I don't know what my dauther's school is teaching them, but the teacher said that Europe and Asia are one continent now and is called Eurasia (it's in the grid)

what bugs me is the name changes of cities, and particularly the spelling change of Chinese to Pinyin, so that the city of my birth went from Peking to Beijing. At least Shanghai and Hong Kong stayed the same.

A sore subject, lynxxx. The wallpapering is done as far as I can do it - we're waiting for doors to be hung on the fitted wardrobes. The Sistine Chapel ceiling was painted in less time.
we are going to the Dom Rep in 2 1/2 weeks :-)
However, it's livable in and once the doors are hung and carpet fitted, it shouldn't take long to be complete.

It is only 3 years old but needs completely repainting and recarpeting. It smells so badly of smoke but we can sort that out with a good airing

from cigarettes, it was owned by a landlord and the tenants smoked really badly, the carpet in the main bedroom is covered with fag burns

I hate using chemicals. I use Method cleaners. I do bleach the loo *that is a given* and we borrowed the b.fs mum steam mop which is great
