We live between Huntsville and Guntersville so you are just down the road. Did your friends and relatives survuve OK. Cullman was hit hard. We have a bookstore antique store in downtown OCR so stop by and visit next time you come down.

Glad all are OK. It is depressing to see the destruction. The trees have been stripped. We were very lucky.
What's the name of your store? Did the tornadoes come thru OCR?
Tornadoes went to the north and south of us but we spared. Just no electricity for 5 days and flood worries. Gibson's Books and West Station Antiques in beautiful downtown historic OCR

or Optical Character Reading . . .
Gwen you should know the en 7/8 we look at them every day

night and hbd jilli
Oh -- have to stay up for mrp's drama!
refereeing issues jilli! I put in an incident report on a coach, and he put in a report about me that is complete lies!!
Lucky, I have plenty of witnesses
oh dear, mrp -- so many lies told about you!
probably afraid you're going to beat him at his game?
jilli, the guy is a drunk and can't face his problems
I seems to attract d**kheads like that
looks like it, mrp!
he will lose... I withdrew my report on him, but he couldn't do the same cause he had to intimidate me
i am a very strong personality, and some 'men' don't like it.
Of course, a beautiful woman with a brain is often a target for d**kheads
snap, mrp
from what we've seen in here, you don't appear to be one who can be intimidated
indeed flosey, but the more I block intimidation, the more they get aggressive
some 'men' are just bullies
I really must head for bed -- bye all and ... *poof
niters jilli!! :))
75 words to go, falling asleep and cleaning lady comes early and I have errands! goodnight all and sending positive vibes mrp
nite flosey! hugs and kisses! thanks so much
was reading back a bit, seems mrp suffers from what I call anal magetism (instead of animal) - you attract a**holes... (always say that about my hubby and his "friends")
rbud...sorta reading your post TWO WAYS, hopefully it twas a humourous way that you wrote....xxx

morning all
hi sue
Morning.
Good day to all. Car, how is Zack?
driving me crazy Scrabs! Field trip day....plimouth plantation....out in the rain....joy.
<----- guess who is a chaperone?
Rain/cold air/snow don't have germs so don't worry about that. But you would have more fun without the rain. I wish I were coming along.
That would make me happy toooooooo!!!!!! 2 of my favorite Moms are going so we should have fun. I just wish it wasn't raining.
I have been to Cape Cod twice in the last 8 yrs (we stayed in Chatham) and love the area. There is so much to see, including the Plimouth Plantation.
We are Mayflower descendants of John Alden, so it is always fun for me to go!
Never been to Boston.
Wow! Cool to know family history.
When we were young and our parents divorced, we donated our sheep to the plantation. They had short snouts and black faces. Now if you see sheep like that at the plantation, they are descendants of our sheep!
We will be visiting the Mayflower II first and then going to the plantation. I grew up down in Plymouth Harbor and it is still one of my favorite places...but generally when the sun is out!
I want to visit Ellis Island--my mother's parents came through after taking ships from Sicily and southern Italy.
Wonderful, Car!
And my grammie from Scotland! We found her ship manifest online! She was just listed as "girl".
Scrabs....anytime you want to come this way and hit Boston, Trif, Kadresa and I would LOVE to show you around!
Great history lessons for the kids. I found my grandparents', great uncles'/aunts' manifests.
And Pam is there too!
And Harry Hood & Westford...
Wow, lots of Babblers.
Whew! i's done!
BRB, grabbing breakfast.
Are your boys awake yet, Car?
Oh yes...very loudly awake!

Lol Ruby - I have been off the chog for a while. Did I miss a drama? Hope you OK. Keep up chins/knees/and all south-bound parts/. lol
husband is a jerk but, unfortunately, he's a very old one and doesn't really have a place to go.

Just a phase? again?
I'm OK, just tired of putting up with his BS!
I must go feed grandchild. Bye. Lol Rubyf.
you need a "just for me" day -- or week
or a month
Ruby, did you really mean that?
that sounds even better
(((Ruby))) glad your dog is okay.
be back later to finish. Have a good day all.
{{bichon}} yes, I really mean that
if not for the dogs, and the possibility of losing the house, I would take a long trip
and let him fend for himself
Oh, well. My hubby did really well yesterday. I'm so proud of him
what did he do,Bichon?
He won a chunk of change on Millionaire
that's amazing!
hello
Congratulations Bich.
They showed my daughter and I cheering him on. I thought I looked dorky and she thought she showed too much cleavage
ty Molly
hahah, molly
no (!!) haha, bichon
hello molly
skort isn't in the dictionary, bah
Neither is spork, double bah
Molly, just looked at your picture. Love the bluebird
That's my symbol of hope.
no bluebirds in France, only in NY state.....
I've never seen one in the wild. There are some in the area, but you need a special house for them
north of Binghamton, theere was a state park that had many....it was thrilling

I was afraid of that
Good morning lynxxx
hi lynxxx
hello lynxxxx!
hi jmc
lynxxx, I have a story for you. My husband was on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire". One of his questions was about Hungry Jack in Austrailia. I don't think anyone, including him knew that it was what Burger King is called. We always associate that name with pancakes
hi Ruby, just saw you had a big problem with your girl...hope that that is the end of it all - how scary
glad your hubby did so well bichon!
and that is the "girl of my heart"
Hungry Jack, I always thought it was pancakes!
did he get it right?
I didn't know that either Bichon! good hamburgers - though haven't had one for about 20 years!
No, he had to jump that question.
oh i haven't watched the show in years--you can skip a question?
they changed the format this year. You can skip two questions. They also randomize the money and the clues. You also get to ask the audience.
One of the questions he had to skip, the Hungry Jack, was worth $25,000
you get to ask the audience more than once? what happened to phone a friend
Wow that is a lot to skip!
You get to keep half of what you make if you walk away. You get $1,000 if you guess and are wrong
No, ask the audience is one lifeline + the other two skips
Time to eat breakfast. BL
oh i always liked phone a friend because i have a friend who knows everything
bye bichon
bye Bichon
that's the right kind of friend!
when we play trivial pursuit we all gang up against him and he still wins
so you need to go on jmc, win a bunch, and not bother about a job
lol that would be something!
i know less than i used to because i rely on my speed googling!
good morning everyone
morning Mom!
(((Lynxxx)) good evening to you
hi mom

hi mom
I'll get you, my pr 8/45 and your little dog too. :-)
hello jmc
ty, mom,. does anybody have a hint for 8's or the 9?

Hi Molly
Ruby, what do you think about the big scandal? Think he was set up??
ugh, hated science
e + ***** is the kingdom, and the power and the glory...spell it different
oooh, got the en9! yay
I think he was set up. But everybody else is looking at his past pedadillos....
naturally, husband and I don't agree
ty molly
it's hard to imagine him running down the hallway, naked, and chasing a chambermaid!
pecadillos*
maybe I've seen too many conspiracy movies, but it seems like it would be fairly easy to set him up, esp. given his raunchy past . . .
Ruby, what a visual
well if they set him up they went to a lot of trouble
a lot of trouble? Pay off the maid?
but there is a lot at stake. Why would someone with that much money and clout do something hat stupid?
i don't know--ask bill clinton
it couldn't be just her word against his
who is 'they', ie why set him up?
yeah . . . rich, powerful men seem to believe they'll never get caught . . .
lynxxx, upcoming elections
that's what my husband said, but I thin old Bill was silly in that department, but wasn't evil. I think Monica was a groupie who went after him, certainly not a victim
monica was not the first or last

is Arnold a horndog? My impression was always that he had a tiny you-know-what from all the steroids!

I don't get the very loud voices clue
the list of men who can't keep their fly closed is endless
Arnold has been a horndog all his life . . .
ty mom
gay AND straight
you're welcome jmc
I didn't know that about Arnold. That is too funny as he's so unattractive. Bill, on the other hand.....
(referring to men who can't keep their flies closed)
okay i am off to save the world *puts on cape*
and keep it zippered, jmc!

bye jmc - who was that masked (wo)man
lots of luck finding one of those Une
would you like my much-used husbnad? he'ls all yours if you want him!
Ruby, thanks but I have one already.
I think mine has been badly used by his previous wives and his mother!
wives?
3 before me!
wow
that is a shame that you have a life like that Ruby. It is no wonder you weigh so little
am I stupid, or what?
wow indeed. You have been married a long time to him though, haven't you?
but at least he gave me the house and I have my pups!
14 years
nah, not stupid. I don't think he was this way when you married him or you would not have married him
I have friends who refer to him as Bluebeard!
Barbe Bleue??
No Ruby - obviously the man had considerably attractive qualities - you must have just got him when they were starting to decline!
you are right, but, unfortunately, people change as they age and he's now 85 (and I am much younger, lol)
pitty
older men seem to get crouchity as they get older. My dad is 77 and sweetie's dad is in his 80's and as they have gotten older they have gotten that way
ooh, that wasn't a word, soory, anyway
but those are the only two I know that old
My Dad did too ... and my husband seems to be heading that way
I thought you were saying pity, because of your husbands state
uh oh.
no, I was trying a new word, duh
BBL -- need a coffee refill *poof*
I think they get to feeling so bad with aches and pains and all and they just can't suck it up like us girls can
I'll take a cup, une
bye bye Une
that's true, mom, we are much tougher
the population would be non existent is men had to have the babies :-)

Our Bichon was on TV?
Who wants to be a millionair, River

hi, bichon!
Congrats, bichon!
bichon, I saw you on TV...good for your hubby..it was exciting to watch..I was rooting for him
yes, congratulations, and sorry I couldn't watch it! It must have been a real thrill!!!
It was a thrill, for all of us. I'm so happy with how well he did
so I'm just curious, do they pay for you to go to NY or is that on your own?
Yes, he did quite well....was he nervous up there? He looked calm and collected
Erhard is an even keeled kind of guy. If he can do a high ropes course and caving, he could do this.
good for him
He's been on "Jeopardy" too.
How did he do on Jeopardy?
Being on Jeopardy is on my bucket list.
That was about 15 years ago. He won one game, with a modest amount of money. But, on the second night, he came in second and got a trip for two to Hawaii!
Wow! Good for him!!
ditto, uusue
I'd be a lot more nervous for "Jeopardy". There they don't give you 4 choices for the answer. And, you have to ring in
Yes, Jeopardy is very fast.
He's tried to get on "Wheel of Fortune", but they din't call him for an interview
time to start my day. BIchon, congratulations.
((hugs)) to all of you

Marie-Tay ...Lithuanian

thats me.......
Lovely name, maryte!

probably a good idea, crossy :-)
any clues for the upper left e?
Eggs devoured. Time for some chores before I hit the gym...TaTa!
sad part is if a person has gone pro, generally they have been around long enough to know all about me,so there is not much i can get away with
Sue, el5 upper crust
No, sorry wrong e
woohoo! got the 9 by myself!
yay, word!
yaa for word!
and you are right, crossy, we are all on to you :-)
well done, word
and I figure the upper left e words have to start with et but I'll be darned if I can find any of them.
It is a gas, I believe et6
Sue, I thought you would be the one to get those e words. : P
et, consonant, L***, king of the jungle, plural
ha! thx, bea!
Now I am over and out...*poof*
nah, molly, they're chemicals and I'm not that good at chemistry
anyway now I finally have nbs and nbt and probably ought to get on with my day (although I have nothing whatsoever planned)
well then stay here for a min..almost time for my tidbit of the day...
ooh, I can't miss that!
and now by popular demand ,it is time for crossy,s tidbit of the day!.....
Before the invention of Nylon bristles in the late 1930’s, tooth brushes CAUSED decay and disease because the hollow shafts of the hogs hair bristles in use up until then tended to retain bacteria.
so one of those instances where natural isn't actually better, eh?
indeed, and i would guess the hog is happier
tyne in again everyone when there will be another tidbit around 1 pm for our sleepy west coast babblers and again at 11pm for our early bird aussies
tune
we await with bated breath :0)
soth
of course you do,but all things in moderation;)
oops.....wrote in wrong place!!

I think I get the first five letters but the rest is a haze
the po7 is a compound, vanilla

chickens are not enamoured with po7's
I have po7 its en9/60 that baffles me
there is a 9 amongst this mess?

thanks crossy... I would love to GTFOOH
open cockpit, wind blowing in you hair, having for just a few minutes the eyes of an eagle as you see for miles in all directions

a nuroposm would be a neurotic ruru possum
I am getting in a plane in 4 weeks... retaking my instructor test
<---prefers rurugasms
hahaha! luv ya ruuster!
means ruru better stay away from the deep south or they will make him into a lie
pie

posm pie
possum pie is really nice!

i got that clue but not getting word. how many letters please? 4? 5?
CHICKENS taste like chicken. posms taste like... posms!
it is a 6/7 combo, mkg
then there is et + constanent + charged particle

hi again, all! breakfast at 10 am, must be summer!
wb uusue
hi all
hi jmc
lol, reminds me of a time, just a year or so after we were wed,we were friends with this couple who were about the same age as us.well the ladies were into this fitness class and me and the guy were messing with a car when the girls got back.bith were in their spandex tights not a bit of fat on them and legs up to their neck, but they were thinking they were fat..lol,well anyways it got to the point where they were asking us guys who had the tightest butt...so we took them into the kitchen, got 2 raw eggs and had them hold onto the counter with both hands and present the aformentioned spandex encased posteriors.we told them that we would place the eggs tween their cheeks and the one who could hold onto the egg the longest had the tightest butt....
oh oh....
while they were standing there holding onto the eggs,my friend and i went out to the living room and got 2 ping pong paddles....
uh oh......
okay.. not eating eggs for a long time ow
TMI crossy
Note to self--never eat eggs at crossy's
<do I DARE enter chat and the grid now?>
did you come out of your shell then crossie
lol,we both slept on couches that night...
hi Nef, it is just crossy
sure nef you could calm things down
I'd come back leter, Nef.
only that night? consider yourself blessed!
I bet you did, crossy!
hi Bea
*later
lol nef..it is ok,just leave the spandex tights in the closet
hi All.
Hello sprite. I'm popping in and out this morning.
that is not BzznBea but poppnBea
thank goodness I don't have any anymore! My dtr. says spandex isn't something someone my age needs! :-)
i am not sure i think anyone needs it nef
there's no age that does, I think
sorry all that talk of tushies brought the memory back
pretty funny, crossy! interesting how warped women's views of their own bodies can get - I thought I was fat when I weighed 118 pounds. utterly nuts.
I like just a wee bit of spandex in my slacks. They fit better and they stretch
they were both boobs and legs and 20 inch waists lol
i am sure i am fat but i only care about the health part
<---spandex free-zone
own well that is different bzzn
I am fat, no doubt about it.
what are the stats on the 9?
en9/60
I"m a lot less fat nowadays
sounds like what legs and arms will do when in casts for a long time as the muscle wastes away
My dtr. bought me a pair of slacks that she thought I'd like; they didn't fit me at all and she is now wearing them. She bought herself a pair on clearance that she couldn't get into; I'm now hemming them for me (but I don't like the dropped waistband) She couldn't return them because of being on clearance. I'll need to get some longer tops to be comfortable in those pants
I'm fluffy, my grandson tells me.
ty sprite
awwww fluffy, that is sweet
good for you ru!
i work at it with minimal success
<--less of ruru to go around
*flappita flappita* my belly jiggles
Me too, jmc.
Me too, jmc.
Hubs has lost thirty pounds on MY diet.
lol good for him
flappita sounds like mexican pancakes to me
no it is the sound my belly makes when I jump! lol
i no longer jump as there are too many forces at work when the belly takes longer to come down than the rest of me
sounds sexy, jmc
well, a few of us have gotten together on a Babblers Weight Loss Support Group on Facebook; it may turn into my own personal diary but so far I am finding it quite helpful. Info in my profile if you are interested.
soooo not sexy sprite!
nice idea, uusue!
hey, belly dancers would kill for the flappity thing
I've always found that when I get too busy doing stuff for others and forget about my own health, I gain weight
Now it is time for me to get ready to go sit on a tiny little bike seat and spinspinspin...
go for it, bea!
bbl
bye Bea, have a good spin
not mine sprite! lol
sp 6/24= old tyme word that is refuse or trash
DH is telling me it's time to get busy doing things for the day; so I'm off for now. Happy Babbling, Everybody!
bye Nef
bye nef
Oh, and sue; I'm interested in your group, just haven't had time to get there yet.
BYE! <poof!>
crossy, old tyme word for trash?
fireflies. Not too bad for a K grid.
bye all, have fun and sys
congrats sprite.
Bich, the kind of milk you shouldn't cry over, add a consonant.
tyvm Molly
indeed bichon
also used for runoff, excess, overspill etc etc
amost 65 years old and I've never heard of it.
crossy reads a lot of victorian fiction;)
dickens, twain, dearlth, verne, marryat lots of good authors of the past
It's okay Bich. The origin goes back to 1600. I'd guess not many of us have heard of it.
Maybe it's a Canadian word
the sp 6/24 from the guttering candle had encased the entire hioder into which it had been placed
sounds british to me (the sp24 pt of bad milk)
can, britt, aussie old world stuff i am sure the yanks used it in the past
holder
fun littlw word
little
sp6/21 was what I meant, of course (for the milk)
ty for the sp 6/21
meanwhile while trying to sort out the kid's advising problem (he didn't do it when he was supposed to and now is trying to chase people down during the summer) my tea has gotten cold, or at least cool. sigh.
one more word, ep7/36 clue plz
bummer..cold tea;((
back again
hi, ruby!
wb ((RUBY))
ep7 is what goes on a tombstone, I think
phantom epithany
hello all
you mean epiphany?
oops so I do lol
crossy cannot find epitaph
lol, molly, only if you didn't like the person much (epitaph, which isn't in the puzzle, is what you are thinking of - the ep7 that is in the puzzle is a swear word)
swear word? in enable?
oh no wonder I cant get it. I NEVER swear lol
I'm sorry, but "spork" and "skort" are not in the dictionary? The dictionary needs to get with the times!
No, I was wrong. ep + w*** *hree you get eggroll
a testimony to a person crossy.... usually glowing
Super, I think Enable has the right idea. We would be better off without sporks and skorts.
got it ty
Argh...ep + w*** *three you g** eggroll. Too much crap going on in my office.
Hee, wht! :)
says a MAN who doesn't understand the brilliance of skorts.
ok, it's not a swear word. not sure what i was thinking about.
pens
ep7 is a word that means swear word, it's not a swear word itself :)
now you are in for it wht lol
well no matter sue, I still dont get it
got the ep but the monkeys died
or maybe it is, definition 3 according to the online dictionary. figures that's the one I would know :-)
like "Stan the Man" Musial
lots of tough e words today:/
Nothing new about that, crossy.
Sorry, penalty box for me. :(
we'll make you some tea, flippy, while we're heating up sue's
i always, always try and enter the nam of tolkeins tree people:/..never works though
Hello :)
fireworks, thank you all
howdy sadie
yaa for vanilla!
yay, vanilla, and hi, sadie!
ty ty
and thanks for warming up my tea, it is much better now :-)
hello sadie and yay, vanilla
hiya crosshair and sue
ruby is all recovered from her surgery but her ear looks funny
I guess once the fur grows back she'll be her beautiful self
what did you do to your ear?
hiya ruby
your talking in the third person like crossy:)))
I'm glad your dog is feeling better Ruby.
what happened to your dog ruby
no, no, my pup had a tumor in her ear
I was going crazy with worry
Oh no. Glad she's doing all right!
How awful. I guess she had it excised
awww poor pup glad they were able to take care of her :)
the vet said that she would bite when she came all the way out of anaesthesia, but I held her on my lap and the first thing she did was lick me
oh, thank goodness, ruby, and I assume it was benign?
she is a great dog!
they don't let you do that here. You have to stay out
she sounds wonderful, ruby :-)
what kinds is she ruby, a Bichon?
we didn't get a biopsy because vet said that chows get black tumors like this one and they are almost always benign.
A Chow, with a black tongue
and she is 8 1/2 and I wouldn't put her through chemo anyway
she is the best, my favorite of the 5 chows we've had over the years
I don't think I'd put any dog through chemo. My Muffin died at 1 of cancer. I just let him go
ah, ok, good to know.
and so sorry to hear about Muffin, bichon!
*12 sorry
that is so sad, bichon
Muffin was my favorite. But, Marco, one of my new guys, is a lot like him. Velcro dogs
I guess we all have favorites and even within the same breeds, and in our case, the samer family, each is totally different from the others
same*
our chows are too inbred but, at the same time, the inbred traits are what make them so sweet and beautiful
what do you mean by velcro?
they sure are beautiful dogs
ONe day we were at a party and I had Muffin and iscuit with me. There was a young girl there who not at all outgoing, mostly sat by herself and didn't talk. Muffin jumped in her lap and after a while she started talking to her.
Velcro means he is very affectionate and loves to e near you and petted.
Marco is a lot like that.
dogs can be so intuitive. People frequently don't like chows because they can be somewhat aloof. Not ours, of course, lol
Lunch time! BBL
{{bichon}}
enjoy
good morning, all
howdy cybernan
I've always found chows pretty friendly, as long as you're gentle & quiet with them.
I can't believe 106 of these words start with P or S. Gads.
the west coast awakens;0
fun,fun
morning, nan!
I can't believe there are 75 more words in this grid!
morning cybernan
but I just found one -- lol
ok, I am off to my office, finally (might as well spend half a day there). bbl!
sue!!!! -- we didn't get millionaire last night -- how did hubby do?
tc sue
*Notices chat has ground to a halt. Puts deli platters and salads that were just delivered in the PB*
.....heading for the PB....
hi sadie (just came up for air)
p's done -- time to get back to work -- bbl
im rather miffed that "spork" isnt accepted into the grid.
done and Guten Tag to all
Neither is skort
clearly the makers of Enable know nothing about high fashion and fine cuisine.
Agreed. Pass me a spork and we will go shopping for skorts.
aye!
s's are done sheesh now a million or so p's lol
noswaith dda - good evening - back for half an hour before dinner
Hi Glan
Hi Molly
Es are evil
hello Glan
Hi Sadie
Agreed. Most evil.

Hi Crossy

I am sweetly fragrantly freshly shiwered too
ahh yes..we the beautiful people;)

mmm..beard needs a trimming...
thankfully not a problem i have yet - maybe in a few years LOL
sorry ,meant mine,not yours lol
;-)
and now for crossy,s mid-day tidbit of the day.....
In the early stage version of The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy’s faithful companion Toto was replaced by a cow named Imogene.
all the best cows are called Ermintrude so i can see that Imogene would not work too well
Bet she had a tough time getting the cow into the bicycle basket. Silly Dorothy.
hence the change to a pocket dog i would imagine
Ps are pesky as well as Es being evil
"I'll get you my pr/27. And your little cow too!" Just doens't have the same sting to it.
*doesn't* rather.
cool, needed that one, though an elegant bocine just does not do it
bovine
udderly prepoterous!
Just give up, Crossy.
hi again, all, finally got to my office!
the kid managed to maintain a 2.0 average for the year but just barely (grrr). But he met with an advisor in engineering and now has a plan, which he is actually excited about.
She's taken an interest in him, too, and wants to meet with him over the summer to see how he is doing (yay!)
That's great Sue.
<--- wondering if I should tell the advisor that he is my son - she is new, I think, and doesn't know me but we have corresponded by email about other students
Might as well, she will find out eventually.
that's what I was thinking; just have to figure out how to do it without seeming weird.
Firebirds!
yaa for judi!! and on that note crossy must head to work, take care everyone and happy babbling!...
poink!
yay, judi, and bye, crossy!
hints for the 9?
lots of chaos eva

sp8 divider
ty jess
yw
Thanks, jess
im blind to that SP8. i think im becoming blind to words in general...
Eva, one who cuts large logs into smaller pieces
lumberjack? heh
there is a tool you use when cutting up firewood called a log sp8
AHH! the lightbulb went off!
i thought i had that...
s's and p's are done..yippee?
i am still trying to make it a lisp
that
wtg sadie
that
still not a word phae
think of elmer fudd when he accidently tips his cup over
Use the first syllable (with a lisp) from the name Lizabeth as the last syllable of that word.
that's the wrong sp5 jmc
ty ty :)
oh no -- wrong character -- he used a w in place of an r didn't he
oohh i see (sorta)
having a vanilla pudding headache again
It's an sp6 that the lisp clue was given for.
when you tip a glass over the liquid sp**** -- now say it with a lisp
The milk you don't cry over, with a lisp.
right...use the last sp5/12 at the beginning of the list
The last at the beginning?????
there is also a ti 5 that is the same idea
*Breaks into Winthrop Paroo's version of "The Wells Fargo Wagon"*
ti 6-7 combo anyone?
way up high cyber
ty phaeton
yw
I object to the plural of that word.
got it (staff interrupted important babble work)
lol
done...any clues needed?
no 5, please?
Way to go Phae!
are all four e's in the upper left corner eth's?
congrats phaeton :)

ty all
whoo hoo cyber!
wtg cyber
yay, nan!
however, I am still trying to lisp my way to an sp8, or am I confused?
waiting for my daffies to look like my icon :(
sue! -- we didn't get millionaire last night -- how did hubby make out?
and hi to jmc, trent, phae, and all!
hi uu
hi everyone
i think that was bichon's hubby
hi, nan! Actually it was bichon's hubby (I don't have one at the moment), and he won $21,500!!!
hi trent
oh -- sorry thought it was you
no lisp on the sp8
np, I wish it was!!
Nice windfall -- wish it was broadcast here
is there only one sp8? in which case i have it
yes
it was on at 4 pm here, nan, so i didn't get to watch it either, but she emailed me the result :-)
they were talking about the sp6/24
it back to the vac for me -- can't put the housework off any longer!
ok, I will stop lisping in that case (have the lispy sp and ti)
I am going to lisp for the rest of the day.
sure you can cyber!
don
don't you mean lithpth?
Yeth, that too.
isn't a spork a combo fork and spoon?
yes...but not in enable
That has been the gripe of the day kje. Join us. : D
yes enable has wrongfully excluded a word again
gotta go...have fun babbling!
enable has not got the kfc box lately...
bye phae
hi red
hi jmc how are you?
headache but okay
ugh.
*cowers behind office door*
huh?
staff make my head hurt worse
Ahhh, I totally understand that.
i don't understand why pitter is not a word--listen to the rhythm of the falling rain tell me what a fool i have been.. ..... pitter patter pitter patter
just reading the chog...never heard of "spork" before. I get the concept but not ever heard it used.
do you have children krysten? very common in kiddie food boxes and such
oh, I know what they are and even seen them in salads and stuff but never actually saw them called that.
Spoon/fork combination.
oh okay
I want pitter too! It's the thing that gets the stones out of the cherries!
too true uu
i actually own one
Enable needs it's ass kicked. From Dictionary.com...Pit"ter\, n. A contrivance for removing the pits from peaches, plums, and other stone fruit.
bah! must work bbl
bye, jmc!
of course Molly, cherry pitter
hello again - full of lovely dinner and having trouble thinking now!
this has been a very interrupted morning, so in and out frequently
hope no one is shocked at my icon, it was a giggle for jillibus' birthday
I think I need to start wearing the hip boots to work again. The BS is flowing fast and furious in here these days.
Shocked? Moi? Never. : D
lol, thanks Molly
not shocked - just liked the view :-)
not shocked - just liked the view :-)
Happy Birthday Jilli
So much she said it twice. : D
good, thanks Glant
can say it again if you like :-D
got the message, thanks
Hello again! Back from the field trip!
evening all - lovely icon Flosey - i'd take him home
hi kazz, glad you like him
Wow!!!!!
Happy Belated Birthday Flosey!
* Jilli!!!! Oops!
not me car, it's Jillibus' birhday
HB Jilli
Attention Ms. Car. Did you read that Lisa Edleston is leaving House?
Oh no!!!! Really?
Where did you read that? Did she and Hugh break up?
Yep. No Cuddy next season. That should be interesting. What? They are a couple in real life?
Yup!
Honestly, the dynamic between them is pretty well played out.
very sad -- I've always liked her a lot . . .
Everything I've read about Hugh Laurie says he's married and not to her.
married with children, yes
Really?!?!?! Those lovely tabloid mags find pictures of him and Lisa on the beach and such all the time!
apparently next season's the last and she's been getting great offers .. .
Most of what you read about him says he's been married for 20 years. And that's what he said in an interview I watched.
he seems to have a wonderful family life . . . :-)
off to return REdbox movies -- byee *poof*
Just googled it...mixed reports on all fronts. Not happily married. With Lisa / not with Lisa. Who knows!!!???
I wonder how they will write the last season with no Cuddy. Should be interesting.
No sporks- obviously enable never had kids.
Hello Kap.
grumble grumble. Hello.
I had 4 Kap, what are sporks?
cross between spoons ad forks - one handed garden cutlery
Oh good god! No! Jesse Spencer does NOT have a contract yet. I repeat, Jesse Spencer does not have a contract yet!!!!!
spoon forks. Plastic.
Hello Kaplan!
oh, lol, thanks
*Fans Car and puts a cool cloth on her head*
cafetria utensils. Hellow car.
And the report also says that season 8 will mosst likely be the last one.
not always plastic - i have some metal sporks
can't...see...lights...dim....
Really? Who knew?
interesting, I don't remember ever seeing (or hearing) the word
I think they had to pull teeth to get Laurie to agree to an 8th season. Just pray to God they don't kill House off at the end. That will piss me off.
that's what I said flosey
maybe not in Canada?
That would suck. He is such a great character.
Yes, he is. But always in a spiral of self destruction.
an interesting character too - his flaws mean the show is always good
if a bit formulaic
They must have metal sporks in the rich kid schools.
But to have him just disappear to take a leave of absence....then we could have the House Christmas Special....the House Easter Special....A Very House Halloween....Sunday mystery movie with House!
i think sporks were developed for party food - use one hand and one implement to stab/scoop food whist standing
I cant take House seriously, we always see Hugh Lawrie as a comedian!!
Didn't we have A Very House Halloween in that horror movie dream sequence? I can foresee a Hallmark Special in which the team goes to visit House in the old folks home. : D
And a brilliant one at that Deeha!
hi again, all, stepped out for a while to do actual work (of a sort)
Hello Sue! You just caught me eating a slice of cold pizza.....
I have always wished that Stephen Fry would bring his Gordon Gordon character from Bones over to House. That would be awesome.
ooh, I love pizza! (regardless of temperature)
....thank God you are here!
Oh dear. Do those of you in the weight loss group tar and feather each other for things like that? : P
No...just talk each other off the ledge....
but I am going to heat up my sesame soba noodles instead...
Hmm...sesame noodles or pizza? Sesame noodles or pizza? PIZZA!!!!!
car! come down from there!!! :-)
See...I was walking around on that field trip all day....so now I am tired and want to munch. I will undo all of that walking...albeit it was stop and go.
oh, that's right, I forgot about the field trip! How did it go?
This is what happens...i get tired and crave carbs...my brain thinks I need the "energy" to keep going...
alright something isnt right here i am short an L and no clue what it is i checked licketys list and i have all that are on there?
Drizzled at the Mayflower, but no actual hard core rain. The sun tried to come out at Plimouth Plantation and it go so humid!!! UGH! However, we have a lovely band of rain heading our way in the next hour or so.
nothing wrong with carbs, imho, especially complex carbs BUT MOVE AWAY FROM THAT PIZZA!! :-)
I'll never forget how disappointed I was in Plymouth Rock. However, there is a good clam roll place near there.
The trip itself was a blast! The mom I was paired up with is very down to earth so we had a good time. The kids seemed to enjoy it and so did I!
ohhhhh pizza i will not give up lol
I did uusue. Wrapped up the other (larger) slice and put it away. The slice I had was small.
3 le's and 9 li's are 12 like the Tile says.
great, car! sounds like fun! always wanted to go to plimouth plantation with my latest ex (whose family was in Attleboro) but never got there.
Excellent, car! Moderation is good.
The rock is very disappointing to a lot of people, but I am not sure what exactly they are expecting. Its a rock.
Hiya all
hi, movieman!
It's drawn like a cliff in history books.
My grandparents lived in Plymouth, so I was there all the time and used to it.
Well the stone is a lot smaller than it was. It was dropped by a crane after all!
referring back to Hugh Laurie, has anyone heard is album?
uusue....I have a friend who helped build the power boosters for the shuttle!!!
i have heard bits from it - okay if you like jazz
And when you think of a ship "landing at Plymouth Rock" you don't think of an itsy bitsy thing like that.
Hello Movieman! I have not. It is good?
Hugh Laurie is an amazing musician.
so cool, car! I wanted to be an astronaut when I was little...
It's pretty damn good actually, another string to his bow!!
methinks Molly has the hots for Hugh
If you like jazz? You mean there are people who don't like jazz? Inconceivable.
But they were in the Shallop, not the Mayflower when they reached the shore.
i CANNOT STAND IT
No Kazz, quite the contrary. I don't find him attractive at all. Talented, but not attractive.
I still do uusue!
Car, back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, and I was in grade school, the Mayflower, not a shallop, landed at Plymouth Rock.
well, I do too, car, but I am now way too old and decrepit (too nearsighted to be a mission specialist, and artificial knees and fused cervical vertebrae rule it out anyway)
ok fireworks
yay, sadie!!!
My vertigo would stop me from passing the test.
Well done Sadie!
ty :)
LOL Molly!
ah yes, vertigo would be a problem :-)
Especially for the spinny part!
ok, soba noodles are ready! Yum!
yes, that's the part that my neck wouldn't let me do, I suspect (the spinny part)
merry-go-round makes me dizzy i cannot do spinny
Enjoy them uusue!
Don't do well on that either.
I have to take non-drowsy Dramamine when I go to an amusement park!
I am ok on merry-go-rounds as they are not too fast, but don't like things that go in repetitive fast circles.
I do love roller coasters, though, but my orthopedic surgeon told me that once my hair turned gray that was a sign I should stay off them :-(
i do like trains water rides anyting not in circles and not way up in Gods world like rollercoasters...yea im alot of fun at an amusement park lol
LOVE roller coasters...but not so much the loopy ones.
I used to like them then I got old and decided it wouldnt be fun to fall off or something i dont know lol
OK...I am going to get the rest of my work done. Something tells me my head will be hitting the pillow early tonight!
Have a wonderful day / evening everyone!
see you later, car!!
go to knobles sadie
i hate roller coasters and love knobles
in fact i am taking my staff there in a few weeks
You're taking your staff to an amusement park, jmc? Is that your going away gift to your staff?
gah
back again only 9 left all s's
omg, i got the 9 all by my little self! I'M A GENIUS
yay, helena!
sorry, a little too proud of that
nah, be proud. is good.
also, seeing "i'm a genius" next to a picture of my kitty (who is lovely but NOT a genius) is amusing
well sure
wheee fireworks
helen is that your kitty?
yeah, his name is Odie
right bbble friends i need some good advice on kitties - my sister has just acquired a little black kitty with evil green eyes called Princess - can you offer me some advice to pass onto her please
evil eyes? haha
kitty caption should read "I iz a genius"
this is going to sound rude but is he fat or sitting funny
does she have a scratching post?
hahaha! he's a little fluffy... big boned, you know?
she does and apparently she is littered trained as well
(also, he sits oddly with his back legs splayed)
i do indeed helen - him and i come from the same camp
he's on a diet
snap
tell your sister not to let her rule her because my female young cat who is a rescue thought she was queen but soon found out i'm the boss, even tho she still tries to be!! lol
i think my sis will be too soft to be in charge of the little pussy
my male cat lies like that too helena and he iis also on a diet! i love it when he sleeps on his back with his front legs crossed and his back legs up in the air! :)
i have to remind myself that I'm the person and Odie is the cat. Otherwise, he's too cute and I'd let him take over
lilliann - odie sleeps on his back, too!
i call mine a witch kazz but her name is pepsi, she was named that when i got her
as soon as i move from my chair, whether it be the couch or wheelchair she is on it, looking at me going hahah!!!
I have 55 words down, NBT need the 9 for NBS; but I swear there aren't that many words left here.
she will eat her food, well the jelly as that is the best bit to her and then go and bully jake to eat his and he lets her, so she thinks she rules but i don't let her get away with too much unless i'm feeling soppy! :)
hmm - i know cats like that - my sis's might be called Princess but she will be queen in no time at all. Also hubby made me laugh cos he has had cats and said often you wake up with a cat bottom on your nose and claws in delicate locations when kitty wants breakfast
nef - en 9 - many chaoses
lmao kazz....very true tho. mine just pat your face and try and get under the covers
also he says they fart a lot
i think their breath can smell more than their bums
en9, en and nearly all of what prize you can win in competitions nef
i am hoping to get a photo soon so i will post it when i do
as in sport, etc
that would be nice kazz
are u seeing Nan in Salisbury
no, sadly, i can't get there
are you?
i was hoping to but can't make it on the tuesday
i am trying to work on it - i am a little short on the annual leave but i will email her later and see if we can arrange something else.
thats a shame glant
if she comes nearer up north i might be able to
i hope you can work something out kazz
hello everyone, just popping on for a minute while supper cooks
(((mom))))
yes durham is quite a way from Salibury - i lov ed durham when i was there
what's cooking?
(((Lilliann))) hello
What's for supper Mom?
hearty chicken and noodle casserole
it is a lovely city kazz but not good shopping
Yum! Comfort food!
it is a pretty good recipe. Campbell's printed it
back
ooh, sounds lovely! i ended up with a chesse and mushroom toasty as the bairn was horseriding and i couldn't be bothered to cook
no I thought that - good to visit - i did a couple of ou summer schools at the uni and loved the cathedral
I didn't want to be bothered to cook but I thought I had better
What's a toasty Lilliann? And hi JMC.
cereal? post toasty?
you would thin as it was a city it would have more shops but i lived in dover for a few years and that is one of our major ports and that is crap for shops too! i've never been in the cathedral but have seen the outside, i'm shameful to say i've never seent he castle either, well not up close anyway!
it was bread buttered on the outside with cheese and mushroom in the inside and put inside a sandwich maker
we had gammon steaks and eggs - a toasty is a toasted sandwich or it is down here
I make that casserole Mom, but I substitute fresh carrots and broccoli for the frozen veggies. It's good.
the cheese melts ant the outside gets crispy
i love baked beans and fried egg toasties
I don't put the frozen veggies in either, I put in peas just to please my sweetie
sounds tasty lill
Sounds good Lilliann. I would have to substitute something for the mushrooms, but otherwise, yum.
yopu can toast the bread in a grill and put the filling in and toast it too
"Peas To Please My Sweetie". Sounds like a country western song. : )
lol
i usually have cheese, red onion and mushroom but couldn't be bothered to slice the onion....
you can put anything in a toasty - banana and choccy buttons is good - though i dont eat cooked banana anymore
I would prefer no vegetables at all in it
Hello all. I am stuck with 2 for NBT, the K and the E in the upper left corner. Anyone up for cluing?
time to scoot the buzzer is going off. So good to see all of you. ((Hugs))
Micknick .... another word for policeman but spelled with a K
bye mom, enjoy. hugs
Mich - kr 5 - scandinavian money? el 5 - posh
bye bye ((Lilliann))
bye mom
bye bye Kazzer
so i take it you don't have sanwich makers int eh states??
spelling getting to its normal level for me!! :(
looks like mine after a bad day
they exist but are not common
eth + two vowels + n plus pl
oh ok, ty jmc

arghh, i keep looking the wrong way with these letters and am now getting the words i should have done the first time around!!
so do you have cheese on toast or welsh rarebit jmc?
Thanks for all the hlep~
Help
hint for the pe7?
same as the 4 above and nearly all of what we smaell with glant
*smell
TY Lilliann
now i thought po7/8 was two words and i just looked at my recycle as my daughter had one earlier and it is spelt 2 words on the packaging!!
yw glant
I think it's a type of hat, lilli
oh is it, ahh ok thanks sue, i'll have to go look
i thought po7/8 was to words too
ahh, so it is, and thats why the food is named....mmmm...learn something new everyday! thanks sue, never new that, i just thought it was food
this is a very slow grid!
it sure is - 53 left
do you need the po6/736 glant?
24 here
Thanks for the clue, I got the po7, but I am crashing my brain and I am not getting the pe7, another hint?
pe7, what you write with and different spelling of foot digits michnick
has the "sugar" ending, mich (that is, a 3-letter ending that is characteristic of sugars - lact***, gluc***, fruct***, etc)
*back to front spelling of foot digits
Could I have a clue for the po6/7 combo thannks?
it is a pastry food that you cook in a basin jaz
meaty tartlet and plural
but back to front
sorry, crap clue jax
did you get the clues mich?
Thanks got them both
it's a generic version of the po 8 and 9
which are also a style of jaunty hat :-)
apparently diane, first time i've ever heard of that, but i've been bought up on the food, but can't stand it!!
sorry we have grilled cheese--basically the same as your toasty but cooked on the grill
the hat is the first thing that came to my mind earlier.... depends on our ages I guess ;-)
Clue for or6 please
by the way, hi jax, diane and kate
hi lilliann :-)
Hi liliann
or6 - awkward, obstuctive
another spelling of on 5/14 I'm supposing
you are slightly older than me diane:)
I've always spelled it with the "r"
I know... that's why I was teasing !
yes another sp of the or5
Thanks, got it. Fireworks!
well done Jax
Thanks to all, internet got funky for a while but now it's back. I have to go though, my son wants the 'puter. What can I do, he's getting married on Sunday!!
30 years to be exact !
whoo hoo jax
yay, jax!
and congratulations to Mich's son!!
apparently on6 is stubborn and ill tempered.... mmmm that sounds like me!!! :)
yay jax!!
he should be worried about other stuff than the computer mich!
I think they are sending each other pics
Bye all!
hi jmc :-)
what a nice pic diane!
i know, but i was being ladylike diane and polite. but you're still young in heart i bet!
they can't wait to see each other?
all the best to him mich and i hope all goes well, bye and tc
my birthday pic ? I think it says..."ta da.... I'm 71 and happy to be so"!!
it does indeed! you only have 12 years on me
my mam is 70 in july and my dad is 74 next week
very young at heart... the grandkids keep me that way, and we have our first GREAT granddaughter due on May 30 !.... I can hardly wait :-)
very exciting
happy to report i DO NOT have a grandkid yet though! lol
working with 20+ keeps me young at heart
It's 3 years this month since I started my chemo treatments for breast cancer.... all is well to this point, and that is one of my "happiness" triggers !!!
ahh lovely diane
yay diane!
I think so too :-)))
yay, diane! (my sister, also named diane, lost her battle with breast cancer at age 41, 10 years ago)
good for you diane :)
hi diane - did my chemo for bc in 2005
It just depends on the type, and how early it was detected....hopefully there are as many good endings as sad ones !
just fi ished my 'anti hormone' tablets
I hate those .... !!..... two more years on Tamoxifen !!
yay, glan!
my cousin is now 7/8 years clear of breast cancer and she was 31 when she got it
this seems a good time to put in a plug for folding at home
you are so correct jmc.... I've truly been thinking about it.
mine was es+ and pr+ and a very big lump - plus 22 lymph nodes with cancer cells = mastectomy, chemo and radiation
you can help fight breast cancer with very little effort
I spent 5 years on tamoxifen myself as a preventative, as my sister died young of breast cancer and my mother also young of ovarian cancer; insurance wouldn't pay for $3000 genetic test so I just did (almost) everything I would have done if the test had come back positive
why do you hesitate diane?
tamoxifen made me suicidal -p i changed to arimidex/anastrazole
yikes uu!
ugh, glan, I was on antidepressants anyway the whole time (for other reasons) so didn't have that problem.
Sue, there is a strong history of breast and ovarian cancer on my father's side. I was tested for the BRCA gene mutation. Fortunately, I don't have it.
one reason... we were away a good part of the winter and shared a laptop.
folding at home jmc/
double yikes glan
oh, that must be a relief, bichon!
you are folding at home glan?
It's really weird, ecause my mother has survived breast cancer twice, once at 35.
ah but the folding at home doesn't use the part of the lap top you are using
wodering what folding at home means?
You all make me thankful I went for mammogram screening today :)
my cousin had to have chemo, radiation and a single masectomy and was pregnant before she found out she had it so lost her baby, which is very sad but she has one healthy daughter which they rhink the hormones when sshe was pregnant bought it on and she is healthy at the moment so fingers crossed that is it for her as she is more like my sister
I figure I am old enough now that I would have gotten breast cancer already if I was going to get it because of BRCA
my friemd has had BC twice in last 6 years - 2 different types
it's a little computer program that runs in the background and calculates protein folding, glan; understanding how proteins fold is one of the keys to understanding cancer
ah see my profile--it is a method of using the part of the computer you are not using to help explore proteins to learn enough to help find a cure for cancer among other things
Probaly, Sue. Are you Ashkenazic Jewish? I am
crossy's profile got the details
interesting sue - can yu send me more info by email? adigondda @ gmail.com
nope, Irish, English, and various other things (typical American mutt)
iwhat age is mammogram screening in the US?
also, bichon, remember that even if your mother has the gene you still only have a 50% chance of inheriting it
i think it's 55 here but i was diagnosed at 49
I started at 35 because of my mother's history. But, usually it's at 40 or even older.
typically 40, lilli, depending on risk factors
40 but I believe it should be earlier
my sister was diagnosed at 35; she was having regular mammograms even then but young breasts are dense and mammograms are less accurate then
i think it's 50 in england glant
I have several cousins on my Dad's side who have had breast cancer and have tested positive. One had a double mastectomy and three have had their ovaries removed
i se** the info glan
they were debating it recently... too many false positives with early screening, esp if you have no family history.
if your mother has the gene i think it is 25% because genetics is more about gramdpaernts and recessive/dominant genes
i think it should be earlier as i know so many women in their 20's and 30's who have either died or had to have masectomys
My s.i.l. died of agressive breast cancer in her mid thirties. And she wasn't Jewish
there is a lot of evidence thatbeating too much dairy may be a factor and drinking too much alcohol almost certainly is as it raises hormonal levels in women
eating not beating!
would be nice to have a screening technique that didn't involve radiation - MRI is promising but expensive, thermograms are not particularly reliable, and ultrasound is ??? (maybe expensive and also limited sensitivity)
i fortunately haven't been beaten much ;-)
my cousin had her ovaries removed aswell bichon a couple of years after all teh treatment
;-)
nor was my sister, bichon - it can strike anyone
I agree lillian, my daughters friend in college found out their 2nd day of school that she had to have a double mastectomy, however, 7 years later she was at my daughters wedding and is doing well
I had a complete hysterectomy in part because of the family history (would have saved my insurance a lot of money if they'd just paid for the genetic test)
my 3 inch by 1.5 inch tumor wasn't picked up on the mammogram or ultrasound because it was high in the breast and close to the chest wall
my best friend's mam and nan had breast cancer and both had nasectomys but her gp wouldn't let her see a consultant, said dhe'd be ok
the chemo kills your ovaries
the only good thing about BC for me was going in, through and out of the menopause in 6 weeks due to chemo!
nice to hear spray
okay i think i am going to try to beat the thunderstorm home.
bbl
Fortunately, I don't have dense breats, so a mastectectomy can see what's going on really wel
a friend of mine had no lumps, only a discharge and ended up having BC and a dbl mastectomy
bichon - my breasts aren't dense and i clearly remember the untrasound man telling me there was nothing to worry about.... my tumour was in an unusualplace
i think thats the problem, 1, you have to be over 50 to get it, 2, only in certain places, 3, doesn't alweay7s show up and 4, if it's in your armpit and painful then it's a gland and 5, if your close family have had it they still won't screen you. it's very difficult for everyone involved, even doctors as they have guidlines, i suppose!
Glan, how did you know you had bc if it did not show up on any tests?
hello all
Hi peri
bye jmc
hi peri
peri - io could feel a huge lump! and when i pressed it, it made other parts of my breast move
ok
i only found it because the weather was very hot and i couldn't sleep and i ended up on my back with my forearm over my chest - which is wheh i felt it
i had always assumed (why?) that a lump would be somewhere on the lower side of a breast, maybe towards the armpti
good that you did Glan. often the patient or sign ofther finds the lump rather than the doctor/tests
the problem i have glant, is that i had a hysterectomy at 35 and my breasts are more lumpy now than every month when a period wsa due, so i think i find something but then i'm nor sure as i have so many lumps anyway!
i used tio check every time i showered
i took myself to hospitallast year in a flat spin because i thought i'd found a new lump - which turned out to be my rib LOL
i thought i had a lump a few years ago, but it ended up being an unusual bump in one of my chest bones!
snap! lol
better to be safe than sorry
absolutely
good that it was treated tho glant and you are ok now :)
i was 49 and starting to fret over reaching my 50th birthday - but when i reached it i was so glad to still be alive that it turned into a big celebration
so it should be glant
changing the subject, how is house selling going?
no more viewings :-(
slow
doid the woman that was coming back again put in an offer?
aww, obviously not, sorry to hear that
but i am thinking of moving out because i have decided happiness is more important than money
*did
no, they seemed interested but didn;t make an offer - they have a house to sell though
definitely glant
are there friends tou can go to
monegy is sure nice to have Glant, but peace of mind is more important
if i find a room in somebody else's house or share a property with somebody i can probably afford to move out
money even :)
do you see him much in the house then? or is it just the thought of him being there?
i have a friend who i stay with but i can't take my belongings
I had to get rid of mos of my furniture whenI moved in with my sister :(
is there somewhere you can store them cheaply
i keep to my room so see him as little as possible but yes, it is mostly the knowledge that he is there and still meeting other people for sex and not pulling his weight in the housework of=r dIY departments
or with staying with a friend you might still be able to store them i somewhere for a cheap price
i can leave the belongings in the house and collect them when it sells
i'd just like to take all my art and craft stuff
mmm, i see why you want to move out, i think i would too
but can't take that to my friend's - it would be too much of an impositiomn - it;s a lot of stuff LOL
well, if you can leave most of your things there and take what you want i would move as soon as i could!
i am getting there - it's just the controil freak in me thta has kept me there - i know the house will get increasingly untidy and dirty of i leave and that will make it harder to sell
ahh, like me with my jewelly and card things! i have a whole room here, but it might take up someone else house lol
i take it he will be getting a share?
yes, i have a whole room too - kitchen units are full of beads, fabrics and card making stuff
*jewellery
he will get half
we will have to meet up at some time and just craft glant! i can't paint tho! lol
where do you live Lilli?
so, if you leave the house then it is in his best interest to keep the house clean and tidy to get the best price!
a few hours away glant1 durham
so,it will probably never happen!
my family lived in sebastapol but aren't here anymore
logically that is so - but i have come to realise that he doesn;t really wnat to sell - maybe thta is subconscious - he says he wants tio sell and move on but he isn't backing thta up with any action
durham - 7-8 hurs dirve fom cardiff?
7-8, really?!
i didn't think it was that ling
halifax is 4
ahh, aye it would be, it use to take us 5-6 getting to my other nan's in somerset
if u could gte to somerset in 6 then it wluld be the same for cardiff
well, if you ever want a holiday in durham...loads to paint you're alway welcome
would it?
thank you!
thinking about it, when i lived down south, when we went to wales it took us 4-4and half hours and somerset was 5. sorry, my memory isn't good anymore, it's give us a clue with me! :)
i mean that by the way
i know you mean it
i forget as it is differnet motorways and the bridge over bristol is always slow but the severn is quicker
and i may yet get there!
well, you're always welcome
even if that is getting you away, i have an extra room
thank you
does the pr8 go off the pr5?
yvw glant
you can always put your extra boxes in my garage with all mine from when we had the house done up 3 years ago!! lol
pr8 - lord of the ring character used the word a lot - many people who are very attractvie
golum?
ty glant
the wicked witch of the west used it too - "I'll get you my pr8, and your little dog too"
i'll be truthful and never watched lord of the rings!
at least I think so...

its ok, I am sort of relieved, but, eventually I shall start to look again.
two of us looking to rent then
so where are you going to live now if you've resigned your lease?
Normally, it is not so complicated, but it was an odd sale bank owned home, and there were some negotiantion difficulties.

hi, sue! :-)
(( lilli )) what's making you so sad?
my mam and dad live in france and have a quarter of an acre of land and they had to buy a sit down mower as it would take my dad hourd to mow it with a flymo...lol...bles him, and my mam would watch hin!!! lol
my goodness I think I'd get some sheep
i was watching a programme about finding adopted children, well majority are now adults or have passed
hi sue
hi, lilli!
oh lilli those programs always make me weepy too
my typing sucks again but it has gone midnight so my excuse or my fingers type too quick and plus half my letters have rubbed off due to babble and other word games(mainly babble) drives the bairn and hubby mad as they don'y know what they are typing!! lol
Oh No, nobody be sad, I just got rid of the sad panda icon!
yabba dabba doooo!
hi again red and happiness reigns

hi medium happy lil
*grin*
i know the letters but sometimes type too fast. i think we will have to get a new keyboard
hi luv
have you finished mpitt?
we don't mind typos
no 121 left...boo hoo!
no one could use my son's computer if they didn't know the letters by memory, he has 2 sets of letters on his keys because he was trying to learn an alternative keyboard that is supposed to be more efficient & stuck those letters on his keys too
there are a lot of p's
I've heard of that. What's it called?
there certainly are, sue!
I think's is somethig like Dvorjak???
I just noticed how many p's there are.
that's it, luv, supposed to be much more efficient
have you used it before then, sue?
nope, I am a terrible typist, just heard of it
i love all your quotes mpitt, very true, especially the one from your dad( i hope that doesn't upset you, saying it)X
I think this was something he was interested in learning at one time but never followed thru & now just has the 2 sets of letters on his keyboard
too many west!!
ah, hang on! i can gloat!! yay! i have them all! sorry all, but it's not often i can gloat on here! Lol
not at all....I love talking about my dad...he was such a great father and man...
I'm going to make dinner and come back later to 'p'
lol
you go on with your bad ol' self!!
bye west
his love and lessons flow through my mind and heart always

luv,i'm confused? as you speak in present and past tense about your son. what or did he have?
bfn west :)
i'm glad i didn't upset you mpitt
he has two sets of letters on his keyboard, one standard and one Dvorjak (sp)? So it's very confusing if you try to use his computer

I haven't been on very much the past several months...so I am out of touch with status of all
sorry, i'm not always like this, which is why i don't speak too much as i forget words, which is why i play this game!
i only chat here when i can think of words
i'll remember it in a minute...ahh transpant
*transplant
but sadly it didn't work and i think he had pneumonia aswell
OMG...how tragic...he was so young and in such terrible pain due to the rejection by his parents...I am so sad to hear this...I loved talking with him and trying to bring comfort to his life...so sad when people have to hide who they are because of others hatetred...we are all different in one way or another and if the world would practice love and tolerance it would be such a better place for everyone. I feel so sorry for his sister who seemed to understand him and even his mom a bit but his father was controlling them by his narrow mindedness.
lil don't worry I can understand you perfectly...and yes this game is great to improve our minds etc.
lil don't worry I can understand you perfectly...and yes this game is great to improve our minds etc.
it is very sad how poeple conceive others. when i was 17 i worked in a psychiatric hospital and cared for people who should never have been there, but their circumstances put them there
This is but yet another example of why we should live each day to the fullest and never go to bed mad at anyone...we never know which moment will be our last!
after that i cared for the elderly in rest homes and old sailors! they wete a laugh but the stories they told me about the war weren't!
Hi MPitt, I don't know all the details either, but I believe it was complications of malaria contracted in Korea that made his liver fail. They tried a partial transplant from his partner, but it failed. I really miss his loving, vibrant spirit.
and after that before i couldn't work i cared for people with special needs and severe behavourial problems!
I miss Nancy Boy too.
hello all
ah, molly, that was right, his liver, sorry, i couldn't remember the organ
Wow Lilliann, you have had a lot of special jobs. I'm sure you've made a difference in a lot of lives. Good for you. Hi Peri.
I miss Nancy Boy too.
When did this happen?
argghhh, my memory!! i can remember certain things and not others now!! drives me crazy!!
January, I believe.
god bless nancy boy! he's peobably watching us now teliing us what words are there and how easy it is!
Geez and the liver is an organ that can regenerate itself if my mind serves me right...I guess if it is not too damaged.
and all from an itsy bitsy mosquito?

sue, I heard back from the doctor this afternoon.
se6.24, one who watches the gate
ty
what did he/she say, bea?
It seems the meds I am taking are supposed to make me lose weight and since I am not the meds are not working.
and they were making you sick to boot, right?
I have to have another mammogram...calcification. Sheesh. Throw that boob back on the shelf- hold still...relax.
so time for new meds, I presume.
What meds would help lose weight?
oh, kap, sorry to hear that! Hope all is well!!!
yes, I need some of those too, bea!!! (just kidding, but...)
Yes, they were causing stomach "issues".
morning all ;)
Sorry to hear that, Kap. Bad enough the first time around.
It's probably the normal process of calcification- I went through this last time- it's probably nothing, but if it's something, I'll deal.
hope all goes well, Kap. (((MRP)))
hi mrp :)
hi, mrp!
hi mrp!
They just like to check. SQUEEZE!
when is the new mammo scheduled, kap?
Hi there, mrpresident
I am taking metformin because I am insulin resistant.
ti6/24?
hubz takes metformin, it has helped him lose some weight, but he'd lose more if he'd exercise will power.
Tuesday. Just on the right side. Then I sit in the waiting room with the johnny on reading "In Touch"- it's dull, unless the other women present have the same sort of sense of humor I do.
(((dawg))), doxy, sue, kje, peach, et al **hugs**!!!!
to be in ti6 shape, kje.
hi there mrp
Won't power is what is needed.
ty
thanks for the ti6.
don't forget the plural
will be thinking of you on Tuesday (and between now and then!), kap!!
I'm not too stressed because I went through this a year and a half ago.
I've been eating less than 20 grams of carbs a day plus exercising like crazy and have only lost 3 pounds in six weeks.
10!
hi peri **hugs**
how you all going??
sp5/624 combo?
My Hubs has lost 20+ pounds on MY diet.
Bzz, that's still good. remember you didn't gain it overnight, and you shouldn't try to lose it overnight.
Bea! that is really good though, lose it slowly
Kap....my moms philosophy (she's well endowed!) is that she wants to tell her doctor how about putting his "ahems" on the mammo machine and letting them squeeze those like they do her! She's the funniest 84 yr old I know!
hi ruuster **hugs**
banana sp*** then add a consonant on the end for the 6, ru

And DON'T BREATH!

These things were once considered sexy?
how old are you kap? if i may ask
Closest thing to a Man-o-gram I know about...diagnosed with testicular torsion, a man I once knew had to have his "jewels" taped to the insides of his thighs and his "weapon" taped to his stomach for a scan. Um...then they ripped off the tape.
OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
oh man!! molly
oh, dear, molly, that sounds awful...
thanks molly for the upcoming nightmare i'll be having! :)
Sorry Cos.

May I please have a clue for ti5-10 the 2nd? Thanks
hi cos! **hugs**
i have 43 left.. all 4's and 5's yay!
how are ya mrp?
Apparently, testicular torsion is pretty painful. Once he had surgery to correct it, he was good as new. That story did make a morning drive time show though.
I'll bet!
Jeez, Molly, I'm crossing my legs tight and I'm not even a guy.

One of the grossest things I've seen on film was in the mini-series "John Adams". A daughter of Adams was diagnosed with breast cancer and was given a stick to bite down on when the doctor cut off her breast.

I could have done without it Kap. Giamatti and Linney were outstanding in that series.
Yeah they were, weren't they?

And it's because of that series that I know what "dotard" means.

I am trying to play with the word dotard but am coming up empty- so I must be tired. Well done, Pres.
the docs told me to stay off it, so I am! (but just not on Sunday for the State game)
Glad to hear that you're taking care of the foot in a reasonable way, mrp :)

That is true - what city do you get yours from?

breaking news from Los Angeles: A Boeing 707 aircraft was engulfed in flames Wednesday evening at the Point Mugu Naval Air Station, officials said. Three people aboard the Navy aircraft were believed to have escaped as it was burning, the Ventura County Fire Department said.
I made mine, Gadget, in a Korean style

hello all. seain.. stuck in "speak like yoda day"??
oops
hi, m9!
no particularly good restaurants in this small town, unfortunately
evening all
hi, dan!
mmm seagull soup....
m9, i blame learning english partly from a Slovak-speaking grandmother
slovak-speaking grandmother... yoda... not much of a difference?
i am reading dickens at the moment and know one thing..we have gotten incredibly lazy with the english language since he penned his books
reading victorina authors is like learning the language all over again
correct, m9 Czech and Slovak word order more like that they are, but verb usually comes last.
which book crossy?
reading david copperfield atm
ah.. but was your grandmother short with hairs on her chin and big ears??
nt bug ears but assuridly she was of occasion in need of a visit by the razor lol
big
darn typos
LOL
avg hight, big ears, and some chin hairs :)
i have very slavic ears myself, just like grandma's
hmm... shall have to google slavic ears. Saarek ears I know... but not slavic
my grammy was a typical welsh woman 4 feet 7 inches of thunder and as wide as she was tall and would twist your ear till you cried uncle if you crossed her
never knew any of my grandparents
i knew all but one of my grandparents, and but for 2 of my great-grands, and i met but don't remember 3 great-great-grands.
My husband says his grandfather swearing in Welsh is one of the scariest things he's ever witnessed
short generations helped with that in my case. :)
WOW Seain!
oh, i've known some Czechs through the years that can swear up storm :)
and I come from looong generations.
how is spork not a word?
ENABLE is not a dictionary ;-)
oooh, Gomez is coming to town in July
We had a Czech guy attending our church when we lived in the Seattle area... he could have been my brother.
same cheeks and temple area. nose...
my mom's mom's dad was Czech.
as two of my brothers. and my dad. and pics of my grandpa.
My Dad's Dad was Czech. Allthough I think it was Bohemia at that time?
my great-grandpa emigrated from Bohemia Province of Austria-Hungary, so likely so, m9
oh... what year?? Maybe they shipped over together!LOL
1925
ah. nope.
like i said, short generations :)
1903
and then my dad was born in 1910
his parents married in 1899
like I said.. long generations.LOL
so my son Gage.. who is 5 has a grandfather (just not alive) born in 1910
yeah.. in my Grandpa's naturalization papers.. he kept having to sign that he had no allegience to the Austrian Prince.
My nephews, aged 5 and 12, had their grandfather die last night. My father died 15 years ago, so they know him only as a headstone.
awww.. I'm sorry!
i meant 25 years ago
all of my kids never met my mom
and my dad died when my oldest were 4 and 1
ty. The little one is taking it hard -- he and Pop-pop got on famously. Pop-pop had Alzheimers
oh I bet!!! It was hard on my 5 year old to have his sister move away. and my kid's grandpa died just a few weeks ago.
my kids' grandpa. He was grandpa to all of them.. not just one of my children. doh
oh, wow, that's a lot of change all at once :/
yes. he's been a little emotional.
he sorted out the sister thing to his satisfaction I think
yes, i can imagine from what i saw of my nephew today :/ That's good about the sister thing.
He insists that she's not his sister or family anymore.. because she doesn't live in the same house.
and that was really upsetting him. and he wouldn't accept that she could still be those things and not in the same house
heh. if that helps him cope, cool. I'm sure he'll come to change his mind later.
But on Easter as we were walking through the park he all of a sudden perked up and said "I know! Aiden and Loren can be my FRIENDS."
:) as good siblings ought be
yes.
And she's been very good about calling him everyday. That's one of the reasons I had her take one of the cell phones.
nice :)
i bet that means a lot to hm
him
oh yes.
and he calls her too!
my cousin's husband has a brother 25 years younger than he is. His parents had empty nest, so had another.
they just had the two?
wow
i have an aunt that is 13 and a half months older than me
that is a lot of years in between!!
hell, my one great-grandmother was 21 years younger than her eldest sibling. OTOH, she was 19 of 23 born over 25 years.
the oldest in our family is 20 years older than I am.
my dad was a month older than his youngest uncle, who is 27 years younger than his eldest sibling
yeah it is, mrp
9 of us spread over 20 years
would someone pls help me with the ep7
My Dad is older than one of his uncle's too
my mom is 22 years older than her baby sister, her baby sister has never known my mom not married
Richard the Lionhearted??
looking for it, peri

Rapture?
you know, where only the good people get swept up to heaven and the rest of us keep on keeping on. Or something like that.
finally, fireworks
and now for crossy,s final tidbit of the day....
When Burger King decided to sell fast-food Down Under, they found that there was already a local carry-out restaurant called “Burger King.†As a result, if you’re looking for a Whopper in Australia today, you’ll have to go to a chain called “Hungry Jack’s.â€
yay, peri!!
oh, ok
yaa for peri!!
ty, now off to bed to read for a while, byeee
gg peri!
surprised they didn't have enough pull to force the locals to change their name, crossy! that's how it would have worked here, I think...
bye, peri!
g'night peri
i imagine the burger ling there predated the famous american food chain and they figured discretion was best
king
otherwise you would be correct
I got fed up with BK when they started an ad campaign for the kids meals that had girls with square butts and said "booty is booty"

hi all -- busy day -- too tired to finish this -- not even halfway yet!
The McCafe coffees are tasty :)
hey jilli.. not over the celebrations?
all very starbucks type of decor
good evening, jilli, hopefully the day was pleasant and not just exhausting
howdy jillu
I don't drink coffee so I wouldn't know
and i am very much not a McD's fan at all.
jilli
i drink some coffee, but not lots.
crossy also does not do coffee
dc, it was the first really spring-like day we've had after a dreary, cold, wet winter, March, April and half of May
hi, jilli, gorgeous garden!!
all the numbing from this morning's dental work has worn off.. I am now feeling a little sore. Was hoping that wasn't gonna happen!
a very nice 'english" style garden jilli:))
Thanks, sue -- I love it -- it's a constantly changing joy I look at every day from my "office".
crossy, my garden helper is a lovely English import named Nicola.
oh, yes, a day like that is worth tiredness :)
sorry about your soreness, m9!
hmmm.. outside the kitchen windows it's just all white with lilacs. front windows pink dogwood. but the windows I sit next to?... the neighbors new landscaping of river rock and lava rock. which in spite of what I think they were shooting for.. has a LOT of huge dandelions sproinking up
oh dear, m9 -- maybe it will be full of lovely rockery plants later
no.. they already planted those bits I think. It's pretty sad actually.LOL At least they kept the pretty rose the last tenent put in
oh! i was at the Nat'l Gallery Sculpture garden yesterday, where i found the granite chairs i used to sit in in the East Building of the Gallery to read my Sunday papers back when.
where my driveway begins it's flanked now by two flowering cherry trees.
yes jilli i saw the influence in it,placing flowers and shrubs just so,so as to appear 'natural"
how lovely, jilli :)
In full bloom
Houston TX used to be the largest city in the world without a golden arch because there was a mcdonalds burger place which predated the golden arches version
nifty, jmc :) and not a bad thing, IMHO
Our island has no McDonalds or any other chain food store.
for the best jilli
the trademark law is fairly clear--if someone is already using a name in a geographical region the other company can't use it no matter how big and powerful--thus hungry jacks
mcd bought out the company in Houston in the early 80's
But we have lots of cafes and restaurants.
so how come amazon.com was able to force the pre-existing women's bookstore to change its name?
i don't know--it is very fact intensive law
jmc, was this the Houston chain? http://tinyurl.com/5r6jxkp
I wish that had been so here, jmc. When I moved here 15 years ago I joined Seniors for Seniors which had been going for years -- a strictly volunteer organisation. Then a big Toronto outfit announced that they were going to use the name and would sue if our little group held on to it. Of course the locals couldn't afford to fight, so the bully won. Accchh.
lack of chains hopefully means better food, jilli
Oh yes, dc -- no complaints. Lots of super chefs -- but not a lot of really quick and cheap lunches. But we live on the famous "Salt Spring Time" -- which can be annoying when you want to get something done.
did my icon change?
could be dc
Yes, when I clicked on it, m9 -- I see a sunset and a branch, I think.
it did, m9!
i still see the bottle building
what often happens is that someone sues and the other group caves because they feel they can't afford the cost of litigation
it's my window jilli
Exactly, jmc. Bullying. Nasty.
there are little wood shelves built across it
ah, I see, m9 -- and there's a glass insulator on it, if I'm not mistaken.
yes
and a graduated beaker
crossy used to collect insulators
well jilli you can always choose to stand up to them
herin needs to collect the plot
I had a few back in Quebec -- couldn't bring them here -- downsizing in a big way.
okay i am off to bed
hi bye herin
g'night jmc
hello, herin

My elder nephew admitted to me that he was having trouble understanding the metric system. I explained that it works like our money does, and equated prefixes to decimal, cent, and decade. I was befuddled that anyone could find it hard.
I don't even know my times tables so don't ask me
sp8 please?
I don't think it would be hard to learn the first time, it's unlearning the non-metric system that's hard
I don't have it sorry

hi and bye terri didn't know you were here
I have to lie flat on the couch damn cat
sorry west dont have that one yet
our cats use us for beds too herin
thank you shorty I'll keep looking
No this is because himself burried his little furiness into my legs and made me sleep all funny
oh no but you love him just the same
I do. He has done this all week. I have woken up with one leg on the edge of the bed and the other elsewhere. He loves sleeping on your feet. Which makes a great hot water bottle
I agree they make great foot warmers
And great company
well i must get to bed....not bad for 101 words, thanks for the clues!
all pets are great, aren't they?
good night Jen
They are. And they give me unconditional love. Night Jen
bet they miss you now you're working full time
Yes they did miss me.
nice they have each other though
Snort yeah right. She tolerates him
but she really loves him lol
I think so
Lucius is all black isn't he?
They work as a tag team for food
hah so do ours
yes he is with a white dab under his chin and wisps of white under his legs
our new cat is all black too and she's Lucy
she's so talkative
if I play babble late into the night and try to sneak upstairs she wakes my husband up
'where have you been?' why are you so late?' lol
it's pouring again
ah -- halfway -- goal achieved. Hello all.
hi jilli
hi jilli. Beautiful window view! And I like your gourds, west
thanks nef I'm ahead of myself
jilli that is a beautiful view
Sorry West My pc had to be rebooted
that's okay herin I knew you didn't just leave
NOpe I froze my pc.
jilli; I know that you wish more peoplw would change their icon each day; but it isn't possible for me to do often; and there are many days I'm not here (because of work. So even if I don't participate in the daily icon thing; I do enjoy seeing yours and everyone else's too.
At least your cat doesn't try to make you sleep on the couch
lol herin mine are very sp6/21
It is sad when you have to go to bed at a resonable time otherwise the cats steal the bed
and complain when you move them just so slightly
O no you can't move them. Heaven forbid that would happen
No mine just move back to were they were and be damned if you are uncomfortable. I bet one of them is back in bed now
Nef, I understand! I' amazed that so many people who work full time are able to babble at all.
I'm lucky -- I have something lovely to look at out of every window in my little house.
I just sneak in babble
jilli I had a really nice view and write up and my picture was so darned big I finally gave up
I don't have a pic of my front yard
Not having a job means I can babble again
oh herin did you get laid off?
Yes and no. I didn't pass probation. Nothing I did. Just a case of hiring more than they were keeping.
I wish I could say it was because I did something dramatic but no
but now you have work experience in your field
I do. And cats that have had their attitude adjusted
I like your attitude !!
*stupid Babble ate a word I had already*
Well you can't be grumpy pants nothing would get done
that's for sure
have to feed the stray brb
who the heck thought up half of these words. These all seem newish to me
I'm back and I agree
down to 8 left
I have played for a while and these words seem to be real head scratchers.
O West do you have a new kitty? A stray? or is it one that you feed
just a feral cat that comes here every night for a handout
aww poor baby. Is it tame?
he's getting better but used to run away when he saw me
now he waits until I come out and then waits in the garage
I call him Foo..don't know why lol
That is good that he is getting friendlier.
he and our male used to fight but he's nicer now I've started feeding him
A friend of mine used to work at a place that had a big feral cat issue. There were lots of them. I told her that it would be kinder to trap them and give them to a shelter to humanly put to sleep than have them always breeding. AND I am a huge animal lover
A very old friend rescued an alley cat the same way you are doing West and he turned out to be a great indoors cat.
I agree herin where we used to live they would trap the ferals and spay and neuter them
But that doesn't stop the problem. That is only part of the solution. I am not saying destroy them all but some just can't be tamed
the 5 kittens that were born under my bush were born to a feral, kind of. She is going to get spayed on Friday. 4 of the kttens have been adopted, one left
hi joey how's Gracie doing?
Awww Joey what will happen to mumma kitty?
mama is the one getting spayed. Gracie is still outside, I am trying to figure out things. I don't know how to handle - if I bring Gracie in, mama is still living outside my door
But she can't just be spayed and let to roam
we once had a mother, father and son after awhile the mother wanted the son to go
why not?
Because she will still fight, still steal food, still possibly spread FAIDS
she doesn't have to steal food, she is fed well by me. she doesn't fight, and I am sorry, being a new cat owner I have no idea what FAIDS is?
they should vaccinate her when they spay her
FAIDS is Feline Aids.
west, that is definitely going to happen. she is going to get everything that she needs
she must prefer being outdoors
So she will just live in your yard outside?
kind of like a barn cat?
yes, she will be outside. yes she has been in the house and went outside voluntarily
joey you had some harsh weather this winter did she want to come in at all during it?
nope. she didn't want to
Has she got shelter?
during the hail storm the other week, the 5 kittens came in the house, mama left the area as soon as the kittens were inside. she has shelter on my front porch. food, water, gets petted, etc
awww. So she isn't complete feral. Poor love. Just makes me so sad that she doesn't want a human to care for her properly
west -- sorry -- I went to get the next icon (Roberto Capucci) -- missed your comment that your picture was too big. Did you try the site in my profile (scroll down)?
You guys are making me miss my dogs and cats even more... :-(
we think that folks down the street left her behind when they moved. she has been coming to my house, staying near for over 18 months
thanks jilli I knew you had posted it somewhere
I'll remember that now
So maybe one day she may come inside?
COuld you dog sit Jill?
doubt it - she has been outside for a long time.
so sad Joey
how does your house cat get along with the mom?
can someone help with the 2nd sp 5/12
I don't think it is sad. she seems to be happy and content. she trusts me completely, I can pick her up, she just doesn't want to say inside
It is sad that people just didn't care about her to start with
yes, I totally agree with that
Our black and white Cat Sox was a stray. He was a great cat. Someone left him when they moved.
I just posted quite a long bit which vanished.
we had a cat who disappeared right when we moved figured he just didn't want to go
hate that jilli
I said my neighbours have a cat I looked after one summer when they were away. She comes with them every time they come over here and feels very comfortable, but she's THEIR cat, not mine, and she lets me know it.
joey s and animal p***
it's fur
I remember when you took care of her jilli
Cats will do that Jill. We have a house sitter when we go away. I am sure the cats own them
i think that that is my 4th sp?
Well, my late Susiecat just showed up one day and adopted us for the next nearly 19 years.
3rd is longy talk
I got it. was going for pi instead of pe
good !!
Jill would you ever consider getting another pet? I don't mean this in a rude or inconsiderate manner either
I could use help with the se6/24 please
****late bday hugs for jill**** I am swamped with work. Just popped in tonight to say hello
Hi Stid
hi stid
There is also a beautiful neighbourhood cat, very friendly and affectionate. I'd love to let him in the hosue for a cuddle but I hear he has tapeworm so no thanks. Don't want that shed all over and infecting the neighbours' visiting feline.
why not treat the tapeworm?
hello stiddie. I look forward to the day when you're not swamped!
Stid -- the owner doesn't seem interesting in treatment.
eww Jill. I would so want to catch and cure the kitty
*interested
that's too bad. *stern mama look at pet owners who don't care*
anyway... I am almost NBT but so very tired. Going to bed before 10 for a change... see you-all on the weekend maybe! *poof*
This person has 3 dogs who bark every time anyone on the street moves. The owner is not cooperative.
My neighbours dog who lives 3 doors down barks when anyone comes past. If I am out side I do yell out the dogs name and he most of the time stops
spork isn't a word???
I wish that worked here, herin!
No it isn't Mark I too was disappointed.
Jill I do it I sound like a fish mongers wife
lovely photo, mark!
I don't even know the dogs' names.
I just mutter "Oh, shut up".

ep 7/36
e 7/32
that's pe 7/32
help please, sp7 x 2
I don't have the ep; but the pe7 is a writing instrument and a weird way to spell the foot digits
snags, the sp7's I have are identical except for the 3rd letter vowel
ep 7/32 is a term, usually derogatory, used to describe a characteristic of a person...can't think of another way to clue this
Thaks, pc!
