arroz con gondulas...I think they might be apers or something quite close to them...could come from the spanish "gondola" which usually has a round envelope/ canopy///these are little round balls of (?) I could never find them anywhere...
capers...

something like that. Hey what is wrong with raised by wolves at least one doesn't pee on the floor
lol herin
of or pertaining to human beings or their span of existence on earth.
well you certainly wouldn't be a vegetarian
being raised by wolves means that if there's a tone, i'm quick to drag it down
Did you know that when a zombie apocalypse comes that the vegans go first as Grains are good for you
i'm about to change the script and head off for the GYM!
Got the 11 - need another 9 tho

Bit of both really Jill you put me in teh right dirrection
na 7/28

dreadful idea, flavoured vodka!
Oh its the best

Plus when it is drunk with lemonaide it looks and smells like raspberry
I like my vodka plain and simple on lots of ice
Jaianniah Hi long time no see

Hi, Lady....I goofed bad tonight!!!

No West. The term is I mope therefore I am

hello Kazzer -- stid was all excited to hear you lived in Chard -- her mother was there a little while ago (stidgmere)
West I have music on when I am in my study i just didn't realise that anyone was home as both the neighbours cars are not there
why can't the pi4/4 have a y at the end?
ooh wow - not much here to get excited about though
I think it should, west
nothing wrong with loud music I like to crank mine up too
I do not know but it can have another letter, though....
well, Kazz, there's that huge bullock...
oh thanks jaia
yw
hi Kaz
woohoo one of our books that moved into our house after we moved has been refound. Happy bounce
good good good !!!
hmmm yes - thats true and there is supposed to be a very good museaum but in the last 5.5 years we have not managed to visit it once. Chard is the home of the first powered flight. A chap called Stringfellow invented a steam driven 'plane'
oh kaz imagine if there could be one today
Considering one its a limited release and 2 its very expensive. I was a bit peeved that the owner may have borrowed it back
books were made to be borrowed
Well this one shouldn't since we pinched it far and square :D
right jilli ?
but the original owners do like to get them back. i had a book about the hospital that was set up in the Flklands War and a friend borrowed it we lost touch and that was that
what's the title herin?
Encyclopaedia vampirica
it may come back to you kaz I hope so
not convinced
wow herin that sounds like a great book..everything you ever wanted to know about vampires?
yes, west, that's what libraries are for ;)
no its a role playing book. This person has screwed us over so fairs fair
any chance that person will be at your house some day?
If she is there better be a shallow grave ready some where
take it not one of your favorite people
so take that as a no
No
she decided to go off and do something else instead of attending 2 friends birthdays
see ya late
oops later
that wasn't very polite
I'm going to bed -- have been sleeping much too late in the mornings so have set the alarm
bye kazz
if you've been sleeping you probably need it
goodnight jilli, playing tomorrow night?

yes, flosey -- you?
I thought it was cute
yes, see you there
NIght jill
and flosey -- your cat's gift must have been scary too!
hope it doesn't give you nightmares
it was jilli, I almost tripped over it
anybody see my icon?
yes jilli, that's quite a full bed
that's so funny sorry I didn't have a chance to look before
they really were all asleep
Goodness me Jill that is one squished Hubby
but happy, herin!
true
well, off I go -- doubt if I'll finish this -- busy tomorrow
always a pleasure jilli sleep well
oh before you go...I love that word site
well I must be off to do assignments. Have a good sleep and day

for school?
G'night all, off to get a cuppa and read blogs for a while. God bless.
Yes Christine and goodnight
morning everyone good day to have off sick I see!
Morning Katie...seems so, bit tricky too. How's your mouth?
still really sore should be a couple of days before it gets better with the antibiotics but she was very good, said just keep maxing the pain killers.
I'm off sick today and tomorrow but will work at home when I can, concentration levels aren't what they could be lol
You can't afford, workwise, to have some real sick days?
sadly not. I have a paper which needs to be finished today and some other things to look at but once I have done that I can have the whole of tomorrow off sick lol
seriously I will only work when I can, sick is sick as they say!
good!
how you doing?
personally? OK, loving retirement. Gridwise, soso, have hit Morewods earlier than I like, but no list yet..still got 118 to find!
it is a lot harder than a grid of this size has the right to be. Glad you are loving retirement, I think they are the best years of your life, you learn to appreciate!
off to get a coffee, concentration levels shot today!!
wow got the 11...morning all
hi Kallia, well done

Morning Haz
Hi Haz
Good Morning Haz
Hello there!
I've a feeling that Lickety's list will be a boon today.
afraid so
nice big Puzzle, have Grandaughter here for the week before school starts,so not to much babbletime
What age is your granddaughter, Yvo?
11
Old enough to help with babble. Will she go swimming with you?
and rain is forecast so not to much outdoor activity
caps
of all weeks to do it they choose to drain pool this week
Oh, what a shame!
she no doupt will babble i got her a membership
she is Fooey
I'll look out for her, what's her babble name?
her dogs name
Okay, I should be able to remember that. She'd just better not get more words than you.
Yvo, my 9 yr old g/dtr loves helping me with babble...her reading and spelling seems to have improved...LOL
shes always so exited when she can find a word
She's not the only one, Yvo! I get a sense of triumph when I hunt them down.
actually i think kids love doing it
It's a great game- trouble is so many kids get side-tracked by the chat log rather than concentrating on the word finding.
its a fun thing for me ,and youre right ive noticed that
I'm just laughing to myself at the irony of complaining about people being sidetracked by the chat when I haven't entered a word myself for a while!
But you know what I mean.
gotta run, things to do..back later
Bye Kallia.
bye kallia
im concentrating on laword
after ill have some coffee ,so take care evryone i will be in and out ,have a nice day
bye Yvo
Have a nice day, Yvo and enjoy Fooey's company.
bye evryone ,just alittle sidenote im a one finger typer so im slow ,and oftentimes dont participate but im here evry day
It's always good to talk to you, Yvo.
Thank you Haz andLynxxx
I should be disciplined as well and concentrate on the letter h. H for housework.... See you later, and if Katie comes back, glad that your mouth is easing a bit. Back later!
off for something to eat myself. Bye Haz
Cheery-bye, lynxxx.

hi Rose & Liz. Good luck tomorrow Rose!
thanx lyn
What's the recovery period like in terms of mobility etc?
hi Lynxxx
whoot! wasn't watching, just bbling away.....fireworks
Congratulations grannyrose!
Good one Rose, Congrats!
haz, 3-4 weeks in plaster, then the oh so elegant camwalker again (not)for about 8-12 weeks, months in hydrotherapy....
Hi rose
So you're not going to be firing on all cylinders for a while. I hope it's all worth it in the end, that's the most important thing.
i won't have the same range of movement( never will be able to pirouette again)but most of the pain will go.
hey herin
Pirouetting is overrated.
as long as you can still sling your leg over the bike
Awww poor Rose.
oh, yeah... that's the most important bit * grin*
haz, made the workcover surgeon smile, but.
You've got to get your laughs wherever you can, don't you?
i got a word!
WDY.
T
Well done you!
haz, it's either laugh or cry at the moment. i choose to laugh
You're quite right - I'm sure there will be days when it will be hard to summon a smile let alone a laugh, but keep looking for the positives and they'll come through eventually.
All I know is that I'm remembering that arthrodesis word and will be triumphant if it ever appears in the grid.
Yclept from yesterday is another one.
lol, you and me both, haz
Granny hope you feel better soon
Have you got the 11 Haz?
We'll be able to clue it - ar11 -as performed on Grannyrose.
phoned hubby to see if he was coming home for lunch as my bed is calling me he said he didn't have time, told him two parcels had arrived from ebay he said he would be home in half an hour, I like a man with his priorities right!!
rofl
THat is nice Katie
I'd be awfully suspicious about those two parcels from e-bay.
thanx herin, i hope it's worth it!!!!
sadly they are linked to the train set!
hone him back and tel him to bring lunch for you - in bed
(phone)
I was going to put up arrow pointing to the shed he would now be sleeping in
arrows
He has a train set? My husband's only regret about having daughters is that he had no excuse for a train set.
I would to Katie
lyn, maybe not such a good idea.kate might need to sleep........
he has a whole room for it. I worked out early in our relationship that he needed 'boy space' which would mean he didn't keep altering the rest of the house
Cute Katie
does anyone else get doghouse gifts from their other half?
Katie, he could be doing far worse than playing with trains.
I have put my foot down on him knocking down retaining walls to build a tunnel
What is a gift? I get spoilt always
exactly Haz, keeps him quiet and safe and everyone needs a hobby
too true, your bf is one of a kind
Mari brought me flowers this morning as i was feeling poorly :-)
There's something about trains. I can't see the same attraction with Scalectrix etc, but trains are fun.
aaawwww, that's so sweet
Yep he is
I have found that I can now discuss the colour the grass should be and what trees I prefer and automatically pick up no more nails whenever I see it for sale
Katie probably designs the towns for him - or at least oversees
He doesn't change the colour of the grass to fit the season? Or sprinkle snow at Christmas time?
Oh hadn't thought of the snow, a bit of icing sugar on christmas eve would be a great idea
If he had a station he could have all the little figures carrying lots of shopping.
It would be nice, wouldn't it? I'm wasted, I should have a train set.
think of the hours of fun, and you can get little people with bags of shopping honestly
Does he get his stuff from e-bay most of the time or is there another source of train goods?
hi all
Good morning jmc.
hii jmc
hi jmc
Hi JM

Hello torgone.
Hello jacq.
Hiya, Tor.
aster
Sorry. Dammit.
Hey, tor, long time no see!
Judi, don't feel bad. I wrote an eight letter word (which went to a 9) in the chat area last nite....PB time for me!
Yes, Judi. Don't think of it as a dis as5/10.
Oh, that was good and punny, Haz!
I like puns.
*waves from Penalty Box*
So do eye.
Torgone, you've gone awfully quiet. Are you stunned by the size of the grid?
lol
I think he may have fainted. Or perhaps he's just dived in.
It's bad enough that we have hardly any men, it can't be good when we can't get a word out of them other than 'Yikes'
lol
very true Haz
Tor, honey... do you need CPR?
Can I get to put on the paddles and yell 'CLEAR'?
sure Haz
I've seen them doing it on ER, I'm sure it's not that hard.
ca7? either one?
steps back
I actually have an AED handy. CLEAR!
ca7 - looks and perhaps sounds like ca plus a misspelled attorney or solicitor.
Or ca plus two letters (** and behold) plus 365 days minus a vowel.
thanks
The second ca7 - three letters for headgear, combine with a word relating to the spoken word.
You're welcome.
The j's must be really bad. I can't monkey a single one.
They're odd. A letter short of an old banger of a car, and its plural.
judi like the wrecked car
Then change the second vowel in the old car crock, plural again.
Ty for clues for clunkers.
then change second vowel
ja7/57 - ja, one circuit of race track, descriptive (almost frozen water) ending
Ty for the j's. Got them all. :))
Well done, Judi.

sy5/16 - s plus write the little bunch of flowers backwards
I have 4 of 5 ty's. I am missing one. I have two vowels; en+ vowel; are+ vowel; and r+ vowel. What am I missing?
sp7/32 - what the dish ran away with, minus a vowel, first letters of Miss Field, actress
ty -the one who (anagram of the car wheel thing)
Ty again, Haz. What would we do without your excellent clues????
You'd manage very well, I'm sure! Glad it worked.
just takes over
I think that's a hint to get going. See you again.

hi fm
so now, at 11:am, I can stop for breakfast! be back late tonight (after bridge)
Hi Wolvie , how ya doing?
enjoy breakfast and have a fun game, flosey. Will jilli be there too?
thanks Sprite, I expect she will be playing
please give her a warm hug from me, and have one yourself as well :)
Jilli writes our bridge column in the local paper - many non bridge players read the column because she makes it so interesting
and from me too flosey if you would :)
I will thanks Sprite and FM
jilli is an amazing woman. I so wish she lived nearer. And you too, flosey.
she is indeed an amazing woman sprite, has had an interesting life from early childhood on
I miss doing the early morning chat 9for me time wise) just don't catch up with some babblers at all these days.
now must get on with the day, by all and good luck with the grid
and an unbeatable spirit, or so I feel.
***bye all

LOL sprite
evening everyone x
So how are you and the family and Terra, seems ages since we chatted.
hi Katie!
Hi Katie
I am exploring the wonderful dark landscape of overtaxing myself again and finally learning some things. Family is doing great, school year has started again today. Terra isn't tiptop atm, it is in my profile.
and how are you doing, FM, and your dear ones?
goes to read sprites profie.
Oh hasn't he just the most beautiful face!! sorry to hear he has a problem, fingers crossed.
aw, hugs and kisses to terra, sprite
clue for the second pi 4/5
thanks both :)
they say that it is impossible to tell yet if his hips are not good. Won't know for sure until he is 1,5 years, so I am kind of stubbornly thinking we will get him right before that time ;)
oh sprite, lets hope it gets better
with so many babblers sending good vibes, how can he be anything than better soon?
Boo - umm go to the loo perhaps
Absouletly sprite!

Hi Wolvie
hi wolvie
hi neeta
all the best, Katie, and take time to get fully well
ty sprite, it's nothing serious but not driving for 2 hours a day when I feel like this
Okey dokey busy with work and not so much time to babble these days to nice to have a chance to catch up with babble friends.
I'm sure summer used to quieter once upon a time but it seems mad this year.
Perhaps a sign of the times?
must be, feeling old now lol
ditto :) but i am coming up for half a centuary!
so 8, 40?
on the bright side that has changed as well, being in your 40s & 50s in no longer old

aarrrgghh
struggling with it for a while
so 8 - do you have the co 8 - hair dye? it is similar, just no l - different coNsoNaNt
Absolutely! Scrabbler and i are sharing the same birth year in Sept and there are a few other vorgo babblers too so the PB will be partying from the 8th to the 17th :D

*Virgo even!

OK I'll get a marquee and build an extension onto the PB in time for the Virogo bash of the decade!

ROFL - and awaaaayyyy we go. :-)
neeta - look at what I clued at 1:24
hi jane
okay FM
hi jane-tigger
Scarbler and I are both celebrating our 50th bithdaysso it has to be a special babble party. Can't believe i am going to be that age BTW - don't feel anything like it!
I turned 51 this year, still feel 19
53 here and ditto
hello everyone
it is a beautiful age! Which dates are your bds, FM?
oh woweeee I found the 11 all by myself!
ummm Scrabbler is the 8th is I remeber correctly and mine is the 17th
WTG sprite!!
i am 45 sometimes feel like a105
September, right?
lol jane-tigger, now that I recognise!
LOL Wolvie and ch and jane
Yup sprite
we all have days like that jane. :-0
especially when children are off school to much energy in a morning for me
c's finished. whew
I think my kids are perfect. Or they would have been, had they been delivered with an off-switch.
lol sprite
ok FM, you and Scrabbler are mine, grin. Well, you're part of the themes now.
I am really liking being 'older' cos you can do what ever you like and have so much life experience that you know what suits you or not. I am an intertwined theme now?? ((sprite))
I even moved the themes for those days on to other dates. You'll be party queen on your B-day.
too true, FM. I'd hate being 25 again. Or (shudder) 18.
well...if we are requesting bdays on the theme calendar, better reserve Feb 9 for me. :)
hey EvaN! You got it.
bye guys.. have to go... need to sleep
seems i only get to do "drive by" babbling these days :)
mm me too, 30's was when I really started to feel like I knew who I was.
bye neeta
hi evan
reserve me for April 11 sprite
Hi EvaN!!!
EvaN, any specific theme you'd like to see on your birthday?
Me too which is why I am indulging in a bit of chat this evening.
ill hafta think about it. i usually ask people to display some sort of green icon (since thats my favorite color) but i switched it up this year...
FM, how about you? How do we celebrate your B-day icon-wise? And you, Wolvie?
and as a p.s when I hit my 30th I got divorced :D
lol FM, yes, that should do it!
LOL sprite the firth thought that came to mind is that the icon theme should be my fav word from the grid - the Tenrec from Madagascar
challenging! I am putting it in the themes, we will see how that works out, FM :D
How about just make it an obscure aminal from that island?
will do!
any of our british babblers watch Being Human?
mind you most animals from Madagascar are obscure but I gess babblers could also use the cartoon pics too.
me
Haven't heard of the programme EvaN
hi its me
Wolvie... wolves for you?
((((((HUGS EVERYONE))))))) hello!
If birthdays are being reserved theme-wise, then mine's 22 February
hi stid
stiddyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!
isnt Aidan Turner (Mitchel) just yummy?
hi movie
*hugs stiddie* Twice in a row, I am lucky!
reserve april 11 for wolvie
FM -- its a program we get on BBC America
hiya all
hi Movie my man, you should check Feb 22... you are already in there :)
Hi mm, footie season has started and what about Arsenal!!
already did, Wolvie, but would you like a specific theme to celebrate your birthday with, like wolves?
wolverines, sprite. M go Blue. :-0
movieman!!! I saw Howl's Moving Castle last week -- was very disappointed as it really messed up the book's storyline. Artistically, though, it was wonderful as all Miyazaki films seem to be.
Michigan wolverines - university
Sweet Double 16, eh? Cool!!!!!!
also, what is the 42 about? are we celebrating Douglas Adams?
thought you'd like that, movie :) :)
ty btw sprite
Sprite sprite you do such a great job with the themes - thank you so much!!!!
I just like all his works, stid
sprite is a marvel with the themes, yes.
and what about your studying, sprite? is that going well? or are you waiting until the kids are back in school?
you're so very very welcome :) This is fun.
will try again next week, stid, when son is back to school too!
they go back early -- our kids have 3 weeks still.
I have two weeks left of classwork, but hoping to finish early so we can go to see our BC BAbblers again.
stiddy dear - I keep seeing snippets in the log of ou dashing in and out - sound like you life is still so very full on! Hope you are finding some time for yourself?
btw, sprite, I surprised a young Belgian scientist this past week when after we were introduced explained his last name to my son using what I knew of the Dutch -s suffix.... LOL it's funny how little things really astonish people
oh wow stid!
my life will have a little time for a few weeks now, FM -- until the Master's program begins end of September. I am a little sad that I won't have all the time I used to have for art and writing.
((stiddy))
but you will again, in time, stiddie. And with glowing pride of what you have achieved in the meantime!
sounds great tho stid, even so
and one of my new scientist friends (fouette here) has got the babble bug, so if you see her, please be patient. :-) She's new to games like this.
Just think how it will be once you have achieve and what a celebration that will be!
And next on my movie-going agenda is Inglourious Basterds (Tarantino's latest)
will do
**should I buy a hat**?
movie - I am going to see that this weekend. Looks great
always great to have new babble friends, stid
I've been waiting ages for it
LOL I like it just for the title, movieman. Hope it's going to be fun.
will you let me know what you thought of it, movie, please?
Of course, sprite
We will look forward to the review mm
so FM, have you been staying out of trouble? I miss seeing you around.
great :)
really? I just saw the trailer awhile back, and then his spot on Bill Maher
Then I'll be seeing 'The Final Destination' (in 3-D!!!!!)
Pretty much stid - not be blamed for too much on babble recently. Am moving home in the next month or so if the legal eagles get the fingers out and looking forward to a new chapter in my life.
my roommie just saw District 9 this weekend. said it was the must-see movie of the summer.
go for it MM
oh, and sprite, I have a reputation now, with my "pink cane of power..." LOL the terrifying stid!
went to Ice Age 3 with the kids, in 3D. Not great, but funny enough and I liked the 3D.
good for you FM -- moving can be stressful, though. I hope it'll be a nice place.
stiddie!!!! Just when I think I can't be any prouder of you, you amaze me again! Yay for the pink cane lady!
whens the final destination out?
pink cane of power? I love it!
End of the month, floodster
thanks
*hugs FM* May the move bring you peace, warmth and room for the cat and dog to be :)
good luck FM
I just asked stidkid what the 3D movie was last saw was, and he can't remember either... LOL must have not been that memorable
Am lookin forward stiddy as my BF died last year so am moving on in many senses.
good grief1 353,not worth starting;((
come on crossy - you can do it! and hello
It's a biggie crossie ((()))
go cross go!!! you're on vacation right -- al lthe time in the world? (except for all those little things your wife found for you to do)
hi crossy, it is fast though
oh no FM! I didn't know that! *sad mama look*
lol@ little things
but I laced it with bacon special for you :D
:))
I haven't started yet, not using the computer with the babble browser on it.
hello
I see all the letters for "cilantro" but they aren't in the right places.
am almost finished, it is really a fast one.
hey phaeton!
hi phae
hi phaeton
S'OK stid, only just recently shared that so to speak.
Hi phae
(((FM))) want to share my lovely russian choclit with me? hazelnut and cognac... *puts some on table for folks*
sprite, why am I NOT surprised you're almost done? LOL
fm:))) ((()))
grin, I must, I have to be strict about my own bedtime these days. Or my hubby will be.
Oooh you temptress thanks but no - looked at a cake the other day and put on 2 pounds :)
FM, will you ever learn, you silly? You don't LOOK. You eat with closed eyes.
*swipes stids chocolate and runs for her life*
*grin* poor FM. I know how that feels.
LOL EvaN!
*liking sprite's plan immensely*
It's not too bad a grid today given it's size but still took a while to defeat it.
EvaN, let me know if you have wishes for your birthday icon theme, ok? By email is fine, or in chat.
YAY already FM?
ill let yo know, sprite. thanky! :)
wtg FM!!!!
congrats FM
great :)
LOL sprite -stids invitation was sooooo enticing ....
well, I should go lie down again. just poked my nose in to visit a while. I'll start the grid later if I am up to it. See you-all again soon!
*poof*
Have a terrific rest, stiddie *hugs*
bye stid
seems im going to be on my own for dinner tonight. gotta figure out what to make, since i will finally have a chance to eat something chris doesnt like!
I finished before I even dared chat toay - I have learnt that the moment I start chatting the grid goes out the window.
Bye stiddy!!!
sounds good, EvaN!
So what will you choose EvaN?
I actually babble better while chatting. Somehow seems to free my mind to cough up weird words.
sadly, i think i will probably opt out of real cooking and either crack open a can of beefaroni or else make a box of mac-n-cheese...
unless someone cares to treat me to sushi. :D
sushi! Of course. Any time.
a can of beefaroni or else make a box of mac-n-cheese... What the heck is that? Remeber I am in the UK.
I was told sushi works great as bait .. if you can keep it on the hook
'a can of' anything sounds very dubious
*grins* Hi BabbleRabble!
Hi BR
;-) BR
FM, dont they have chef boyardee over there? hehe
Hello, sprite ... how is the little lion doing today?
Hello, folks
uuuumm never hear of it EvaN but that doesn't mean its not here.
still not eating fanatically, but he is definitely more lively, BabbleRabble. I have the feeling we are going in the right direction with him.
heh, it is pretty much just macaroni + ground beef in tomato sauce, i think
its so uber-processed that i forget what it is supposed to be...hah
macaroni bolognese
thanks sprite, madam translator...heh
*takes bow* ;)
and FM, im guessing you can figure out mac-n-cheese. :)
gah I hate my new keyboard, it hsa slightly larger gaps between the keys than the one I have used for the last so many years and I haven't got used to the gaps and extra stretch to things like the enter key
thats a bummer FM
if it takes more than a can opener it is too much work
frustrating, FM. But you will get used to this one. Some day.
Macaroni and cheese but never seen it in a box - but know from the movies that it is a very US thing.
can i have a clue for the first an5?
fireflies. Loved this grid. And the company! Night all, am going to get some sleep this night.
be well, sprite
bye sprite
really? they dont have boxed mac-n-cheese in the UK? its just the dried macaroni noodles. you cook those like any other pasta. then youve got either a cheese sauce that you squeeze over the noodles (and the heat melts it to the right consistency) or else you get a powdered cheese that you mix with milk + butter.
sprite when i move I will have the £ to buy a new system and am going to get a laptop and link it into mPC and upgrade and and and - Oh you should see my shhopping list :D
anyone know the 11 letter word?
an + ***t but not least
AN 11/112 -- related to the study of people/cultures.
an 11
AN11 puts a suffix on the AN 9/72
Nighty night sprite, lovely to spend some time.
ty BR
hi floodster
hi
wait so i still dont knwo the word
EvaN - not sure - we have the pasta but personally i buy the pasta and then make the sauce from scratch.
youre so fancy, FM. ;)
LOL
i do all my "real" cooking when im cooking for the both of us. so when im on my own, its usually boxed/canned meals, or takeaway.
an + definite article: **e + t***** of cancer or capricorn; add, **l's well that ends well for the 11
fireworks
this was a full grid

*grin* an 11!
hey -- kid just reminded me about the bees on the pavement at the meeting last week -- any entomologists around?
there were HUNDREDS of bees of at least four varieties on the red bricks under some sort of oak (spiky leaves, looked like the ones from back east) at the college on the warm days. It was like they were licking up sap? And getting royally drunk. At least some of them were literally on their backs. And a few of them were so confused when I set them upright they flipped back over again.
evening all - this is a shocker of a grid - I've still got 161 to find and i have to go to bed soon so no finish for me
how is "spam" not a wurd?
hello kazzer... I am SURE you're the right one that Jill meant -- are you in or near Chard?
its a brand name
yes i live in lovely chard
not anymore, not in relation to computers!
well, my mother was there last autumn, visiting our ancestral home which still stands from the 1500s or so. I bet she passed you in the street!
she might well have done - its not huge
that's just the funniest thing... it's such a small village, I never imagined a babbler would live thre!
I'll have to see if I can find the pic she took. Do you have a moment? I can post it on flickr
Hello -- I think hubby and I drove through Chard in 1968
excuse me Chard is a town - we've got 10,000 inhabitants
yes i will be about the h has decided to start watching tv
oh -- sorry, didn't know you make a size distinction! (we don't -- the two are mostly interchangeable, and officially a city starts at 5000 in the states)
okay, hold on a sec.
you proably did Jilli - the main A30 is chard high street
hey jill
city vs. town depends on type of government, I think
to be a city here you have to 1 either have a cathedral or 2 be made one by the queen
Brighton and Hove was the latest one I think
I think we stopped at a pub there and got ticked off for parking where there was a yellow line we hadn't noticed
and fireworks for me..phew that took a while.
that sounds about right - though parts of the high street are very very old. next time I am in there with a camera I will take some of the older bits and post em on flckr
Before I lived here Chard was always somewhere you drove thru to get somewhere else
congrats zooz
YAY zoom!
congrats, zoom
many thanks :-)
Chard was one of the places where Judge jeffries held the bloody assizes
ARGH. Mother seems to have removed the pics from England! *sigh* oh well.
The family name back then was Strong. I think there's a sign on the house somewhere with the name on it.
what were bloody assizes?
congrats zooz!
never mind stid - i will post some and perhap you can then compare
it was funny -- the door was so short even mother looks tall in front of it.
thanks Kazzer. Wait until I tell Mother...
the 11 is some word!!
clue for the last re 4/4
re + poet *.*. Eliot
wow -- those assizes were pretty nasty. Well after that part of the family left for the colonies.
yes they are
is the i word fishy? if not, may I have a clue for NBT?
italian word for island + babbler ***gone
or opp. of one who brings people together
*wondering if the Strong house is in Chardstock instead of Chard* hm. I should look that up.
hmm - i just got it - if you cut something off from everything you is***** it - if you did you you would be the is 8
hey, kazzer and stid :-)
Chardstock is just donw the A358 from us - very good pub
hi une
thanks Kazzer, for the clue *thinking*
did you see my clues, stid?
I think they actually lived both places. But I am not remembering which place the house is in. *sigh*
une' clue is good as well
I missed une's clue, thanks *thinking*
GOT IT! :-D
up to 119 words already.
yay, stiddy!
congrats - it was quite difficult - i was wishing for longer words yesterday - now i am not
ah, a PS word that I actually knew to look for. perhaps there is hope for me yet!
only 234 to go
go BR go!!!!
223 left for me now
hey BR :-)
I am done ...
oh -- of course you are, BR! LOL
Hello, Une ... are you in Ann Arbor?
got home last nite -- good visit but long drive -- 530 miles each way :-)
has anyone heard from mccurlschool lately? I have been thinking about her and wondering how she is.
yes, that IS a long drive. did you have fun while there?
I have 4737 points
yes I did, Stid -- mainly just good to see my child!
sy5 please
sy5 is an IT person at your workplace
sy + a second year high schooler is a ***homore
it's like the annoying sound a firetruck makes, the sy 5
thankyou so much
ohhh, that's another one!
did you get any fast driving awards, Une?
glad you got to see your child. you know, I thought that perhaps the elder stidkid would be different when he returned from Oz. and he is... but just different, not necessarily "better"... LOL perhaps more typically t4!
thanks for the computer guy, too
clue for ro 7
the king and queen are ro*alty and anabolic ****oids
*sits with boo to wait for clue*
thanks BR!

great, hahaha
:-D
SO close to halfway. then I will lie down again.
is your icon one you grew?
it's a pic a friend took at a flower show back in the spring -- lovely, eh?
yes
i have three grey corners and halfway!!!
yahoo for stid!!
make that four grey corners. I think some of BR's "done-ness" is rubbing off!
the fourth one must be the youngest
5
good one, BR LOL!
go nrk go!
rofl w/ BR and Une
i keep forgetting that i'm not done yet
3, and I definitely need help with these 3
hello hursheroo! how are you doing? how is the nephew? is he driving a car yet?

ca 7 40 hint please?
i am doing fine, the nephew is fine, he is driving his little plastic car... :)
and he is too funny for words.
ca + your boss is your emp*****
close enough! *moves cars well back from the road*
hey, hursh :-)
thanks!
what the heck kind of a word is that
go nrk go!
ci 9/60
ci 9 60 is one hursh
ah thanks! didn't think to adjective that one.
thanks for the ci 9
and la 9 60
I don't have the la 8 and 9 combo yet... those are my final two words
clue for the second ro 5

(la8 and 9)
thanks for the LA 8
thanks une!
and the 9...
now I have all the 9s! and still listless
yw :-)
YAY NRK!!!!!
I read Jane of Lantern Hill a few times, but I don't remember LAPSTER
same here stid, high five!
congrats, nrkii
^5 for hurshy
this grid had too many words that I've never seen before in my life... not even on babble!
her cats were LAPSTERS, as opposed to the purebred one her grandmother gave her, which was NOT
I'm exhausted
hey Une -- I learned some Portuguese last week. I thought FRENCH was peculiar. *shaking head sadly* now I have something for comparison, it's not so bad!
oh, okay... hmmm, not one of the more memorable of LMM's books for me
it became one of my faves later along in life. not that i'm terribly far along...
you're ahead of me, stid -- no portuguese in my brain!
I learned a little Portuguese back in the 90's so I could flirt with a guy from Brazil in my work faxes
nrkii LOL!
i also am shocked that SPAM is not in the dictionary - hey look spam does not get a red underline when you type it over here, so chat knows it is a word, but the grid doesn't
Oi! Tudo bem?
well, the biggest shock is that an H following a consonant sounds like a consonant Y... and the O is oo like school; so minho (name of a city) is min-yoo *sigh*
that's what I thought, too, hurshy - about the spam
it's a nasal language too, so it looks like spanish on paper, but doesn't sound like it!
problem is that spam is also a porper name as far as a food item goes
oh. and "thanks" is said differently if you are a woman (end in a) or a man (end in o); rather than changing it for the person to whom you are speaking...
type ine line in 2 hours and its a typo..sogh lol
true, nrk. that was the other funny thing. but they were nice people, so I did my best.
...
but that shouldn't be the issue crossy... NANCY is allowed, and TONY
yes but being proper doesn't preclude it. "john" counts in the grid as a toilet, even though it is a name.
oh! and the R isn't the way I thought, either, it's more of a gargle sound in the throat
there are exceptions like alan
it has to NOT have a generic meaning to be left out.
*puts nrk in PB*
*puts cross in PB also*
that's alright stid, as long as there's chocolate there
the grid does indeed go by its own set of rules lol
are there any RH words?
Você tem enormes orelhas!
*puts lovely choclits in PB*
no
orelhas?
crossy fires up the choc fundue for nrkii
thank goodness for small miracles
ooh, fondue....
Say the big what??? *now confused in Portuguese as well as english*
lets see, strawberries, cherries, banana chunks, what else for a chokkie fondue
is it ears BR?
French is oreilles
yes
bacon, crossy. i'm surprised at you!
ah!
hi, folks
you have big ears?
hello welki!
sorry dont do bacon and chocolate;
ummm. pound cake, crossy.
how about choclit cookies for choclit fondue?
only Portuguese I know
sounds fine;)
and definitely orange wedges!
*writes down bacon rule #1*
stop stop stop you're torturing me with the cake and cookies and fondue
rofl... and does it come in useful, BR?
*holds out choclit to hurshy -- just out of reach*
*whimper*
lol welki, the /1 rule of bacon is never fry it up in the nude;)
ah, you have enormous ears... of course
naked bacon?
great conversation starter ... if you don't have to duck
bacon is alreay nude,i was speaking of those who cook it lol
*pushes choclits closer to hurshy and adds a nice cup of tea/lemonade*
for the bottom N i have a 4 letter plural and a 5 letter plural (that indian bread or whatever it is) - anyone want to point me toward the other two?

mmmmm. thanks cross!
thanks for that nrk
sorry, Guidry was the only thing that popped into my head and I wasn't sure about whether baseball would work
are there any RY words?
didn't work for me, but the others did!
no
no ry words
it didn't work for me except that i looked for a three letter name. :)
rajah's mate
are there any ps words other than the sound?
3 ps
yes, biblical hursh
book of ps***
ooh ok
*bonk*
and then greek letters too ps4
*double bonk*

appears TraderKate has absquatulated .. so much for my pr skills
BabbleRabble - thanks for the heads up...new to on-line games. so much to read; so little time.have already sinned.mea culpa....
Your PR skills are great BR. It probably had too many rules to sound like fun
i hope she will return, and prove you aren't that scary, BR
Welcome Traderkate. The rules are pretty simple really, try not to put the grid words in the chat and if you do, expect to get teased and sent to the PB (penalty box)
Rabble I'm a rotten typist...also lost the page twice trying to get back to here...you're not scary...your efforts are appreciated by this tyro..
I'm going to the box already///////
clue for sa 5/12: means the word starts with sa; is 5 letters long; and worth 12 points
did it again, Traderkate...but that also says you have a pretty good language base so have fun!
Kate, just try to make as many words as you can and enter them over there<<<<<<<<<<<Don't worry; You will get the hang of it!
Finally paid close attention to the tile/box stats. can see how it'll be happy as things get tougher.
Welcome back Trader Kate. We like it when you take treats to the Penalty box to share for when the rest of us get there, and we will! ps. I like ice cream
we've all done it as newbies and oldbies! lol
foremost, TraderKate, have fun!
I entered an 8-letter word into the grid last night and boy, did I hear it! LOL!
Is that what all the ice cream/chocolate/blueberry talk was about?
usually, but we like to talk about food in here.
lots of talk about food here
I mean I entered it into the chat....and gave away 105 points to boot
This is a cyber eatery
way to go, jai! lol
oh boy, guess I'd better eat before I log on
If you have questions, TraderKate, ask.. people are happy to help
We pass out choclit (Stiddie's spelling) frequently

Yep- I usually save the chat for when I am done-na 4 has a twin vowel
thank you finally got it
and Hi Button and car
Good evening everyone!
need the an8 also
Hi bidawger
er...an9 I mean
no an8, hsh
geez who asked for such a large grid..
only an9- prefix for study of man plus warm weather ending
I still don't get it as I am unfamiliar with Indian flatbread
na 4 is a palindrome; pl
we see the an9 often with Phil in front of it, to mean someone who gives of their money to charities
Button, it has a TWIN vowel!
hi ru, not me.
do you folks actually get all the words? how long does it take you? seems like it becomes a joint effort in the end...who gets the bragging rights then?
this one took me about 3 hours. in between lunch, and a nap. lol
OK...so I got the AN 9...is the 8 from that?
I worked on this grid for about 5 hours, but I am slow...we do not clue the first hour...but then we help each other without giving it all away
no 8 car
We try to help each other .. It's not a competition ..

What point do you think it is OK to list today?
back from lickety's. I'm really not computer savvy - can cut and paste, but I'll have to read and experiment for the clipboard part. it'll be handy ..
whenever you want CAR. I had 89 left when i listed.
if only I can figure it out.
just having the 2 letter leads and the points help, TK
UGH. I am only at 143 left!

stid you can't get blue crabon the west coast
I need the fishy first AN 5 please *sigh*
LOL Stid! I think there are less calories in crab!
my fave in Annapolis for crabs is Cantler's
I miss the ones from the Chesapeake. It's only been 30 years...
an5: picnic pest + I'd love to ***vel around the world.
blue crabs aren't really seen over there much are they, stid - I associate the west coast with dungeness crabs - also good, but different
awwwww, of all times to walk in ... during blue claw talk. man, i could eat a dozen of them babies *sigh*
hey welki!
dungeness, very very nice...
toddle off for dinner.
no blue crabs on the west coast that I know of, actually -- we get dungeoness and spider crabs and king crab out here
dungeness are nice, but not like pickin' blue claws
and soft shell crabs out here? stooopid expensive, and always frozen
is that the little shack? we are going there tomorrow! btw there is a plsce to get kobe burgers here
thanks Min -- that's the second, I need the first
yummm, crab....not to be confused with crabs!
TO - stick with the steamed crabs - jumbo (yes expensive but worth the price)... man I am soooooooooooo jealous
Stid, it's a world map, except with an n
Ooh! Now I just found an 8 all by myself! I am miss Smarty Pants today!
rofl LBD!

i wanted to go to stoney's but it is 33 miles from here
a picnic table, some newspaper and NO MALLET ... use a fork to split the shell gently, so no surprises when you chew
so, my joke, since BR is being quiet is from a book of jokes from Prairie Home Companion. It's the only one I remember from the whole book... What did zero say to eight?
33 miles? that is nuttin'! I drive further than that for dinner in the metroplex here
but TO, why go to stoney's - cantler's is consistently ranked the best
no 5/12 .. not the direction?
but you are atlking wih the deer magnet...one strolled out in front of me sunday a mile from home at 3:30PM!

Stid, summer has been OK. I wanted to do so much more, but alas, the weather has not cooperated! I am not good at going to the beach and then heading out to work...I can do one or the other...so that kind of puts a limit on beach days! Oh well! The boys are happy and they know I love them, so its good!

Yes, please, Stid...with whipped cream....?
Thank you all for your hugs and cobbler! I worry a lot about my mom. She is finding the multiple funerals very difficult.

I will lick it off...save the napkin!
How is sterno not a word? The brand-name thingy again I suppose?
car is a professional when it comes to whipped cream
it can be tough to lose many people in a short time. I found it hard years ago when I lost my dear grandfather, great uncle and then cousin in just a few months' time. be patient with her, and with yourself.

hey, jac!!
Hi Une. How are you?
finishing up final 16!
Go for it, Une. It was a nice grid.
was out of town for several days -- first grid as I get back and BAM, it's 353 words
:-D
I particularly liked the an9 and 11 adjectival forms, normally prefaced by 'mis' or 'phil'.
Une - better than the disappointment of a 20 word one, which I think happened to me after a holiday/
LOL!
Howdy...
Thing is, I follow the grids and do them on paper whilst on holiday... we can get the grid up on Other Half's 'phone. However, typing the words in would be time-consuming and expensive.
Hi Jai.
Hai!
woohoo, 1 got 100 words in 2 hours!! now i must quit so i can pack for the hospital tomorrow
Jen, what's going on????
Jen - you're having a ganglion removed? Did I remember that correctly? Good luck.
i am having a ganglion cyst taken off my wrist tomorrow, nothing major, other than
i won't be able to type for awhile!!
Good luck, dear. That is a outpatient surgery, right?
Jen - shame it wouldn't be bashed away, as we discussed yesterday.
Jen - you can type one-handed.
hope it goes well for you Jen
Just takes a bit longer. LOL
Yeah, they used to smash them w/ books.
yes, outpatient, i did try to whack it, it is too hard
jai - my Mum used to bash hers against the greenhouse doorframe.
smash them with Bibles in the old days hence the name Bible cyst
I was bit once by a snake and had to have the wound closed outpatient- it wasn't bad at all...hope yours goes easily.
My old dentist had those cysts on his wrists and all up his arms.
thanks all, i gotta go pack!! hope to see you soon!
Ew!
Good luck!
camo is a word where i live
that is gross jacula
I am styill mad that "onos" is in the dictionary but is not one of the words on this list. It shoud count, as well as pissy.
Don't say 'smash them with Bibles'; it reminds me of my old head teacher at grammar (high) school. She was also our RE teacher and when a wasp came into the classroom during her Religious Education lesson she told a girl to swat it. The girl grabbed the nearest book to hand only to have the teacher yell, 'NO! NOT WITH THAT!' She opened the desk, extracted a world atlas and smacked it with that instead.
I still LOL about that 40 years on.
Great story!
Our Head Teacher wasn't a Buddhist. LOL
I loved the TV ad for anti-viral tissues that had a Buddhist monk blowing his nose on one and then realising he'd killed a million viruses.
I just am glad the girl did not have our family Bible- it weighs about 40 pounds and has plates of the Masters- very pretty.
LOL!
help with the last ro7 please?
A fan of Mr Cowboy Rogers...
ty Jai- always miss that one
yw!
great clue, jai!
It tells you how old I am getting.....very sad <sniff> (LOL)
we still have mr rogers' restaurant chain here :)
Long live the Double R Bar Burger!
Wowie, that goes back....
the original restaurant is now a dry cleaner, and number two is a bagel place. Hardee's destroyed them.
Flips my trigger, in fact. I think that joke should get a "neigh".
and McDonald's killed them to take over their prime locations, since they predated mcd's here
neigh!
McD has killed a lot of things...
Not even counting people, jai. LOL
the hamburger for one thing....
I was too chicken to mention that fact. You are a person of courage, Jac.
If you want a good burger make it yourself.
Amen.
Unfortunately, I've made a rod for my own back now re friends and family bbq's.
With homegrown tomatoes. Yum!
tomato on white bread with mayo an salt and pepper - nothing else quite says Summer :D
What do you put in yours?
Yup! And homemade ketchup, homegrown onions and homemade burger buns.
Amen to that, too!
<drooling>
Earlier, it was mentioned that we babblers talk about food a lot...
dcs - I'd do the bread, tomato and salt but not the pepper. Since a tomato is a fruit, a pinch of sugar brings the flavour out. A good tip for anyone making pasta sauce.
I said we are a cyber eatery...
LOL jai.
Our favourite book and film is 'Chocolat', too? LOL
Now we need Stidddie and her "choclits".
my uni alma mater is in the grid - George Ma5
tomato ice cream is a joy.
we make it using a grape ice cream recipe.
PB for dcs for typing the al4 word.
I'm working on HAVING an alma ma5...
OOps
tomato icecream? Never tried that.
PB and J for me
cool, i'm not up to the As yet
i'll get the recipe and email you, jac
me too me too!
Thanks, dcs.
noted, and will do, jai
may take me a week, because the keepers of the recipes are hard to reach :)
Ty!
Patience is a virtue...
I'm hoping for a glut of toms this year as I've planted a few varieties. There's the normal red Gardner's Delight, then the orange striped Tigeralla, along with Chocolate Cherry and Black Sea Man.
A virtue I do not have...
Came back for a quick pass....you're still talking about food???? NOW I NEED a snack!!
TOLD YOU< kate! LOL!
Sorry Kate!
what can we say, Kate, we like food here
We love food and we love words.
There's Babble and food. What else do you need?????
liquor
Drink?
wine and beer
Ah, yes, jai's liquor hot tub.
Tea, coffee, wine, beer etc.
*raises glass to jacula*
Irish Cofee, dcs?
And a glass of wine....
Cheers dcs.
We all climb in with our favorite drinks and have a cyber smash party...
a fave of mine, jac :)
Do we have to get naked?
It's cyber- do what you want!
mmmm Irish coffee
In 'the old days' Ang and Lola used to host those kind of parties in their jaccuzi.
only if you want to
jmc - only Jameson's will do.
I've apparently lived a very sheltered life...smash party?
fine by me jac
jameson's or good single-barrel bourbon
We all get smashed
They used to 'get nekkid' in Ang and Lola's tub.
AHHH...
no clue either trader but I get the gist
Bourbon is NOT whiskey!
nekkid is good, would make a fine Babblet, too!
bourbon is not whiskey
snap
crackle, pop!
nekkid is not a babblet it is good Southern
LOL jmc!
you're right, it's not, though my palate doesn't differentiate them much
dcs, you need to clean your palate.
hello
lordofmercy dc I need to work on your palate then!
128 to go
hi harp
Hey, there, HJ, join us in the hot tub with your favorite drink....
all my words from co** to hor** disappeared ! what'd I do?
i can tell a bunch of gins apart, and scotch from whiskey, but whiskey/buorbon are akin
hello, harp
jai is your pet a butterfly? I took my mother to the butterfly refuge in Montgomery Co this weekend
There's scotch and then there's good Scotch and then you cross the Irish Sea and there's whiskey, and Jameson's beats them all.
You like to live dangerously, HJ!
bourbon has less of an edge to it
Hi Harp.
refresh trader and they will probably come back
hm. i may have to try more whiskeys and see, then.
No...I just wish I could keep them as pets and have them flutter all about the house..it's a standard icon....
okay guys, I got 12 left...and I think I need help

Not in Babble's outdated dictionary, it isn't.
let's get pissy about spam not being a word

It is properly a proper noun

BR - your stuff about forgiving is interesting. However, I still don't se me and Beloved ever forgiving Beloved's daugher's Mum for preferrinfg the now convicted paedophile to her own daughter.

EEK! Min used me as a clue.
A ta 5/14: I wear a ta*** cloth bathrobe in the winter
How did I use you as a clue? I did use your name in a clue last week Jacula.I think it was the first 3 letters
i don't think i was very clear, i meant the penultimate ta5/10, but thanks for great clues
You used me just Min when talking about the late oil millionaire's wife, wife an an assasinated predident.
got the renter one, thanks
gort - the clues ARE for the penultimate ta5.10.
Both ta 5/10s are plural of the ta4/4 words gortmold
ah got it now thanks jac and min, i don't think north and south hemispheres have the same kind of bathrobes. Actually, we don't do bathrobes at all down under, we just strut, nekkid! Or if we must, we use a dressing gown
an9: prefix denoting the study of man+ warm, moist climate ending; an11 add ending to that; as8 having to do with the breastbone, being near to it; a large water container outside ci7- add vowel to make ci8, add consonant to make 9; pl to make ci8; long name for dye co8; one who separates things and makes them be alone is8;la8 add consonant+ pokey plant spike; pl. for la9; one who gives arsenic to another po8;underwater sounding system beginning+ small insect end so8; Claudette was a tr8 storm. Good luck!
BR - if I was the convicted one, what I'd do next is cut loose, go away, take a new name for public consumption and make a new life. I'd have to inform the appropriate authorities of my real whereabouts if I didn't want to end up in prison. I hate to say this, but this is what I predict will happen next in my stepdaughter's mother's life. Will she still think he was worth giving her faughter up for then?
Copy and paste- do not panic!

We got a letter from the CPS today telling us the outcome of his court appearance. The charge confused us a little... 'Sexual activity with a Child or Famil Member'.

anyone give me a clue for sy5/16?
So, if I'm a little sleepless and sometimes a little drunk these days, forgive me. We have some stuff to contend with here.
sy + a word usd for a weak male, often prefaced by 'milk'.
Jac. I was abused. I can relate to this. My family was ripped in half, some believed, some did not. It was awful.
Really, it's a compound word for a person who operates a computer bulletin board.
Jai - same as is happening to my 'stepD' now then.
Ugh.
what a dreadful and difficult situation for you. you're not alone...just no one talks about it... would a support group be of help for the immediate time?
my brain is in lockdown Jacula; still don't get it, but will keep looking at those clues
any j clues welcome.
and hi all
Locks, what are you looking 4?
sy5/16
sy + someone in the second year of high school of college: ***homore
ja+ run a ***; add suffix; pl.; change last vowel; pl. That's all the ja's. No others.
Kate - her Dad and me have each other and my kids and don'tt need a support group, bbut I think Step may need to talk outside the family. That has been ofered by S buut maybe an online thing would suit her better.
holy crap, alabaster has huge paws, and can he ever spread his toes

see y'all after the flip
Locks - the fog hits both sexes over a certain age at times. We must stick together to make sure the generations both above and below us don't ridicule us.
Is it ok if we ridicule ourselves?
Having said that, both of my own children are in their 20s now and I've witnessed both doing the 'What did I come in here for?' thing.
Did lists help anyone at all?
yes, jai
LOL, I usually refer to that as C.R.A.F.T. disease
oh, good.
Jac on-line good idea. anonimity may be desired. even a phone line just to ramble or vent. divided loyalties can be very hard to wade through.
You know, that thing wheere you have to go back to where you first thought of it in order to try to remember what it was you were going to do.

Damn! Why does my daughter still insist on having her music festival tickets and other important mail sent 'home'? I asked her that not long ago, since she now has her own home... 'You're more likely to either be in or awake' she told me.
Being a mother never ends, does it? It's a job for life you can't bail out of, even when the going gets rough. Which is a lesson my Step's Mum should learn. If I'd bailed out on my own daughter she'd be dead now.
My oldest is 32 and still calls me and cries, "MOM!"
10 years from now she'll be so busy with her own life that you'll be wishing she was coming around for a cuppa and her mail...
I like you, Kate. Please come back again!
I'm 52, never really connected with my Mum, but she's still always there for me, and when she goes... I can't think about coping with that.
Jac, when is your b'day? I am also 52.
She was always there in the background in my life. Just like a Mum should be.
jai 22 April 1957.
Mine is earlier- coming up 9/25.
Like you too. I'll be back for sure. You ALL seem like a really great bunch. Made it to 120 words...too busy talking...need to go soon.
It "flips" at midnight CDT, Kate. New puzzle, then. You might like to stay and see that!
My 'step' asked me a few weeks ago if I 'love' her. 'No,' I replied, 'Not yet. But I will always look out for you nd look after you.'
15 mins.
Guessing it goes nquiet as frenzy begins...
Bad typing again...
* What do you call the history of a car? * An autobiography.
Everyone says a variation of "flip" to see who is first on the list.
I can't stand the flip and clue thing. I'll be gone then.
