According to a recent news article, Sask. and Manitoba are the best places to be living in Canada at the mo

before we moved to Coronado the only transportation was the ferry and people seemed to like it then in 1969 they built the bridge we moved there in 1976 so we never experienced using the ferry much later they brought it back as a tourist thing

our next project is to put in some sort of deck or patio but back yard gets almost no sun

Melbourne Cup had a fashions on the field racing semi and she won that *(new car and all that) and then took out the fashion on the field final and won walked away with $100,000 of booty including a $66,500 Saab convertible, Paspaley jewellery worth $10,000, a $5000 Myer shopping voucher and a $4000 Longines watch after winning the national Fashions on the Field competition on Oaks Day at Flemington.
Now that is a massive prize for a 20 year old
me too with the rose -- and cape fuchsias which just won't quit, and dahlias and lots of other things still blooming

The lady said they speak nothing but Dutch at home because she wants her daughter to know more than one language. I understand that somewhere along the line, the psyches of these people have developed with these proclivities and that to them it feels natural. I feel that there should be some mechanism in law that allows people involved in these unions to enjoy the same laws and privileges in matters of taxation, retirement benefets, health benefits, etc. as heterosexual couples. What I do object to is calling such a bonding marriage, implying blessing by the church (call me archaic). So why not have the law recognize "gay union" in the same manner as marriage -- after all we have "gay pride" - why not "gay union" as well?

yup. I've got it pretty bad in my thumbs. Even handwriting is difficult. Doctor wanted to remove a joint from each thumb
and baking bread got too painful, so hubby bought me a bread machine
the best part of my baking was crust. I made very good crust, if I do say so myself
I've found Sara Lee makes very good pies though
bread machines are wonderful devices, as are rice cookers

I've lost 83 pounds since 2 years ago... and I'm still 25 pounds overweight

and that was great, to lose that much nrk!!
If I lost enough to get "inside the charts" I'd look emaciated... my body is not proportioned properly... my brothers used to call me a pillow with toothpicks sticking out :)

At my heaviest (when pregnant) my joints ached and I was short of breath. And even after the babies were born (one at a time) and the other weight (about 40 extra pounds) stayed, my joints still hurt and my energy just wasn't there....

my arthritis is osteo, but I have old injuries, and the pain is mostly do to with them
I don't like taking extra things, but found this past couple years that I do better with certain vitamins supplemented. That gave me the energy to NOT sit and just veg all winter last year, and it made a difference.
jilli, I'm big on pharmaceuticals myself, but my BP had always been very good until 2 years ago, when the stress of my terrible job and my weight combined in a bad way... and that scared me
