holly frog melon poor lad. I really do feel for him. I had a meltdown at 20 didn't eat for 3 days stayed in a chair. Freaked out the parents. I understand melon. I am glad he is getting help
I'm OK. I called his dad, who did his usual chest thumping at the ER. At least now they see the family dynamic. My kid has learning disabilities, is in a good school that has a ghetto elemnt, and just gets overwhelmed. I got after him for blowing off homework & he snapped.

he's home. Funny thing - a few years ago I had to talk them OUT of admitting him. This time, I was wondering if admitting would be a good idea. In the three hours we were there, he settled down. The social workers were great. I call his psy doc in the morning - umm in about 4 hours.
Seems like he has a wonderful caring mother too
