starbucks gets a bad rap - I use peets, but starbucks has good practices overall, makes good coffee, is fairest to their employees than any company I have heard of (full benefits including paid health insurance even if only part time working a few hours/week) and lots of fair trade

Up until about 1970 or so 95% of kids were potty trained by age 24 mo. Now child-centered parenting & "pull-ups" have delayed the completion of toilet training to closer to 4 for the majority of kids. So sad. Start early and kids can be trained by 24 mo!

Notice when the kid pees/poops, communicate that with the child, demonstrate use of the potty. We show and teach kids to use a spoon and fork. Elimination is just another task to learn, not one to be dreaded or approached with anxiety. Just do it.
