When you say LA it just sounds like a huge area but when you say Brentwood it say MONEY!

Brentwood is where we drive tourists to see the big homes and the beautiful landscaping.
I think there was a report on the news that Brentwood and BelAir had very heavy rains today. Our average rainfall is about 11", and today some places had as much as 3" . We'll probably get more over the rest of this week.
They live on Mayfield Ave in Brentwood. I must do the Google Maps thing to see their place but I'm sure it's modest.
I would be surprised because there is not much in Brentwood we consider modest. Most people I know could not afford to buy in that area. I would expect million dollar or more prices for the homes.
I think many millions, because in my area of Hollywood the houses are in the range of $850,000 and a friend recently sold er house for $2,250,000 and that's about 2 miles west of here.
Wow! I think I will just be content in Orange County. I definitely think our weather is better.

poor Haz had a difficult situation on the vets phone last night (to say the least).

It's a long story - okay not that long, but basically, as you know, husband is a vet and I answer the phone after hours to deal with emergencies. Last night it involved a mentally unstable pregnant young woman whose hamster was having multiple babies and eating them.

(i never saw it or ads for it or anything). and then after i found out that it is a fictional show, i saw an ad for it in a magazine, and it was saying stuff about love, intrigue, etc. and i was thinking how odd that was because from the factual stuff i've seen about mormon-offshoot-polygamists, the most noticeable thing about their lives is how dull they are.

It is sad jilli but I gather the Republican was the better candidate so for their district it was a good thing, but for the long run and health care reform continuing, it was not such a good thing.
