we have a pretty hot case over here right now about a mom who got so sick of her 10 and 12 yo daughters fighting that she booted them out of the car. She drove about a mile away, and then came back to get them. But the12 yo had used her cell to phone a friend's mom to come pick her up, and she left the 10 yo behind! A good samaritan picked up the 10 yo and drove her to the police. The mom came back, couldn't find the girls, so went to the police station to report them missing and was promptly arrested.

scrab - I am not much of a panicker - so I generally don't (plus, I would have ethical issues with stockpiling) - didn't do the cipro thing post 911 either
Not really stockpiling, but just have it at hand in case a shortage occurs.
on the news here they said that neither the flu vaccine nor tamiflu was efficacious for swine flu.
if healthy people store and this thing does become a pandemic thwn stocks in hospitals etc will run low, this will cause more issues
as I said... I am not worried
these things take time to produce and they are working on one for this very strain, just maintain good personal hygene and avoid people obviously ill
