I attended a meeting where a rather large lady with with a larger voice was telling us about her experiences on the northern tip of an island -a quite isolated lighthouse keeper, small community and the story was very interesting but suddenly quiet which woke me to find her staring right into my eyes!! How embarrassing

The thing is, sometimes you fall asleep despite yourself. We were at a carol concert with my sister-in-law, who really wanted to be there, but who fell asleep during part of the performance. She's a teacher, was tired after a busy term and just nodded off.

one of the joys in life: washing your bedding, drying it outside and put it right back onto the bed. Smells soooo good.

I don't get out much, so with the bedding I can get some outside inside and bring it with me
I bought some of those new microfibre cloths that are supposed to clean without chemicals. They worked fine, but I missed the smell of 'clean'.
Yes, sprite, and fresh air does have a smell all of its own.
oh I would do too. It is somehow not complete without the appropriate smells.
I know. They're good for not leaving streaky marks and the one for glass is very good.
What works really well is those car window microfibre cloths
Husband was terribly impressed that the glass in the new shower cubicle stayed so clean. He thought we had bought a miraculous self-cleaning one and hadn't realised it was down to me and my microfibre cloth.
I use this range called Method in the shower every couple of days and squiggy the glass in the shower after use. Because of the kitties I don't regularly bleach the shower
*unlurking* 'cos excited by the cleaning chat - have you trid the sponges that you just wet and they remove marks from paintwork, etc - I think they're great
and when he found out, he was properly impressed even more?
I use a squiggy thing on the shower and every now and again bi carb and vinegar in a stocking foot

It happened in the bathroom.Actually, I had to clean it up three different times today. The first time was when it first happened. Then husband tried to snake the tank. When he was done he tested it by running water in bath. Then it backed up again; clean up #2! Then we had a professional come and pump the tank. Tested it again by flushing toilet,it backed up again! Clean up #3! Now we are waiting for another person to come to snake out the service line. We'll see what happens after that. Hope there is not a clean up #4!

I am living proof of those benefits, circe--shoulda seen me only a few months ago. Yes. But it will be nice to have just one dog again. He will get lots of attention once she's gone. This will be the second time they've been separated. She spent one year in Hawaii already.

Yes. There's no rabies in Hawaii, and they plan to keep it that way. The first time, she was quarantined for 4 mo6, but the kids visited several times a week.
This time, they did a blood test, so she'll be able to be released directly from the airport. But we still had to wait 4 mo6 before she could be shipped.
