We got another flight back to England where we had lost him and found him dead in the fountain.He was only 2 years of age.

I have a capon this year because it's just the two of us, but everything else is traditional: especially my mother's giblet stuffing!
No mushrooms. We have a 50/50 split on mushroom love in my clan. I come down on the "not like" side, so when I cook, there are either no mushrooms, or mushrooms to add if you like.
One of the grandpas in the family used to get up on Thanksgiving morning and make two pans of stuffing. One was for dinner, one was for munching on during the day. : D

Oh here is a good Thanksgiving story from the Butterball turkey hot line. A man realized when he went to put his turkey in the oven that the turkey was bigger than his oven.
He had to wrap it in towels, stomp on it to break bones and was then able to fit the crumpled bird in the oven. That's classic.

morning all - my favorite Turkey story- my girlfriend was told the best way to make a turkey was in a brown paper bag. Sooo, in goes her turkey, several hours later out come the flames. The dining room window is opened - out goes the flaming turkey. 13 people are on their way for dinner. Out comes the hose. Kids are sworn to silence. Everyone is wowed out by her " smoked turkey" and thinks she is a wonderful cook. : )

when we offer a clue...we normally put the first 2 letters and then the number of total letters in the word...then we offer a clue like what you just saw me do with the 'ma' words

Focus here, Tenor... the reason you only give the first 2 letters is because by giving any more than that, the words become too easy to find. If it's a long word, you can give clues. So for the word STOPWATCH, you could say ST9 = the opposite of go + wrist-worn timepiece
