problems, so care is need.

Yeah Stid, it's past all that. I'm just glad boy-o and I are home where it's warm. I've got us all geared up, in case the power goes out. Wood in for the fireplace, hot water in the thermos for tea, and all the flashlights charging. Hopefully, the power stays on. That defeats me after a while. Last year, we were 30 hours with no power because of a snow storm.

I really do think that the wii fit is a great invention . there are a number of yoga excersises and balance activities that are really good.

are you able to get to a class TO so you have an instructor who can be sure you have the form right? some things like tai chi are very gentle, but sometimes it's important to be sure that you have the posture and movement right

I've had enough of the cat sulking about his 24-hour starvation regime, and then kind of liking the hand-coojkked fish every 2 hours thing today. He hasn't liked not being allowed outside, being and outside, catch a bird or a mouse kind of cat, but I had to regulate and monitor his diet. Same for the next 24 hours, so more baleful looks and pathetic Miaows.

I haven't been to bed yet - cat needs meals every 2-3 hours. I am going to sleep soon, though. Th cat will just have to like it or lump it. An he probaly will lump it by leaving nasty smelling emanations all over the utitlity room and perhaps one or two in the litter tray.
I never asked to have a cat! Every cat in my home, has just marched in and decided it's living here. I don't even like cats! I'm a dog person! Owwwwwwwwww....
