it was a fundraiser for our public schools oodle. I choreograph some of the numbers in it! Its a lip synch song and dance show, and this year was our 10th anniversary. We've raised about $700,000 in total over those 10 years :)

We don't know jess -- or I would be sure to remove whatever did it. Thought at first he had torn another nail, then realized it was his paw. But at first it seemed really small. It wasn't until three or four days later that he let me get close enough to see that it was a lot bigger. STILL, the progress is that since we got him to the vet, he HAS been letting me clean it and it is getting better.

I know how to do it, pini. You calmly and firmly get the dog to lie down and hold the paw in your non-dominant hand. Look for the place where the nail appears to be made of softer tissue. DON'T cut there, cut closer to the tip. Use a SHARP cutter so it doesn't pinch. It can be useful to watch an experienced person once.
yup. makes them sleepy, but won't knock them out. i don't recommend it for dogs with known liver problems,or on a daily basis unless they have allergic issues. but works wonders for dogs that get nervous in the car and such.
