I really shouldn't shower her in the house, but I do. And Hobbit is a very undoggy-smelling dog. Always has been, no idea why
Ruby has an exceptionally dense coat, layers and layers of undercoat, and has a very strong smell. Max, on the other hand, with his long, shiny fur and no undercoat, doesn't smell at all.

I don't know as they get the same diet but they both scratch a lot and he, with his OCD, makes big holes in his fur. She has a shorter, scratchier coat, except for the pale fur. And his is wavy and long, soft and shiny.
bella's is very thick and undercoaty too. she goes swimming and doesn't even get wet
Cleo, our other black one (deceased :(( ), was very soft also.

We have streaky bacon and back bacon. Streaky is great to fry up nice and crispy as it is thin and has a lot of fat. Back bacon is good for a good English fry up - but watch the calories and the heart!

I live in my last apt for 19 years and never had a reall problem with noise. I was very lucky. The few times the noise was too loud or too late at night I banged on the wall or left a note for my neighbor and the noise stopped.

my father never cooked either nor did any house work for that matter and when I was old enough to mow the lawn I am the one who did it but my mother ended up doing it cause I didn't do it all the time... I was the cook when my mother started to go to work after my dad died. I love cooking to this day... it isn't a chore either

I've not only been a typing pool supervisor (which meant proof reading everything about 20 typist typed every day + proof reading my own output) but I was also a frequently published writer at the same time, which meant I had proofs to read, as well as proof-reading copy for 3 magazines.

Dorens - but 'hurry up and read a book' is not good. If the book has gripped you, you won't be able to put it down. If it hasn't, you'll either read it in your own way and in your own time, or else you'll give up on it.

oh jac, if you only knew! sometimes something has completely grabbed me, but I deny myself the pleasure until i have gotten various things done, because I know once i start i won't put it down, so i don't get to it until i'm nearly ready to fall asleep... and keep trying to stay awake cause i am enthralled, but keep falling asleep cause i'm 60 and sleep deprived
Maybe it grabbed you in the first 3 chapters and then got a bit boring, so you turned the pages to see where it went and found a predictable ending? That's been the death of many a mss for me as a reader, a proof reader and a critic.

I love fresh killed and cooked fish, wether trout, rainbow or brown, salmon or cod etc/ You don't get the fishy smell when they're freshly caught. knocked on the head and cooked.
my dad caught a mackeral and showed us why we don't eat it...sprinkle salt on it and watch the wormsxs come out of the meat...you will never want to see that again!
..and wormsxs are much worse than worms!
Best breakfast I ever had was brown trout, freshy caught and killed with big field mushrooms freshly picked.
