all i have to say is * sob* OUCH!!!!!

mari, as days go in recovery, it was easy peasy. i have done a full 8 hour shift, on concrete floors. and light duties? don't make me laugh. the heirarchy think i am superwoman. i forgot all about cold packs until 3:30pm. once i had one of those on, it was instant relief.
bet you sleep tonight :)
tomorrow i do a 6 hour shift, starting at 7:30am. and this time i won't forget the gravy...er....cold pack.

although technically I have not unretired, I am working while still retired (so no more than 3/4 time, I keep my pension, and they don't pay me very much)
it's kind of fun, actually, it's very different from what I was doing before
that is perfect!
and the whole point of not unretiring was that I don't have to pay anything back (I made it clear that was not in the cards)

And the debt to income ratio is upside down. As in, once a degree is earned, the income is not enough to manage the debt.

I taught in Binghamton public schools but when I quit, I took my pension (tiny!) as a lump sum because I needed the money

i am sorry..a kid coming out of HS...heading to university..if the universities all had standards like oxford and cambridge... the graduating students would have jobs

yes but the feeding tube is a blessing because now he can get the proper nutrition and is so much better...the catheter also helped because his chemo caused the tubes to his kidneys to stop so now they are working will get that out thursday...sosee it is the miracle of science that has made him better...so we are grateful for that

yes his sodium is usually the problem but it was the best it's been...his potassium, calcium and magnesium went way low...thought he waas going to stroke out or have a heart attack...they wer working on him quick...alll is ok now

hmmm not really, I think. I mean we have lots and lots of rain, but that has been the case most of the summer as well. It is still not really cold and the trees aren't in their flaming colours yet. Lots of spiders though!
we used to have spiders living in our side view mirror of the car...we named her yearly ( as I presume was a new one each year...)... we had linda, and mona, and i forget n but then octavia...
i would go to the dealership and warn them to NOT remove the spider as my daughter would be most distraught
