That's pretty oppressive. I'm never happy in the summer with high humidity. Luckily this summer we'll be in NOrway for two weeks in July and I'll be in the Bay Area of CA for two weeks in August.
last year, we had an all time low temp over winter... it was 13 C (55 F) and it was cold! with the souther ocean breeze it reduced the temp, and we were cold!
we would be jumping for joy here for a 55 degree DAY in winter!

Hey everyone, if you have an iphone, check out Scramble Live. It's free and very much like this game except you have to do the best you can in 3 minutes and record your highest score. You can even play with a friend just by having a 3min go, then handing over the iphone to your friend so they can have a go. You can play solo, but also on the internet again 50 - 200+ users in one game - and at the end you see the top 3 with pics. Easy to use and at the end you see all the words and which ones you got.

whenever we have children stay over, they make breakfast... the best so far has been a 12 egg omlette with diced bacon, half a cup of mozzarella cheese and tabasco sauce. Incredible!! they love to make breakfast, and it is their way of saying 'thank you' to them staying with us

today was another field trip and all went very well as I reminded them to give him a little extra warning and make sure he knew where he was supposed to be
Some kids are dandelions - they bloom anywhere even when the conditions are not the best. Other kids are orchids - they need lots of tender care and don't bloom everywhere but when they do, they are beautiful!

Federal income tax refunds [code 109]. Did you get a federal tax refund in 2008 because you filed an amended federal return for a prior year or were audited? If so, you must add back the refund amount because it was claimed as part of your federal tax subtraction on your Oregon return for the prior year. Do not include the federal tax rebate (economic stimulus payment) you may have received.
I didn't file an amended return...
so the way it works is that you get to deduct your federal taxes from your OR income so when they get refunded you have to pay taxes on them

no apparently you get to deduct from the state return the federal taxes and probably add back in the state taxes.. . . probably depends on if you itemize
