No, the orthopedist said it wouldn't help-- and the treatments I did have did indeed not. He says if it gets quite a bit worse we can consider fusing the vertebrae.

I would advocate a second opinion. the doc may be correct, but it seems to me that often a decision is made rather more quickly than reasonable.
there may be other types of therapies (or different exercises) that will help. just an idea... it took me years to get over the constant back pain.

Prop 8 and the people that have said '' People have spoken and said Yes to prop 8 suck it up'' made me think. What if all the people that made important changes to the world accepted the negative as the ultimate answer. We wouldn't have the vote as women, we would still have backyard abortions and we would still have people of colour being segregated in ever day activity. Also insert anything you can think of that we have said the negative to and changed due to protests and the such. I feel that we as people should be allowed to be believe in what we believe in. Yes marriage seems to based on Man and Woman in the Church and that some Church's will never allow a marriage to occur outside Man and Woman. That is fine but why should the Church dictate law. Because the Law and Church are different entities. Why cant the word Marriage appear in our law as a ''partnership of legal legitimacy between 2 consenting adults regardless of sex'' GLBT people should be allowed to have the same rights as anyone else. They are people not some trash that deserves less rights because of their sexual preference. Say NO to PROP 8. Keep the dream alive that we, the people will succeed in making a change for the right thing. (yes i realise at the moment that there is other laws being made of an idiotic nature but I don't want to confuse the issues)
