currently into a magazine called original logic problems, from penny press. at the back there is section..from the professor's files. you have to design your own grid.
also absolutely love a little magazine called pixel pictures, can't get enough of those!
oh, penny press, yes, have a bunch of those, Mom gets boxes of them. Never heard of the other one, hmmm.
not absolutely sure, but i think it might be an ozzie mag.
what are they like?
there is a grid 25 x 30 large squares, with 25 small squares in each one. the clues, on each row and column, tell you how man squares in a block need to be coloured in. there is no clue as to how many clear squares there are in between. you end up with a pixellated picture
oh, i know what you mean, have done some of those but they were called something else.

i did the housework yesterday, it's daughters turn today, after all it's her baby who is the crumb making machine
i didn't get anywhere close to finishing 3 days in a row, so i took a couple of days off because i was so annoyed. i had some bad time lag issues that slowed me down too mch...al better now

Jilli - we've had Gas Board workmen here for past two days fitting a new central heating boiler, thermostat and programmer, and thermostats on the radiators. Their 'boss' annoyed me a couple of times yesterday but really p*ssed me off today when the house flooded from upstairs to down a few hours after he left saying 'job done!' because he'd not put a rad valve on properly. We had to get an emergency plumber out and he left at 10pm. We're still measuring the damage done.

Oh yes, it was definitely our toilet! I did not get the well pumped,my mistake. It was the septic tank. 3rd time we've had to do it since we moved 3 years ago.
Those tanks usually need doing once a year or every 18 months, Min.
OUr central heating job (replacing a 30-year-old boiler etc.) was a £4,000 (approx. $6,366.77) job. If the man in charge at the Gas Board has any sense when he gets The Call in the morning he'll tell us they did the job for free - it'd be cheaper.
